La quantit\u00e9 et la qualit\u00e9 des emplois ont \u00e9volu\u00e9 rapidement \u00e0 mesure que les lieux de travail s\u2019adaptaient aux nouvelles m\u00e9thodes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au cours de la derni\u00e8re ann\u00e9e, tous ces changements ont \u00e9t\u00e9 exacerb\u00e9s par la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19. Combien d\u2019emplois seront \u00e0 pourvoir? Dans quels domaines? Quels seront les niveaux d\u2019\u00e9ducation et de formation requis? Ce probl\u00e8me est d\u2019autant plus complexe que, si l\u2019\u00e9ducation demeure un pilier fondamental du perfectionnement de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre, les donn\u00e9es et les renseignements sur&nbsp; les comp\u00e9tences sont aujourd\u2019hui consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme essentiels \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite future du pays. Par cons\u00e9quent, il est indispensable d\u2019anticiper les besoins futurs du Canada en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Voici les trois principales approches de pr\u00e9vision des comp\u00e9tences futures :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pr\u00e9vision de l\u2019emploi par professions et mise en correspondance de ces donn\u00e9es avec les comp\u00e9tences associ\u00e9es<\/li><li>Pr\u00e9vision des comp\u00e9tences selon celles qui figurent dans les offres d\u2019emploi en ligne<\/li><li>Pr\u00e9vision des comp\u00e9tences selon celles qui figurent dans les offres d\u2019emploi en ligne<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>En se familiarisant avec ces approches g\u00e9n\u00e9rales de pr\u00e9vision des comp\u00e9tences et en comprenant les avantages et les limites de chacune, les particuliers et les organisations pourront prendre de meilleures d\u00e9cisions d\u2019investissement dans la formation et l\u2019\u00e9ducation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-dark-green-color\"><strong>Le fait que des comp\u00e9tences sont recherch\u00e9es ne signifie pas un d\u00e9ficit de ces comp\u00e9tences<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est possible d\u2019obtenir des renseignements sur l\u2019offre en mesurant directement les comp\u00e9tences individuelles au moyen de tests. La source la plus connue de donn\u00e9es sur les comp\u00e9tences obtenues au moyen de tests est le Programme pour l\u2019\u00e9valuation internationale des comp\u00e9tences des adultes (PEICA), qui mesure rigoureusement un petit nombre de comp\u00e9tences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales des particuliers (par exemple, la litt\u00e9ratie, la num\u00e9ratie et la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes) dans des environnements \u00e0 forte composante technologique. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que ces tests sont effectu\u00e9s peu fr\u00e9quemment et que leurs sp\u00e9cifications changent au fil du temps, il n\u2019est pas certain que les donn\u00e9es du PEICA et de sources similaires sur l\u2019offre peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es comme intrants dans les mod\u00e8les de pr\u00e9vision. Par ailleurs, il est possible d\u2019extraire des renseignements sur les comp\u00e9tences des CV mis en ligne, mais cela soul\u00e8ve des questions \u00e9thiques quant \u00e0 l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux donn\u00e9es personnelles et \u00e0 leur utilisation. En fin de compte, les pr\u00e9visions sur l\u2019offre de comp\u00e9tences repr\u00e9sentent une source importante de renseignements, qui doit \u00eatre am\u00e9lior\u00e9e en ce qui a trait aux types sp\u00e9cifiques des donn\u00e9es accessibles sur l\u2019offre. Chacune des trois approches de pr\u00e9vision comporte des avantages et des inconv\u00e9nients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-dark-green-color\"><strong>La voie \u00e0 suivre : trouver l\u2019\u00e9quilibre<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il n\u2019y a pas de \u00ab solution miracle \u00bb. Comme chacune d\u2019elles offre diff\u00e9rentes perspectives, il est utile de tirer des enseignements des trois approches et de les utiliser de mani\u00e8re compl\u00e9mentaire. Des recherches suppl\u00e9mentaires sont n\u00e9cessaires pour explorer la possibilit\u00e9 de combiner leurs forces. On pourrait par exemple utiliser les donn\u00e9es provenant d\u2019offres d\u2019emploi en ligne pour mettre en correspondance les avis d\u2019experts et les perspectives d\u2019\u00e9volution de la demande en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tences. Une autre possibilit\u00e9 serait de relier les perspectives professionnelles aux comp\u00e9tences demand\u00e9es dans les offres d\u2019emploi en ligne. Enfin, on pourrait utiliser les avis d\u2019experts pour d\u00e9gager des perspectives professionnelles fond\u00e9es sur des sc\u00e9narios qui refl\u00e8tent les \u00e9valuations qualitatives de ces experts quant aux perturbations futures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour soutenir l\u2019\u00e9laboration de pr\u00e9visions solides sur la demande en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tences, le Centre des Comp\u00e9tences futures et le Conseil de l\u2019information sur le march\u00e9 du travail ont lanc\u00e9 un projet visant \u00e0 doter les organismes de premi\u00e8re ligne des outils et des connaissances n\u00e9cessaires pour aider les Canadiens \u00e0 orienter leurs choix de carri\u00e8re.
