David Drewery is Research Coordinator, WatCACE, at the University of Waterloo. His research centers on three themes: (1) the “quality” of work-integrated learning experiences, (2) lifelong learning (its conceptualization, measurement, and relevance to the future of work), and (3) students’ school-to-work transitions. This work has been published in journals such as Education + Training, Higher Education Research & Development, Journal of Education and Work, and International Journal of Work-Integrated Learning. David has been the Principal Investigator or Co-Principal investigator on several grants sponsored by the Government of Ontario’s Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities, the World Association for Cooperative Education (WACE), and Cooperative Education & Internship Association (CEIA). David is also a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies at the University of Waterloo, where his research focuses on sport and leisure services marketing and management.
