Dr. Brian Rubineau is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at McGill University, Québec. His research focuses on areas such as mechanisms of inequality in markets, occupations & organizations, professional socialization and social network analysis. He investigates how informal social dynamics contribute to inequalities in occupations and labor markets. Dr. Rubineau has been published in management and sociology journals such as Management Science, Organization Science, and American Sociological Review. He has been a Residential Research Fellow at the Institute for the Social Sciences at Cornell University and a Graduate Fellow at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University.
