Les animateurs de ces programmes sont souvent des \u00e9tudiants de niveau postsecondaire qui \u00e9tudient les STGM, des chercheurs en STGM, des professionnels des STGM ou des communicateurs scientifiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans <em>Apprendre ensemble : Programmes de sensibilisation aux STGM pour les \u00e9l\u00e8ves autochtones<\/em>, nous nous sommes int\u00e9ress\u00e9s aux programmes STGM gratuits, non administr\u00e9s par le syst\u00e8me d\u2019\u00e9ducation officiel, qui ciblent les enfants autochtones de la maternelle \u00e0 la 12e ann\u00e9e. Il n\u2019est pas encore bien \u00e9tabli si ces programmes ont un impact \u00e0 long terme sur l\u2019\u00e9ducation et les choix de carri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"bucket-block__item bucket-item \">\n\t\t<div class=\"bucket-item__number\">2<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"bucket-item__content\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"bucket-item__text\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Les organisations savent qu\u2019il est essentiel d\u2019\u00e9tablir des relations respectueuses d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part. Nombre d\u2019entre elles travaillent avec des organismes d\u2019accueil potentiels \u2013 et certaines avec les jeunes eux-m\u00eames \u2013 pour concevoir leurs programmes.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div><div class=\"bucket-block__item bucket-item \">\n\t\t<div class=\"bucket-item__number\">3<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"bucket-item__content\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"bucket-item__text\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Les programmes de sensibilisation visent \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l\u2019\u00e9ducation et la repr\u00e9sentation autochtones dans les domaines des STGM (sciences, technologies, g\u00e9nie et math\u00e9matiques). Ces programmes visent \u00e0 exposer les enfants et les jeunes \u00e0 des mod\u00e8les de r\u00f4le dans les STGM et \u00e0 des possibilit\u00e9s de carri\u00e8re dans les domaines des STGM.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">R\u00e9sum\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 une conversation d\u2019envergure nationale sur la r\u00e9conciliation, les gouvernements, le syst\u00e8me d\u2019\u00e9ducation officiel et les organisations sans but lucratif s\u2019efforcent de combler les lacunes en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9ducation et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la repr\u00e9sentation des peuples autochtones dans les domaines des sciences, des technologies, du g\u00e9nie et des math\u00e9matiques (STGM) en leur accordant une attention et des ressources suppl\u00e9mentaires. Cette prise de conscience, combin\u00e9e \u00e0 une attention accrue aux questions d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 dans les STGM, a permis d\u2019intensifier les efforts pour faire conna\u00eetre les STGM aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves autochtones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les programmes de sensibilisation aux STGM doivent reposer sur des partenariats solides. Ces relations doivent reconna\u00eetre les forces et les d\u00e9fis uniques de chaque communaut\u00e9. Elles reposent sur une communication continue et respectueuse, la confiance et la recherche de consensus. Il ne faut pas sous-estimer le temps, les ressources et les capacit\u00e9s interculturelles n\u00e9cessaires d\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9 comme de l\u2019autre du partenariat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour les besoins du pr\u00e9sent document d\u2019analyse, nous nous sommes int\u00e9ress\u00e9s aux programmes en STGM gratuits, ne relevant pas du syst\u00e8me d\u2019\u00e9ducation officiel, qui ciblent les enfants autochtones de la maternelle \u00e0 la 12e ann\u00e9e.
