We are excited to announce that Alex Stephens, our Senior Manager at the Future Skills Centre, will be speaking at Bridging the Gap with EMC’s Skills Evolution: Industry & Post-Secondary Collaboration for Future Skills Training on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Delta Hotels Ottawa City Centre.

Hosted by EMC in collaboration with BioTalent Canada, the Canadian Agricultural Human Resource Council (CAHRC), the Canadian Council for Aviation & Aerospace (CCAA), and Social Research and Demonstration Corporation (SRDC), this event will focus on fostering collaboration between educators and industry to address Canada’s evolving workforce training needs.

Alex will deliver remarks highlighting the Future Skills Centre’s commitment to fostering innovative partnerships that align education and industry to meet the skill demands of today and tomorrow.

Mobilizing Building Adaptation and Resilience hosts regular Roundtables where we bring thought leaders and innovators together to discuss a certain topic. Our next event on December 5 is titled Making Innovation Happen. The Roundtable is centred around quick comments on interesting projects or initiatives, approximately 2 minutes in length. The idea is to have participants from across the building sector to hear what others are doing and be able to connect.
