Sommaire<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Les m\u00e9tiers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s sont un moteur important de la croissance \u00e9conomique du Canada. De la r\u00e9paration des \u00e9quipements et la maintenance des services essentiels \u00e0 la construction de logements, la production de biens et le bon fonctionnement des lieux de travail et des m\u00e9nages, les m\u00e9tiers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s sont le moteur du d\u00e9veloppement des infrastructures, de l\u2019innovation et de la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9. Pourtant, ces m\u00e9tiers sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 une p\u00e9nurie imminente de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre, et une grande partie de l\u2019attention politique s\u2019est concentr\u00e9e sur l\u2019\u00e9largissement du vivier d\u2019une nouvelle main-d\u2019\u0153uvre. On a accord\u00e9 beaucoup moins d\u2019attention \u00e0 ceux qui travaillent d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans ce domaine, en particulier les artisans ind\u00e9pendants et les propri\u00e9taires de petites entreprises, dont la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 maintenir et \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper leurs entreprises est tout aussi essentielle \u00e0 la vigueur \u00e9conomique du Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En raison des limites des donn\u00e9es disponibles, le pr\u00e9sent rapport explore deux questions en se basant sur les travailleurs autonomes comme indicateur de l\u2019entrepreneuriat&nbsp;: 1) Dans quelle mesure l\u2019esprit d\u2019entreprise devrait-il \u00eatre reconnu comme une dimension essentielle des m\u00e9tiers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s, et 2) quelles sont les comp\u00e9tences les plus importantes pour la r\u00e9ussite des entrepreneurs dans les m\u00e9tiers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s\u2009? En se basant sur le cadre de comp\u00e9tences en entrepreneuriat inclusif de l\u2019Institut de la diversit\u00e9, la litt\u00e9rature a fait ressortir des domaines cl\u00e9s au-del\u00e0 des comp\u00e9tences techniques, notamment les connaissances juridiques et r\u00e9glementaires, la gestion financi\u00e8re, la gestion de projet, le marketing et la promotion, les ressources humaines, ainsi que l\u2019innovation et les comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques. Ces comp\u00e9tences sont essentielles \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite entrepreneuriale, mais des recherches suppl\u00e9mentaires sont n\u00e9cessaires pour \u00e9largir et adapter davantage le cadre au contexte des m\u00e9tiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019une des principales conclusions est que les strat\u00e9gies de pipeline, bien qu\u2019importantes, ne suffisent pas. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que les travailleurs autonomes repr\u00e9sentent d\u00e9j\u00e0 une part importante de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre (14,1&nbsp;% de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre canadienne est autonome, contre 20,3&nbsp;% dans les m\u00e9tiers g\u00e9n\u00e9raux), il sera essentiel de d\u00e9velopper leurs capacit\u00e9s entrepreneuriales pour cr\u00e9er des entreprises adaptables et r\u00e9silientes. Bien que des donn\u00e9es empiriques indiquent que le secteur du commerce compte de nombreuses petites entreprises, les donn\u00e9es existantes ne refl\u00e8tent pas suffisamment la pr\u00e9sence et les caract\u00e9ristiques des petites et moyennes entreprises (PME) actives dans ce secteur. Il sera donc essentiel de collecter des donn\u00e9es plus d\u00e9taill\u00e9es afin d\u2019\u00e9clairer l\u2019allocation des ressources, les d\u00e9cisions politiques et la conception des programmes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">La recherche pr\u00e9conise \u00e9galement une vision plus large de l\u2019entrepreneuriat, trop souvent assimil\u00e9 \u00e0 la technologie, ce qui conduit \u00e0 concentrer les financements et les formations entrepreneuriales sur le secteur technologique et limite le soutien accord\u00e9 aux autres secteurs. L\u2019application de cadres tels que le Cadre de comp\u00e9tences en entrepreneuriat inclusif \u00e0 l\u2019entrepreneuriat dans les m\u00e9tiers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s peut permettre d\u2019\u00e9laborer des programmes plus adapt\u00e9s en identifiant les comp\u00e9tences sp\u00e9cifiques aux besoins des entreprises, \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents stades, dans diff\u00e9rents secteurs et pour diff\u00e9rentes identit\u00e9s. Ce faisant, les entrepreneurs du secteur des m\u00e9tiers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s seront mieux plac\u00e9s pour cro\u00eetre et contribuer davantage \u00e0 l\u2019avenir \u00e9conomique du Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group key-insights-grey has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#0000000d\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Perspectives cl\u00e9s<\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px;margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No.svg\" alt=\"\">Les travailleurs qualifi\u00e9s sont plus susceptibles d\u2019\u00eatre autonomes. Les donn\u00e9es de 2021 r\u00e9v\u00e8lent que, tandis que le taux d\u2019autonomie de l\u2019ensemble des travailleurs au Canada est de 14,1&nbsp;%, environ 17&nbsp;% des travailleurs certifi\u00e9s Sceau rouge (certifi\u00e9s dans des m\u00e9tiers d\u00e9sign\u00e9s) et 20,3&nbsp;% des travailleurs dans les m\u00e9tiers g\u00e9n\u00e9raux sont autonomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-1.svg\" alt=\"\">Dans le domaine des m\u00e9tiers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s, l\u2019accent est principalement mis sur la formation de nouveaux travailleurs, mais il faut \u00e9galement s\u2019int\u00e9resser aux artisans ind\u00e9pendants, aux entreprises existantes et aux entrepreneurs potentiels, qui ont besoin de comp\u00e9tences entrepreneuriales et d\u2019un soutien cibl\u00e9 pour maintenir leurs activit\u00e9s et poursuivre leur croissance, ce qui contribuera \u00e0 renforcer l\u2019\u00e9conomie canadienne<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-2.svg\" alt=\"\">L\u2019entrepreneuriat doit \u00eatre compris comme un concept plus large que le secteur technologique, car les entrepreneurs dans les m\u00e9tiers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 bon nombre des m\u00eames d\u00e9fis que les autres chefs d\u2019entreprise, notamment la ma\u00eetrise des lois et r\u00e9glementations, l\u2019obtention de financements, la gestion de projets et de ressources, la commercialisation de leurs services, la supervision des ressources humaines et l\u2019adaptation aux nouvelles technologies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"the-issue\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheChallenge\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240812\" style=\"width: 12px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vector-2.svg\" alt=\"\"> L\u2019enjeu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group flex-print is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Les m\u00e9tiers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s jouent un r\u00f4le d\u00e9terminant dans la croissance \u00e9conomique et la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 du Canada, et leur contribution devient encore plus cruciale \u00e0 mesure que les gouvernements s\u2019efforcent d\u2019augmenter l\u2019offre de logements, de renouveler les infrastructures et d\u2019op\u00e9rer la transition vers une \u00e9conomie verte. Les m\u00e9tiers \u00e9tant pr\u00e9sents dans de nombreux secteurs \u00e9conomiques, leur impact est consid\u00e9rable. En 2021, les secteurs o\u00f9 les m\u00e9tiers sont tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9sents, comme la fabrication, la construction, le transport, l\u2019information et la culture, l\u2019h\u00e9bergement et la restauration, ainsi que d\u2019autres services, ont g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de 29&nbsp;% du PIB du Canada.<br>Malgr\u00e9 leur importance, les m\u00e9tiers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 des pressions consid\u00e9rables. Plus de 700\u2009000&nbsp;artisans devraient prendre leur retraite d\u2019ici 2028, et le nombre de jeunes qui se lancent dans ce domaine n\u2019est pas suffisant pour les remplacer. Les gouvernements \u00e0 tous les niveaux ont pris des mesures pour \u00e9largir le bassin de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre, notamment en modifiant les voies d\u2019immigration afin d\u2019accorder une plus grande priorit\u00e9 aux travailleurs qualifi\u00e9s et en investissant dans la formation technique afin de renforcer les capacit\u00e9s de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moins d\u2019attention a \u00e9t\u00e9 accord\u00e9e \u00e0 ceux qui travaillent d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans ce domaine, en particulier les travailleurs ind\u00e9pendants et les propri\u00e9taires de PME qui poss\u00e8dent peut-\u00eatre une solide expertise technique, mais qui manquent souvent des comp\u00e9tences entrepreneuriales n\u00e9cessaires pour maintenir et d\u00e9velopper leur entreprise. Bien que des donn\u00e9es plus d\u00e9taill\u00e9es soient n\u00e9cessaires pour d\u00e9terminer la part des PME dans les m\u00e9tiers, nous savons que le travail autonome joue un r\u00f4le majeur dans ce domaine. En 2021, le taux d\u2019emploi autonome au Canada \u00e9tait de 14,1&nbsp;%, contre pr\u00e8s de 17&nbsp;% chez les travailleurs certifi\u00e9s Sceau rouge, qui sont certifi\u00e9s dans des m\u00e9tiers d\u00e9sign\u00e9s, et 20,3&nbsp;% chez ceux qui exercent des m\u00e9tiers g\u00e9n\u00e9raux.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme l\u2019entrepreneuriat est largement envisag\u00e9 sous l\u2019angle de la technologie, d\u2019autres formes essentielles d\u2019entreprise sont souvent n\u00e9glig\u00e9es. Ainsi, le soutien \u00e0 l\u2019entrepreneuriat dans les m\u00e9tiers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement assur\u00e9 par le biais de formations techniques, m\u00eame si les propri\u00e9taires d\u2019entreprises artisanales sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 bon nombre des m\u00eames d\u00e9fis que ceux du secteur technologique.
