			{"id":1827,"date":"2019-08-15T01:01:43","date_gmt":"2019-08-15T05:01:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fscccf.alphabureau.ca\/?post_type=research&#038;p=1827"},"modified":"2019-10-22T15:10:30","modified_gmt":"2019-10-22T19:10:30","slug":"les-stim-et-les-etudiants-autochtones","status":"publish","type":"research","link":"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/fr\/recherche\/les-stim-et-les-etudiants-autochtones\/","title":{"rendered":"Les STIM et les \u00e9tudiants autochtones"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"is-style-large-paragraph\">Encore aujourd\u2019hui, les Autochtones sont sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans les emplois en STIM et cette situation a une incidence politique et \u00e9conomique sur notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les Autochtones souhaitent \u00eatre mieux repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans cet important secteur et veulent que le savoir traditionnel soit int\u00e9gr\u00e9 aux programmes en STIM et aux professions connexes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/3.3.5-STEM-for-Indigenous-Learners-1024x512.png\" alt=\"Youth working together to plant a tree.\" class=\"wp-image-5432\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Les approches interculturelles pourraient favoriser la r\u00e9ussite scolaire des \u00e9tudiants autochtones dans ces domaines en plus d\u2019aider les enseignants et les professionnels des STIM \u00e0 mieux comprendre et \u00e0 mieux appr\u00e9cier les valeurs et les modes d\u2019apprentissage autochtones ainsi que le savoir traditionnel. Les enseignants cherchent \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir quelles approches fonctionnent bien dans l\u2019enseignement interculturel en STIM, mais \u00e0 l\u2019heure actuelle, les donn\u00e9es sont limit\u00e9es. De leur c\u00f4t\u00e9, les responsables des politiques publiques doivent savoir quelles m\u00e9thodes m\u00e9ritent d\u2019\u00eatre financ\u00e9es et lesquelles offrent le meilleur rendement du capital investi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce projet vise donc \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer les initiatives autochtones novatrices en STIM qui favorisent la r\u00e9ussite des \u00e9tudiants et \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir ce Pourtant, une fois arriv\u00e9s, beaucoup d\u2019immigrants se retrouvent sans emploi ou occupent un emploi qui exige un niveau de qualification inf\u00e9rieur au
