Formerly Professor and F.C. Manning Chair in Economics and Business at Dalhousie University, Dr. Ng is a globally recognized expert on diversity and inclusion in the workplace who has recently joined Bucknell University. His research covers a range of broad issues relevant to human resources and organizational behavior with a focus on issues related to diversity and inclusion. He has conducted research on issues in career planning and personnel as well as the barriers faced by specific populations. He has papers addressing the experiences of gender, ethnic minorities, and he has done pioneering work on LGBTQ issues, persons with disabilities and, more recently, on generational issues and aging populations. He has also tackled interesting cross-cultural issues. A prolific researcher, his work has been published in leading journals including the Journal of Business Ethics, British Journal of Management, the European Journal of Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management Journal, Human Resources Management Review, and the International Journal of Human Resource Management.
