Meet the Team Powering the Future Skills Centre
Big things are happening at the Future Skills Centre (FSC), and it all starts with our people.
Over the past year, we’ve welcomed new colleagues and celebrated some familiar faces stepping into exciting new roles. These changes reflect more than just growth, they speak to the momentum building within FSC as we continue to push forward on our mission to shape a future-focused skills ecosystem across Canada.
We’re especially excited to introduce a few new members of our leadership team. This spring, Diana Apostolides joined us as Director of Policy and Strategy, bringing valuable experience in public policy and systems thinking. We’re also thrilled to see Alex Stephens take on the role of Director of Programs, bringing nearly two decades of leadership in strategic learning and partnerships. Cheryl Gordon has advanced to Director of Operations, applying her cross-sector operational expertise to build collaborative teams and champion values-driven growth.
This past year, Laura McDonough moved into the role of Associate Director of Knowledge Mobilization and Insights bringing her extensive experience in complex evaluation frameworks and advancing diversity, equity and inclusion. Eglantine Ronfard joined the leadership team as FSC’s Director of Strategic Communications, a natural next step that reflects her deep knowledge and leadership within FSC.
They join a dynamic leadership team that’s helping guide our work into the future.
Beyond leadership, our entire organization has grown in exciting ways. New team members have joined across departments, and many of our colleagues have stepped into roles with more responsibility and greater impact.
Looking ahead, there’s no shortage of exciting work on the horizon. With major projects and research initiatives planned well into 2026, we’re energized by what’s next, and by the incredible team that’s helping us get there. Sign up to our newsletter to get the latest on skills!
