Le pays manque de travailleurs dot\u00e9s de comp\u00e9tences techniques et d\u2019une formation postsecondaire, comme des ing\u00e9nieurs, des gens de m\u00e9tier, du personnel infirmier et des enseignants. On estime que ce d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre repr\u00e9sentait 2,6 G$ de PIB perdu en 2024. Bien que cruciales, la formation et la requalification ne suffiront pas \u00e0 combler l\u2019\u00e9cart, \u00e0 tout le moins pas assez rapidement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour dresser un portrait plus pr\u00e9cis du d\u00e9ficit de comp\u00e9tences et cerner les domaines les plus touch\u00e9s par les p\u00e9nuries de travailleurs, nous avons utilis\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es sur les postes vacants au niveau des professions. Pour cerner les comp\u00e9tences exig\u00e9es en fonction des profils de comp\u00e9tences professionnelles, nous avons ensuite mis en correspondance les donn\u00e9es sur les postes vacants avec la base de donn\u00e9es du Syst\u00e8me d\u2019information sur les professions et les comp\u00e9tences (SIPeC). Ensemble, ces donn\u00e9es fournissent un portrait d\u00e9taill\u00e9 des besoins en main-d\u2019\u0153uvre au Canada, y compris les comp\u00e9tences particuli\u00e8res, la scolarit\u00e9 et l\u2019exp\u00e9rience recherch\u00e9es par les employeurs. En outre, on d\u00e9nombre 10 250 postes vacants exc\u00e9dentaires dans les m\u00e9tiers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s et 1 750 dans les professions en ing\u00e9nierie.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"numbered-card__background\" style=\"background-color:#4e0047\"><\/div><div class=\"numbered-card__number\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-content-card\"><h3 class=\"numbered-card__title\" style=\"color:#4e0047\"><\/h3><div class=\"numbered-card__text\" style=\"color:#000000\"><p>Dans l\u2019ensemble, 80 % des postes vacants exigent une scolarit\u00e9 postsecondaire.
