href=\"https:\/\/projectccwe.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/rapport-du-comitc3a9-canadien-des-femmes-en-ingc3a9nierie-avril-1992.pdf\"><em>Elles font une diff\u00e9rence<\/em><\/a><em>, <\/em>qui identifiait les obstacles importants \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e et \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite des femmes dans les professions de g\u00e9nie et d\u00e9taillait les cibles et les recommandations de changement. Plus r\u00e9cemment, Ing\u00e9nieurs Canada a lanc\u00e9 son initiative&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/engineerscanada.ca\/fr\/diversite\/les-femmes-en-genie\/30-en-30\">30 en 30<\/a>, dans le but d\u2019augmenter le pourcentage d\u2019ing\u00e9nieurs nouvellement titulaires qui s\u2019identifient comme des femmes \u00e0 30&nbsp;% d\u2019ici 2030. Malgr\u00e9 ces efforts, les progr\u00e8s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 limit\u00e9s. En 2022, les femmes repr\u00e9sentaient seulement 25&nbsp;% des \u00e9tudiants de premier cycle en g\u00e9nie, 15&nbsp;% des professionnels du g\u00e9nie et 20&nbsp;% des ing\u00e9nieurs nouvellement agr\u00e9\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le milieu de l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie, les femmes continuent d\u2019\u00eatre confront\u00e9es \u00e0 un \u00ab\u2009climat glacial\u2009\u00bb qui comprend des pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s sexistes dans les \u00e9valuations de performance et la r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration, des attitudes misogynes et sexistes et des microagressions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Le manque de diversit\u00e9 dans l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie a des effets d\u2019entrainement sur la conception des produits, souvent avec des cons\u00e9quences fatales. Par exemple, les donn\u00e9es sur les accidents entre 1998 et 2008 aux \u00c9tats-Unis r\u00e9v\u00e8lent que les conductrices portant la ceinture de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sont 47\u00a0% plus susceptibles d\u2019\u00eatre gravement bless\u00e9es que les conducteurs masculins, car la conception des mannequins f\u00e9minins utilis\u00e9s pour les essais de collision n\u2019a pas pris en compte les diff\u00e9rences biologiques entre les corps des hommes et des femmes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De plus, des \u00e9quipes diversifi\u00e9es produisent de meilleures performances. Elles sont nettement plus susceptibles d\u2019apporter une innovation radicale et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer les performances financi\u00e8res, et d\u2019\u00e9viter la pens\u00e9e de groupe. Il y a de solides imp\u00e9ratifs moraux et commerciaux pour promouvoir la participation des femmes en g\u00e9nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Ce rapport examine les progr\u00e8s r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par les femmes en g\u00e9nie et les lacunes qui subsistent, et s\u2019appuie sur des recherches et des pratiques exemplaires pour faire progresser un plan d\u2019action fond\u00e9 sur des donn\u00e9es probantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group key-insights-grey has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#0000000d\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Perspectives cl\u00e9s<\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px;margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No.svg\" alt=\"\">En 2022, 25\u00a0% des \u00e9tudiants de premier cycle en g\u00e9nie \u00e9taient des femmes, contre 14\u00a0% en 1992, soit une diff\u00e9rence de seulement 11\u00a0points de pourcentage en 30\u00a0ans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-1.svg\" alt=\"\">Les probl\u00e8mes d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui sont assez semblables \u00e0 ceux de 1992 \u2014 manque de mod\u00e8les, socialisation des filles, p\u00e9dagogie et programmes d\u2019\u00e9tudes centr\u00e9s sur les hommes, obstacles \u00e0 l\u2019emploi et \u00e0 l\u2019avancement \u2014 et le climat glacial persiste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-2.svg\" alt=\"\">Il existe des diff\u00e9rences statistiques entre les disciplines\u00a0: les femmes repr\u00e9sentent plus de la moiti\u00e9 de l\u2019ensemble des ing\u00e9nieurs en biosyst\u00e8mes (54,5\u00a0%), mais seulement 19,5\u00a0% des ing\u00e9nieurs en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Des efforts sont en cours depuis plus de 30&nbsp;ans pour faire progresser les femmes en g\u00e9nie, mais de nombreux obstacles persistent. Elle passe en revue les progr\u00e8s r\u00e9alis\u00e9s depuis la publication du rapport <a href=\"https:\/\/engineerscanada.ca\/fr\/diversite\/les-femmes-en-genie\/30-en-30\"><em>Elles font une diff\u00e9rence<\/em><\/a><em> <\/em>du Comit\u00e9 canadien des femmes en ing\u00e9nierie en 1992, lequel soulignait pour la premi\u00e8re fois les d\u00e9fis auxquels les femmes font face dans ce domaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce rapport passe en revue les donn\u00e9es recueillies en 1992 sur l\u2019inclusion des femmes dans l\u2019enseignement du g\u00e9nie, le leadership et la profession, et les compare \u00e0 celles d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui. Il fournit \u00e9galement une analyse approfondie des obstacles auxquels les femmes en g\u00e9nie sont confront\u00e9es, encore une fois en comparant l\u2019analyse de 1992 \u00e0 celle d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enfin, le rapport examine les strat\u00e9gies utilis\u00e9es pour \u00e9liminer les obstacles, en mettant l\u2019accent sur les initiatives qui favorisent l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, la diversit\u00e9 et l\u2019inclusion ainsi que l\u2019avancement professionnel. Il se termine par des recommandations visant \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des environnements plus inclusifs. Il est crucial de bien comprendre les m\u00e9canismes qui fonctionnent pour une certaine population et de les adapter pour d\u00e9finir une strat\u00e9gie, fixer des cibles et d\u00e9signer des responsabilit\u00e9s. Les interventions doivent se faire aux niveaux soci\u00e9tal, organisationnel et individuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Au niveau soci\u00e9tal \u2014 <\/strong>Il est essentiel de s\u2019attaquer aux st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes, au manque de mod\u00e8les et \u00e0 la socialisation des filles pour faire \u00e9voluer les attitudes \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de la nature genr\u00e9e de l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie. Il est essentiel d\u2019avoir des objectifs clairs et un plan de mise en \u0153uvre global, transparent et responsable. Les politiques gouvernementales et le soutien des organismes de r\u00e8glementation sont aussi essentiels. Par exemple, les politiques d\u2019approvisionnement du gouvernement ont eu un impact sur les projets de g\u00e9nie civil et d\u2019infrastructure, o\u00f9 les gros contrats peuvent influencer l\u2019embauche et la sous-traitance.
