As jobs evolve, so are the skills needed to perform them. How are workers adapting, and what interventions can government and employers advance to keep us relevant?

Join us for a day of collaboration, sharing evidence and insights, and policy dialogue focused on supporting a skilled and resilient workforce for the challenges ahead. We are co-hosting this event with Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, with design and facilitation support from Purpose Co.

Attendees will engage with policymakers, local employers, labour groups, skills development organizations, and other skills stakeholders around five key issues: pathways to jobs, building an inclusive economy, SME adaptability, sustainable jobs, and technology and automation.

What to expect:

  • Insights from FSC’s skill development investments
  • Keynote speakers on the future of work
  • Networking with other leaders
  • Exploring policy implications and scaling opportunities
  • Considering future opportunities to advance Canada’s skills agenda

This event is part of our Insights in Action Tour – a series of events held across the country that offer timely evidence from FSC’s engagements to date, and regionally-focused conversations informing skills policy and practice across Canada.
