Ce rapport examine les exp\u00e9riences de membres de peuples autochtones occupant des postes de direction afin de comprendre les obstacles et les catalyseurs qui ont fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 leur parcours, ainsi que l\u2019incidence de la diversit\u00e9 en milieu de travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-midsize\">La diversit\u00e9 en milieu de travail am\u00e9liore la prise de d\u00e9cision et l\u2019engagement et l\u2019innovation au sein du march\u00e9\u2009; cependant, dans les entreprises canadiennes, le leadership manque de diversit\u00e9, les peuples autochtones et les membres des groupes 2ELGBTQ+ et d\u2019autres groupes m\u00e9ritant l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 \u00e9tant sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s. Un sondage men\u00e9 en 2020 dans le contexte de la Loi canadienne sur les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s par actions a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que dans 230 entreprises, seulement 1 % des postes aux conseils d\u2019administration \u00e9taient occup\u00e9s par des Autochtones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-midsize\">Cette \u00e9tude a men\u00e9 des entrevues approfondies avec 25 dirigeantes et dirigeants des Premi\u00e8res Nations, des M\u00e9tis et des Inuits. Les normes corporatives donnent la priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite individuelle et \u00e0 la communication assertive, tandis que le leadership autochtone met l\u2019accent sur la r\u00e9ussite communautaire, la narration, la collaboration et l\u2019intendance. Cela oblige les Autochtones occupant des postes de direction \u00e0 adapter leur style, perp\u00e9tuant ainsi le manque de mod\u00e8les.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"numbered-card__background\" style=\"background-color:#4e0047\"><\/div><div class=\"numbered-card__number\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-content-card\"><h3 class=\"numbered-card__title\" style=\"color:#4e0047\"><\/h3><div class=\"numbered-card__text\" style=\"color:#000000\"><p><strong>Adopter une approche intersectionnelle pour reconna\u00eetre les besoins des femmes autochtones<\/strong> \u2014 Les femmes autochtones sont confront\u00e9es \u00e0 des d\u00e9savantages li\u00e9s au genre et \u00e0 la race, et ont du mal \u00e0 \u00e9quilibrer leurs r\u00f4les professionnels et communautaires. Historiquement, elles occupaient des postes de direction au sein des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s matrilin\u00e9aires, mais la colonisation a min\u00e9 leurs r\u00f4les. Les milieux de travail modernes ne respectent souvent pas leur besoin d\u2019\u00e9quilibrer leurs engagements professionnels et personnels, ce qui compromet davantage leur potentiel de leadership.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"numbered-card__background\" style=\"background-color:#4e0047\"><\/div><div class=\"numbered-card__number\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-content-card\"><h3 class=\"numbered-card__title\" style=\"color:#4e0047\"><\/h3><div class=\"numbered-card__text\" style=\"color:#000000\"><p><strong>Cr\u00e9er des politiques propres aux Autochtones <\/strong>\u2014 Les politiques g\u00e9n\u00e9rales d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, de diversit\u00e9 et d\u2019inclusion sont insuffisantes. Les politiques propres aux Autochtones devraient promouvoir l\u2019embauche, le maintien en poste, les possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019avancement et la reconnaissance culturelle. Les organisations doivent faire participer les peuples autochtones \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9laboration des politiques.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"numbered-card__background\"
