La derni\u00e8re vague du sondage, men\u00e9e au printemps 2022, r\u00e9v\u00e8le que ces exp\u00e9riences ont gagn\u00e9 en positivit\u00e9 au cours de la pand\u00e9mie. La majorit\u00e9 des personnes ayant travaill\u00e9 \u00e0 domicile indiquent pr\u00e9f\u00e9rer cet arrangement et vouloir le poursuivre une fois la pand\u00e9mie termin\u00e9e. En outre, la plupart des personnes qui souhaitent continuer \u00e0 travailler \u00e0 domicile pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent le faire de mani\u00e8re r\u00e9guli\u00e8re, plut\u00f4t qu\u2019occasionnelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce rapport se fonde sur les donn\u00e9es de la quatri\u00e8me vague du Sondage sur l\u2019emploi et les comp\u00e9tences. Les personnes qui occupent des emplois de bureau ou administratifs ou qui sont des professionnels ou des cadres, celles qui ont une formation universitaire et celles qui gagnent des revenus \u00e9lev\u00e9s sont plus susceptibles de travailler \u00e0 domicile en raison de la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les exp\u00e9riences continuent d\u2019\u00eatre plus positives que n\u00e9gatives pour les personnes qui travaillaient \u00e0 domicile pendant la pand\u00e9mie. En outre, entre la fin 2020 et le d\u00e9but 2022, les personnes qui travaillaient \u00e0 domicile sont devenues plus susceptibles de signaler des exp\u00e9riences positives, et moins susceptibles de signaler des exp\u00e9riences n\u00e9gatives. Ce constat s\u2019applique tant aux hommes qu\u2019aux femmes ainsi qu\u2019aux travailleurs appartenant \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents corps de m\u00e9tier. Dans le cas des parents, les exp\u00e9riences de travail \u00e0 domicile ont  \u00e9galement gagn\u00e9 en positivit\u00e9 (ou perdu en n\u00e9gativit\u00e9) par rapport aux premiers stades de la pand\u00e9mie; ce changement est particuli\u00e8rement notable dans le cas des m\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si, dans l\u2019ensemble, les pr\u00e9occupations concernant les r\u00e9percussions potentielles du travail \u00e0 domicile sur les carri\u00e8res ont diminu\u00e9, elles restent plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es que la moyenne chez les jeunes travailleurs, les travailleurs vivant avec un handicap et les Autochtones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le sondage montre \u00e9galement que certains travailleurs ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 choisir des emplois offrant une possibilit\u00e9 de t\u00e9l\u00e9travail ou \u00e0 r\u00e9organiser leur vie afin de profiter des nouvelles possibilit\u00e9s offertes par le travail \u00e0 domicile. Un peu plus d\u2019un travailleur sur dix d\u00e9clare avoir chang\u00e9 d\u2019emploi et trouv\u00e9 un nouvel emploi qui leur est plus facile \u00e0 exercer \u00e0 distance, et ce, depuis le d\u00e9but de la pand\u00e9mie. De plus, environ une personne sur dix a d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 vers une communaut\u00e9 diff\u00e9rente parce qu\u2019elle a maintenant la possibilit\u00e9 de travailler \u00e0 domicile. Ces choix sont plus courants chez les jeunes travailleurs et les personnes qui travaillent \u00e0 temps partiel, et moins courants chez les personnes qui sont plus \u00e9tablies dans leur carri\u00e8re. Ils sont \u00e9galement plus courants chez les personnes qui s\u2019identifient comme Autochtones et chez celles qui vivent avec un handicap qui limite occasionnellement leur activit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parmi les personnes qui travaillent \u00e0 domicile et qui souhaitent continuer de le faire, une majorit\u00e9 relative pr\u00e9f\u00e9rerait continuer le travail \u00e0 domicile presque tous les jours, et la plupart (deux sur trois personnes) pr\u00e9f\u00e9reraient rester \u00e0 domicile deux \u00e0 trois jours par semaine. Moins d\u2019une personne sur trois ne souhaite travailler \u00e0 domicile qu\u2019occasionnellement. La pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour du travail \u00e0 domicile la plupart du temps, plut\u00f4t qu\u2019occasionnellement, varie toutefois consid\u00e9rablement selon les groupes. La diff\u00e9rence la plus notable se situe au niveau de l\u2019\u00e2ge : les jeunes travailleurs sont beaucoup moins susceptibles de pr\u00e9f\u00e9rer travailler \u00e0 domicile de fa\u00e7on r\u00e9guli\u00e8re. La pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour le travail \u00e0 domicile sur une base r\u00e9guli\u00e8re est plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e chez les femmes que chez les hommes, et \u00e9galement chez les personnes n\u2019ayant pas d\u2019enfants que chez ceux qui en ont.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enfin, rien ne prouve que l\u2019exp\u00e9rience du travail \u00e0 domicile pendant la pand\u00e9mie soit associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une moins bonne sant\u00e9 mentale. En fait, c\u2019est le contraire : les personnes qui travaillaient \u00e0 leur lieu de travail habituel au d\u00e9but de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2022 sont un peu plus susceptibles de d\u00e9clarer une moins bonne sant\u00e9 mentale que celles qui travaillaient \u00e0 distance.
