Elyse Watkins, EdD is an internationally published author, researcher and strategic leader with over 10 years of experience enhancing equity and quality learning across Canada. She has worked with national and provincial governing bodies to improve skills development and education for all learners.
As the Associate Director of Corporate Strategy at the Future Skills Centre, she brings her passion for strategic planning, evidence-informed decision making, innovation and inclusion to enhance the future of work.
Elyse’s doctoral research, completed at the University of Toronto, focused on examining the skills in focus during the COVID-19 pandemic using an equity-based lens. She also holds a master’s degree in international education policy from Harvard University and earned her bachelor of health sciences (honours) from McMaster University.
