Noel Baldwin est nomm\u00e9 directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral par int\u00e9rim du Centre des Comp\u00e9tences futures (CCF) \u00e0 partir du 3 juin 2024. Avec pr\u00e8s de deux d\u00e9cennies d’exp\u00e9rience dans la direction d’initiatives strat\u00e9giques et l’\u00e9laboration de politiques, Noel apporte une vaste expertise \u00e0 son nouveau r\u00f4le.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depuis qu\u2019il a rejoint le CCF en 2019 en tant que directeur des affaires gouvernementales et publiques, Noel a fait partie int\u00e9grante de l’impact de l’organisation, faisant preuve d’un leadership exceptionnel pour naviguer dans l’\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me des comp\u00e9tences et travailler avec diverses parties prenantes pour favoriser l’innovation dans le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences qui r\u00e9pond aux besoins \u00e9volutifs de la main-d’\u0153uvre et favorise une croissance \u00e9conomique inclusive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tout au long de son mandat, Noel a \u00e9tabli de solides relations avec les minist\u00e8res f\u00e9d\u00e9raux, les provinces, les territoires, les municipalit\u00e9s et les organisations internationales telles que l’OCDE. Ses efforts ont conduit aux premi\u00e8res initiatives strat\u00e9giques du CCF, y compris des investissements cibl\u00e9s visant \u00e0 combler des lacunes critiques dans les r\u00e9gions et les secteurs. Sous sa direction, des partenariats r\u00e9gionaux \u00e0 fort impact ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9s et d’autres sont en cours d’\u00e9laboration. De plus, Noel a renforc\u00e9 la capacit\u00e9 politique du CCF, en informant les fonctionnaires et en t\u00e9moignant devant les commissions parlementaires sur les comp\u00e9tences et le d\u00e9veloppement de la main-d’\u0153uvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avant de rejoindre le CCF, il \u00e9tait coordinateur de l’enseignement postsecondaire et de l’apprentissage des adultes au Conseil des ministres de l’\u00c9ducation (Canada) (CMEC), o\u00f9 il a dirig\u00e9 des initiatives pancanadiennes portant sur les comp\u00e9tences futures. Il a \u00e9galement travaill\u00e9 pour la Fondation canadienne des bourses d’\u00e9tudes du mill\u00e9naire et pour Transports Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

P\u00e8re et chef d’\u00e9quipe d\u00e9vou\u00e9, il se passionne pour la promotion de changements positifs dans sa vie personnelle et professionnelle. Noel vit \u00e0 Ottawa avec sa femme et ses deux enfants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
