Ethan Pollack is the Associate Director of Research and Policy for the Future of Work Initiative at the Aspen Institute, Colorado, U.S. Prior to his work at the Institute, he worked for the Pew Charitable Trusts researching and advising U.S. states on budget, tax, and infrastructure policy. His current research on the future of work examines how sweeping changes to the economy – including the rise of outsourcing and independent work – are undermining the social contract, and how policies related to portable benefits, worker training, corporate governance, and worker ownership can create a more inclusive and dynamic model of capitalism.
