Il d\u00e9tient une ma\u00eetrise (Universit\u00e9 Simon Fraser) et un dipl\u00f4me provincial d\u2019enseignant (Coll\u00e8ge communautaire de Vancouver) et il est m\u00e9canicien d\u2019\u00e9quipement lourd endoss\u00e9 par Sceau rouge (Institut de technologie de la Colombie-Britannique).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avant d\u2019accepter le poste de directeur de l\u2019\u00e9ducation et de l\u2019engagement chez International Union of Operating Engineers, M. Haugen \u00e9tait le doyen et directeur du campus de la facult\u00e9 des m\u00e9tiers et des technologies de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 polytechnique Kwantlen. Il a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 une mission commerciale en Allemagne ax\u00e9e sur les d\u00e9veloppements de l\u2019industrie 4.0 et \u00e0 une mission commerciale en Australie, cherchant des applications pour l\u2019intelligence artificielle et le suivi des comp\u00e9tences. Avant \u00e7a, il \u00e9tait professeur et directeur du d\u00e9partement de l\u2019\u00e9cole des m\u00e9tiers du transport au Coll\u00e8ge communautaire de Vancouver.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans ses temps libres, M.
