des deux derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies ont radicalement chang\u00e9 la fa\u00e7on dont les Canadiennes et Canadiens vivent, travaillent et acc\u00e8dent \u00e0 l\u2019information. Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne a consid\u00e9rablement modifi\u00e9 les besoins et les comp\u00e9tences requises au sein de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre canadienne. Par cons\u00e9quent, les provinces et les territoires ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9laborer des programmes de codage et de litt\u00e9ratie num\u00e9rique pour r\u00e9pondre aux nouvelles demandes et normes refl\u00e9t\u00e9es sur le march\u00e9 du travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s par les provinces et les territoires canadiens, la recherche a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que le domaine de l\u2019informatique et de la programmation au niveau universitaire est principalement compos\u00e9 d\u2019hommes blancs. Non seulement les femmes restent sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es, mais les filles continuent \u00e9galement de montrer un faible int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les domaines li\u00e9s aux sciences, \u00e0 la technologie, \u00e0 l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie et aux math\u00e9matiques (STIM) et \u00e0 l\u2019informatique. Cependant, certaines statistiques et \u00e9tudes omettent de tenir compte des diverses exp\u00e9riences, des obstacles et des structures syst\u00e9miques et des identit\u00e9s crois\u00e9es au sein des STIM et de l\u2019informatique. Le risque est donc que, malgr\u00e9 le financement gouvernemental visant \u00e0 accroitre la diversit\u00e9 en informatique et l\u2019augmentation des programmes de codage et de programmation, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s continuent de passer entre les mailles du filet, apportant ainsi peu ou pas de changement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9conomie num\u00e9rique actuellement domin\u00e9e par des hommes blancs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Le but de ce projet est d\u2019examiner la recherche et la litt\u00e9rature qui reconnaissent les forces actuelles, mais qui identifient \u00e9galement les lacunes dans les ressources existantes. A\u00een\u00e9es et A\u00een\u00e9s, autres ressources communautaires).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"the-issue\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheChallenge\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240812\" style=\"width: 12px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vector-2.svg\" alt=\"\"> L\u2019enjeu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group flex-print is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Il incombe aux organismes gouvernementaux, aux industries et aux communaut\u00e9s canadiennes de privil\u00e9gier des syst\u00e8mes d\u2019\u00e9ducation centr\u00e9s sur la diversit\u00e9, l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9 et l\u2019inclusion (DEAI), qui r\u00e9pondent aux obstacles syst\u00e9miques auxquels font face les jeunes de diff\u00e9rents milieux dans divers domaines, notamment en ce qui a trait \u00e0 la litt\u00e9ratie num\u00e9rique et, plus important encore, aux STIM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En r\u00e9ponse, les gouvernements provinciaux et territoriaux ont investi des ressources consid\u00e9rables dans la promotion des STIM et de l\u2019informatique aupr\u00e8s des personnes sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans ces professions, notamment les personnes de couleur et les femmes. En r\u00e9ponse, de nombreuses provinces et territoires ont rendu obligatoires les programmes de codage, et le gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral a fourni un soutien financier aux programmes de codage communautaires, ainsi qu\u2019en classe, qui garantissent l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves des communaut\u00e9s marginalis\u00e9es. \u00c0 ce jour, cependant, seuls quelques progr\u00e8s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s en ce qui concerne l\u2019augmentation de la repr\u00e9sentation des femmes et des groupes marginalis\u00e9s dans les programmes de STIM et d\u2019informatique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans ce contexte, un des objectifs de ce projet de recherche est l\u2019engagement des ados \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de la litt\u00e9ratie num\u00e9rique et, par extension, des pratiques en STIM, en ce qui concerne les programmes d\u2019\u00e9tudes provinciaux au Canada. Les programmes d\u2019\u00e9tudes doivent \u00eatre adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 la culture et dirig\u00e9s par l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve, et int\u00e9grer un apprentissage concret et pratique \u00e9clair\u00e9 par une diversit\u00e9 de cultures, de langues, de valeurs et de connaissances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Une meilleure formation en DEAI devrait \u00eatre offerte aux futurs enseignants et enseignantes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Des \u00e9tudes montrent que la formation des enseignantes et enseignants en mati\u00e8re de DEAI est insuffisante. Les pratiques d\u2019enseignement centr\u00e9es sur l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve devraient int\u00e9grer la technologie dans la salle de classe et exiger une comp\u00e9tence culturelle antiraciste pour soutenir et communiquer efficacement afin de r\u00e9pondre aux divers besoins des \u00e9l\u00e8ves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Il faut cultiver les aspirations en regard des STIM chez les \u00e9l\u00e8ves de la maternelle \u00e0 la 12<sup>e&nbsp;<\/sup>ann\u00e9e<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les \u00e9l\u00e8ves marginalis\u00e9s par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 ont souvent du mal \u00e0 s\u2019identifier et \u00e0 se sentir \u00e0 leur place dans les STIM en raison de pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s et st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes. Les st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes et les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s dans les STIM doivent \u00eatre remis en question pour cr\u00e9er des environnements d\u2019apprentissage inclusifs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La r\u00e9forme de la politique \u00e9ducative doit s\u2019attaquer aux obstacles syst\u00e9miques \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le racisme structurel et la discrimination dans les politiques \u00e9ducatives continuent d\u2019avoir un impact n\u00e9gatif sur la diversit\u00e9 de la participation aux STIM. La future r\u00e9forme des politiques doit s\u2019attaquer aux obstacles et donner la priorit\u00e9 au bien-\u00eatre scolaire des \u00e9l\u00e8ves sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s. Des ressources et un financement ad\u00e9quats, ainsi que des politiques et une formation sans ambigu\u00eft\u00e9, devraient \u00eatre fournis pour accroitre la r\u00e9ussite des \u00e9l\u00e8ves et les opportunit\u00e9s.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les soutiens communautaires favorisent un sentiment d\u2019appartenance chez les \u00e9tudiants en STIM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les syst\u00e8mes de soutien et les liens communautaires sont essentiels pour accroitre l\u2019avancement des \u00e9l\u00e8ves sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans l\u2019enseignement des STIM et secteurs connexes.
