Il est \u00e9galement membre du Centre Graham Bill pour l&#8217;histoire internationale contemporaine \u00e0 l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 de Toronto et un boursier Rhodes. Auparavant, Michael \u00e9tait pratique responsable pour la transformation du gouvernement au Centre Mowat et a \u00e9galement travaill\u00e9 comme directeur du scrutin pour \u00c9lections Canada et Global Affairs Canada, plus r\u00e9cemment en tant que boursier Cadieux-L\u00e9ger. Michael est souvent invit\u00e9 \u00e0 parler de ses recherches sur les technologies de rupture et les questions r\u00e9glementaires, et ses travaux de recherche et d&#8217;analyse sur ces sujets et d&#8217;autres ont fait leur apparition dans une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de publications acad\u00e9miques et populaires.
