Auparavant, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sidente-directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de Centraide du Grand Montr\u00e9al pendant huit ans, le deuxi\u00e8me Centraide en importance au Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le fil conducteur du parcours professionnel de M<sup>me<\/sup> Pere\u0161a et de son engagement aupr\u00e8s de diverses organisations (le YWCA de Montr\u00e9al, la fondation One Drop et Amnesty International France) est d\u2019autonomiser les gens, de contribuer au d\u00e9veloppement des communaut\u00e9s moins privil\u00e9gi\u00e9es et de contribuer \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les conditions de vie des populations les plus vuln\u00e9rables.
