Advancing Career Services: Virtual Stakeholder Engagement Forum

The Conference Board of Canada, in partnership with the Future Skills Centre, is hosting a virtual forum for career development professionals (CDPs) in post-secondary education. The session will open with a fireside chat featuring Trevor Buttrum, Executive Director of the Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers, who will discuss the evolving role of career services in higher education, highlighting key challenges, emerging trends, and opportunities for advancement. 

The Conference Board will then share research insights from 40 interviews with CDPs across the country and introduce plans to develop new tools and resources to address CDP needs. Facilitated breakout discussions will give participants a platform to contribute their insights and expertise, directly shaping the development of new tools and resources to enhance their work and impact. Join us to help advance career services and support students as they transition into the workforce.
