Future Skills Centre Expands Evaluation Network to Strengthen Skills Innovation and Shared Learning

Toronto, August 18, 2025 – The Future Skills Centre (FSC) is pleased to announce the addition of new evaluation and learning partners. Selected through an open call in March 2025, these organizations will work closely with pilot projects to co-develop robust evaluation frameworks and assess impact, ensuring that Canada’s skills development ecosystem is guided by strong, evidence-based insights.

After a thorough selection process, the following organizations have been added to our roster of evaluation and learning partners:

These new partners join our existing network of evaluators, Malatest, Diversity Institute, Blueprint, and SRDC, each of which supports projects across a variety of sectors, regions, and communities. Our evaluation and learning partners apply diverse methodologies to test emerging hypotheses, challenge assumptions, and uncover what works, what doesn’t, and why, capturing critical lessons that help refine and scale successful programs for broader impact.

“As we expand our evaluation network, we’re deepening our ability to learn from innovation,” says Dr. Tricia Williams, Director of Research, Evaluation and Knowledge Mobilization at the Future Skills Centre. “These partnerships allow us to ensure rigorous testing and evidence about the effectiveness of innovation pilots, and will lead to stronger insights for policy and practice.”

Through this growing network and collaborative approach, we strengthen both project outcomes and the evidence base that informs effective policymaking and practice across the skills development ecosystem nationwide. We are focused on generating insights and evidence across multiple levels of impact: including individuals, organizations, and across systems. Learn more about our evaluation strategy.

Future Skills Centre is funded by the Government of Canada’s Future Skills Program.
