Dr. Christian Lévesque is a Co-Director of the CRIMT research network and associated research centre, a partnership across 18 universities within Quebec and internationally. Under this research network he has conducted several long-term research projects including one on the aerospace sector in Montreal, Mexico, Ireland, UK, Spain and Belgium. His current research interests are focused on the impact of emerging technologies on work. One strand of this is a partnership project with Ryerson Future Skills Centre on the impact of emerging technologies on the future skill needs of the aerospace sector. He is also co-responsible for the research activities on Industry 4.0, Work and Employment undertaken by the researchers affiliated with the OBVIA (Observatoire international sur les impacts sociétaux de l’IA et du numérique).
