Betina has extensive experience within academia, policy think tanks, as well international humanitarian and development organisations. Betina is committed to research and policy that focuses on the needs of disadvantaged groups so that economic progress leaves no one behind. Prior to joining the Diversity Institute, she worked for the United Nations in supporting implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals at the field level. Betina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Governance from Ryerson University and Masters of Arts in Global Governance from University of Waterloo.
