Prior to joining the Diversity Institute, Kayla worked in patient advocacy with Parkinson Canada. She has extensive experience working in politics and government, having held various positions at Queen’s Park as Constituency Assistant in Scarborough-Guildwood, Legislative Assistant at the Ministry of Research and Innovation, as well as Office Manager/Scheduler and MPP Liaison for the Minister of Agriculture Food and Rural Affairs. Kayla holds a BA in Political Science from Brock University, studied Public Administration at Humber College and is currently working towards obtaining her CHRP designation.
