Skills in demand for aged and disabled carers

In August 2018, there were 175,400 people employed as Aged and Disabled Carers (the single largest subset of personal care workers). In the five years to August 2018, this occupational group recorded the second largest rise in employment, up by 46,600 or 36.2 per cent (this compares with growth of 10.4 per cent across all occupations).
