en pleine transition vers une \u00e9conomie \u00e0 z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission nette, avec une demande croissante, dans tous les secteurs et toutes les industries, de travailleurs ayant des comp\u00e9tences \u00e9cologiques. Les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement postsecondaire du Canada ont un r\u00f4le essentiel \u00e0 jouer pour garantir que les nouveaux dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s et les travailleurs plus \u00e2g\u00e9s poss\u00e8dent les comp\u00e9tences recherch\u00e9es, mais nombre d\u2019entre eux n\u2019ont pas encore int\u00e9gr\u00e9 la culture climatique et les comp\u00e9tences vertes dans leur p\u00e9dagogie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce projet visait \u00e0 comprendre comment les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement postsecondaire int\u00e8grent les comp\u00e9tences vertes, la culture climatique et les parcours professionnels verts dans leurs programmes, les obstacles qu\u2019ils rencontrent et les possibilit\u00e9s qui s\u2019offrent \u00e0 eux pour mieux r\u00e9pondre aux besoins \u00e9mergents de l\u2019\u00e9conomie verte. Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces questions, le projet a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 une analyse de la litt\u00e9rature existante et a men\u00e9 20&nbsp;entretiens avec des instructeurs et des membres du corps enseignant impliqu\u00e9s dans la planification des \u00e9tudes dans 17&nbsp;\u00e9tablissements publics d\u2019enseignement postsecondaire au Canada, repr\u00e9sentant des coll\u00e8ges, des \u00e9coles polytechniques et des universit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Le projet a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les changements apport\u00e9s aux programmes et \u00e0 l\u2019enseignement sont entrav\u00e9s par la bureaucratie institutionnelle et que de nombreux \u00e9ducateurs n\u2019ont pas les connaissances de base en mati\u00e8re de climat et les comp\u00e9tences \u00e9cologiques n\u00e9cessaires pour les enseigner aux autres. Les personnes interrog\u00e9es ont encourag\u00e9 les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement post-secondaire \u00e0 \u00e9laborer leurs propres strat\u00e9gies pour relever ces d\u00e9fis, tout en prenant note des pratiques prometteuses, notamment les \u201d laboratoires vivants \u201d (living labs) et l\u2019apprentissage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au travail. Les comp\u00e9tences vertes comprennent les comp\u00e9tences techniques, les connaissances, les valeurs et les attitudes permettant de d\u00e9velopper et de soutenir des r\u00e9sultats sociaux, \u00e9conomiques et environnementaux durables dans les entreprises, l\u2019industrie et la communaut\u00e9. Au Canada, les besoins vont de l\u2019alphab\u00e9tisation climatique de base pour les employ\u00e9s d\u00e9butants \u00e0 des comp\u00e9tences avanc\u00e9es pour des fonctions techniques particuliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Canada\u2019s post-secondary institutions have a critical role to play in ensuring new grads and mature workers have the in-demand skills and knowledge required for the transition to a net-zero economy. However, post-secondary responses to climate change have focused more on campus operations and research activities versus aligning educational practices with the needs of an emerging green economy.Les \u00e9tablissements post-secondaires du Canada ont un r\u00f4le essentiel \u00e0 jouer pour garantir que les nouveaux dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s et les professionnels chevronn\u00e9s poss\u00e8dent les comp\u00e9tences et les connaissances requises pour la transition vers une \u00e9conomie \u00e0 z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission nette. Les questions de recherche qui ont guid\u00e9 ce projet \u00e9taient les suivantes :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Comment les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement post-secondaire int\u00e8grent-ils les comp\u00e9tences vertes, la culture climatique et les parcours professionnels verts dans leurs programmes\u2009?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quels sont les obstacles rencontr\u00e9s par les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement post-secondaire\u2009? Quelles sont les possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9liminer ces obstacles\u2009?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>De quel soutien les \u00e9tablissements post-secondaires ont-ils besoin pour mieux r\u00e9pondre aux besoins \u00e9mergents de l\u2019\u00e9conomie verte\u2009?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Les partenaires ont proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 une analyse de la recherche \u00e9valu\u00e9e par les pairs et de la recherche grise, en synth\u00e9tisant les th\u00e8mes et en identifiant les lacunes en mati\u00e8re de connaissances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En s\u2019appuyant sur les r\u00e9sultats de l\u2019analyse documentaire, les partenaires ont men\u00e9 20&nbsp;entretiens avec des informateurs cl\u00e9s au printemps et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9&nbsp;2023 avec des instructeurs et des membres du corps enseignant impliqu\u00e9s dans la planification des \u00e9tudes dans 17&nbsp;\u00e9tablissements publics d\u2019enseignement postsecondaire au Canada, repr\u00e9sentant des coll\u00e8ges, des \u00e9coles polytechniques et des universit\u00e9s. Les entretiens ont port\u00e9 sur les parties prenantes des \u00e9tablissements post-secondaires impliqu\u00e9es dans la planification acad\u00e9mique et l\u2019\u00e9laboration des programmes d\u2019\u00e9tudes dans des institutions engag\u00e9es dans l\u2019int\u00e9gration de la durabilit\u00e9 dans les cours et les programmes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"what-were-learning\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheResult\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240819\" style=\"width: 24px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Fill-1-1.svg\" alt=\"\"> Ce que nous apprenons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement post-secondaire sont frein\u00e9s par un manque d\u2019agilit\u00e9<\/strong><br>Quel que soit le type d\u2019\u00e9tablissement, de nombreuses parties prenantes interrog\u00e9es ont d\u00e9crit le processus de mise \u00e0 jour des cours ou des programmes pour y inclure un contenu sur le changement climatique et le d\u00e9veloppement durable comme \u00e9tant long et bureaucratique. Les personnes interrog\u00e9es ont indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019il \u00e9tait possible de surmonter ce probl\u00e8me gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019engagement du corps enseignant et \u00e0 la participation accrue des leaders \u00e9tudiants \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9laboration des programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les enseignants ont besoin de renforcer leurs capacit\u00e9s pour aligner leurs pratiques \u00e9ducatives sur les besoins d\u2019une \u00e9conomie verte \u00e9mergente<\/strong><br>De nombreuses personnes interrog\u00e9es ont estim\u00e9 que l\u2019enseignement de la culture climatique et des comp\u00e9tences \u00e9cologiques ne relevait pas de la sp\u00e9cialisation de nombreux \u00e9ducateurs, et ont appel\u00e9 \u00e0 un d\u00e9veloppement professionnel accru pour aider les enseignants dans leur transition personnelle et professionnelle vers le \u201cz\u00e9ro net\u201d et l\u2019enseignement des comp\u00e9tences \u00e9cologiques. Les personnes interrog\u00e9es ont formul\u00e9 une s\u00e9rie de suggestions pour surmonter cet obstacle, notamment la cr\u00e9ation de centres de d\u00e9veloppement durable dot\u00e9s d\u2019un personnel comp\u00e9tent en la mati\u00e8re afin de fournir le soutien et les ressources dont les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement post-secondaire ont besoin pour rendre leurs programmes plus \u00e9cologiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Il n\u2019existe pas de solution unique<\/strong><br>Les personnes interrog\u00e9es estiment que les \u00e9tablissements post-secondaires doivent cr\u00e9er leurs propres strat\u00e9gies pour int\u00e9grer la culture climatique, la durabilit\u00e9 et les comp\u00e9tences \u00e9cologiques dans leurs activit\u00e9s d\u2019enseignement et de recherche.
