Un secteur du bois massif prosp\u00e8re pourrait contribuer \u00e0 cr\u00e9er de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s pour de nombreuses communaut\u00e9s foresti\u00e8res (qui connaissent actuellement un d\u00e9clin), ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 construire des logements durables dans la province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2023, plus de 350 projets de bois massif ont \u00e9t\u00e9 construits (ou sont en cours de construction) dans toute la province. Le gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique pr\u00e9voit dix nouvelles installations dans la province d\u2019ici 2035, ce qui cr\u00e9era entre 2 350 et 4 200 nouveaux emplois, et soutient l\u2019initiative par le biais de son plan d\u2019action pour le bois massif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cependant, une \u00e9tape cl\u00e9 pour aider \u00e0 saisir ces avantages consiste \u00e0 comprendre comment cette opportunit\u00e9 \u00e9mergente modifiera les besoins en comp\u00e9tences des industries existantes : Dans quelle mesure la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre est-elle pr\u00e9par\u00e9e \u00e0 saisir cette opportunit\u00e9 ? Et comment l\u2019industrie, les gouvernements et les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement peuvent-ils aider cette main-d\u2019\u0153uvre, ainsi que les communaut\u00e9s plus rurales et d\u00e9pendantes des ressources naturelles dans le nord de la province, \u00e0 r\u00e9ussir ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/institut.intelliprosperite.ca\/?_ga=2.193226285.1444225669.1709735060-150353587.1709735060\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">L\u2019Institut pour l\u2019intelliProsperit\u00e9<\/a>, en partenariat avec le Centre des Comp\u00e9tences futures, a publi\u00e9 trois rapports explorant ces questions. Notre travail est le fruit d\u2019un processus de recherche d\u2019un an comprenant une analyse quantitative, des enqu\u00eates, des entretiens et des ateliers en personne dans les communaut\u00e9s de la province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>D\u00e9finir un avenir \u00e0 faible teneur en carbone pour la Colombie-Britannique : Identifier les besoins en comp\u00e9tences et en main-d\u2019\u0153uvre du secteur en pleine croissance du bois massif en Colombie-Britannique.<\/em> Ce rapport examine la cha\u00eene d\u2019approvisionnement en bois massif, de la sylviculture \u00e0 la construction, en Colombie-Britannique. Il identifie ce que la croissance du bois massif en Colombie-Britannique signifie pour la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre dans le contexte des exigences actuelles et futures en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Fabrication de bois massif dans le nord de la Colombie-Britannique : Une \u00e9valuation de l\u2019\u00e9tat de pr\u00e9paration de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre et des politiques visant \u00e0 produire davantage de bois massif dans le nord-est de la Colombie-Britannique <\/em>permet d\u2019\u00e9valuer l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me des comp\u00e9tences dans le nord-est de la province. Il compare l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me \u00e0 des r\u00e9ussites mondiales et identifie des solutions pour assurer le succ\u00e8s de la r\u00e9gion.\u00a0\u00a0<em>\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Besoins en comp\u00e9tences pour la production et l\u2019adoption de bois massif en Colombie-Britannique : Le sommaire \u00e0
