Les personnes \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019un emploi ignorent souvent que des secteurs tels que l\u2019a\u00e9rospatiale et la d\u00e9fense, l\u2019agroalimentaire et l\u2019alimentation, ainsi que les sciences de la vie et la sant\u00e9 ont un besoin urgent de profils ax\u00e9s sur les technologies, tels que les d\u00e9veloppeurs de logiciels et les data scientists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De plus, le bassin de talents local pr\u00e9sente d\u2019importantes lacunes en mati\u00e8re de connaissances dans certains secteurs, notamment la construction, l\u2019agroalimentaire, l\u2019a\u00e9rospatiale et la d\u00e9fense, ce qui constitue un obstacle majeur \u00e0 l\u2019attraction de nouveaux talents. L\u2019objectif principal de la recherche \u00e9tait d\u2019identifier les p\u00e9nuries de comp\u00e9tences sp\u00e9cifiques, les exc\u00e9dents de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre dans certaines professions et les obstacles perceptifs qui emp\u00eachent les personnes \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019un emploi de poursuivre une carri\u00e8re dans les secteurs \u00e0 forte croissance. L\u2019\u00e9tude s\u2019est appuy\u00e9e sur les questions cl\u00e9s suivantes&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quelles sont les lacunes les plus importantes en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tences dans les principaux secteurs d\u2019activit\u00e9 de Calgary\u2009?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En quoi les perceptions des personnes \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019un emploi concernant les secteurs et les professions diff\u00e8rent-elles de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 de ces secteurs et professions\u2009?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quelles strat\u00e9gies, notamment le perfectionnement des comp\u00e9tences et l\u2019utilisation de l\u2019IA, peuvent le mieux faciliter la transition de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre et rem\u00e9dier \u00e0 ces d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibres\u2009?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces questions, le projet a utilis\u00e9 une approche mixte comprenant une enqu\u00eate quantitative rigoureuse, men\u00e9e entre le 5 et le 23&nbsp;mai 2025, qui a recueilli 1\u2009009&nbsp;r\u00e9ponses compl\u00e8tes aupr\u00e8s de personnes \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019un emploi dans le sud de l\u2019Alberta. Ces donn\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e9t\u00e9es par les avis qualitatifs de plus de 320&nbsp;employeurs, offrant ainsi une double perspective sur les points sensibles, les nouveaux besoins en comp\u00e9tences et l\u2019impact de l\u2019IA. La m\u00e9thodologie s\u2019appuie sur des travaux ant\u00e9rieurs r\u00e9alis\u00e9s en 2024, \u00e0 savoir les perspectives du <em>march\u00e9 du travail dans la r\u00e9gion \u00e9conomique de Calgary,<\/em> afin d\u2019offrir une analyse sectorielle plus approfondie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette approche a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisie afin d\u2019aller au-del\u00e0 des chiffres bruts de l\u2019emploi et de quantifier les lacunes en mati\u00e8re de connaissances et de perception qui constituent des obstacles majeurs \u00e0 l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 du march\u00e9 du travail.
