Si tous les secteurs subissent une p\u00e9nurie de travailleurs dot\u00e9s de comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques, certains, comme l\u2019agriculture et la transformation des aliments et boissons, peinent particuli\u00e8rement \u00e0 attirer et \u00e0 retenir les talents.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parall\u00e8lement, les \u00e9tudiants canadiens et internationaux se heurtent \u00e0 des obstacles majeurs durant leur parcours d\u2019\u00e9tudes et de carri\u00e8re en STIM. Au Canada, les \u00e9tudiants canadiens se heurtent souvent \u00e0 une pr\u00e9paration lacunaire au secondaire, le syst\u00e8me scolaire ne parvenant pas toujours \u00e0 leur inculquer des bases solides en STIM. Les \u00e9tudiants internationaux se heurtent \u00e0 des obstacles additionnels pour s\u2019\u00e9tablir au Canada apr\u00e8s leurs \u00e9tudes, notamment <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdhowe.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Commentary_626_0.pdf\">la non-reconnaissance de leurs titres de comp\u00e9tences, les complexit\u00e9s li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019obtention de la r\u00e9sidence permanente <\/a>et<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdhowe.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Commentary_626_0.pdf\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/ojed.org\/jcihe\">les d\u00e9fis d\u2019int\u00e9gration culturelle<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les programmes d\u2019apprentissage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au travail (AIT) servent de levier pour permettre aux individus d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir des comp\u00e9tences et de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience, tout en harmonisant les besoins des employeurs avec le profil des dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s qui int\u00e8grent le march\u00e9 du travail. Toutefois, on reproche souvent \u00e0 ces programmes le <a href=\"https:\/\/heqco.ca\/pub\/student-identity-and-work-integrated-learning-wil-exploring-student-experiences-of-wil-by-demographic\/\">manque de donn\u00e9es sur la diversit\u00e9<\/a> ou l\u2019absence de mesures de soutien globales adapt\u00e9es aux groupes en qu\u00eate d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, comme les <a href=\"https:\/\/wilresearch.uwaterloo.ca\/Resource\/View\/3211\">personnes en situation de handicap<\/a> et les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ijwil.org\/files\/IJWIL_23_2_139_152.pdf\">peuples autochtones<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le programme IntegratED a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour combler les lacunes en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tences et relever les d\u00e9fis du march\u00e9 du travail dans le secteur de la transformation alimentaire au Manitoba. Il offre des formations et des exp\u00e9riences de travail visant \u00e0 soutenir les \u00e9tudiants internationaux et les nouveaux arrivants r\u00e9cemment dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s en STIM. Con\u00e7u en collaboration avec 27&nbsp;employeurs et partenaires \u00e9ducatifs manitobains, ce programme vise le perfectionnement, l\u2019int\u00e9gration et la r\u00e9tention des \u00e9tudiants internationaux et des nouveaux dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s immigrants en STIM, en s\u2019attaquant aux barri\u00e8res \u00e0 l\u2019emploi tout au long de leur parcours.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le programme IntegratED comporte deux volets&nbsp;: Projets en entreprise et stages du Programme canadien d\u2019adoption du num\u00e9rique (PCAN). Chaque volet offrait une formation professionnelle, une exp\u00e9rience de travail et un soutien global afin de faire le pont entre les acquis acad\u00e9miques et les r\u00e9alit\u00e9s du terrain, tout en permettant aux \u00e9tudiants internationaux et aux nouveaux arrivants d\u2019int\u00e9grer le march\u00e9 du travail canadien.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les participants et les employeurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 convi\u00e9s \u00e0 soumettre leurs commentaires au d\u00e9but et \u00e0 la fin du programme, par voie de sondages et d\u2019entrevues. Ces donn\u00e9es ont servi \u00e0 analyser les r\u00e9ussites et les d\u00e9fis du programme et \u00e0 orienter les am\u00e9liorations futures concernant la mise en \u0153uvre des opportunit\u00e9s d\u2019apprentissage en milieu professionnel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9valuation a port\u00e9 sur les questions suivantes&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Le programme IntegratED a-t-il favoris\u00e9, chez les \u00e9tudiants internationaux, le r\u00e9seautage professionnel, l\u2019acquisition de comp\u00e9tences en planification de carri\u00e8re et l\u2019employabilit\u00e9 au sein du march\u00e9 canadien\u2009?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le programme IntegratED a-t-il permis d\u2019am\u00e9liorer l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la rel\u00e8ve et aux ressources d\u2019orientation pour les PME manitobaines du secteur des STIM\u2009?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les employeurs ont-ils resserr\u00e9 leurs liens avec les \u00e9tablissements postsecondaires\u2009? La participation au programme IntegratED a-t-elle contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation des objectifs de l\u2019entreprise\u2009?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats issus du projet sont les suivants&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Au total, 149&nbsp;personnes ont pris part aux deux volets du programme, soit les projets en entreprise et le PCAN. Le programme a g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 114&nbsp;placements, r\u00e9partis entre 83&nbsp;\u00e9tudiants internationaux et 31&nbsp;nouveaux arrivants r\u00e9cemment dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les projets en entreprise et les stages du PCAN ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9labor\u00e9s pour pallier les d\u00e9fis relev\u00e9s par les employeurs et les \u00e9tablissements postsecondaires. On constate en effet que les dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s peinent souvent \u00e0 ma\u00eetriser tant les comp\u00e9tences techniques que les comp\u00e9tences transversales, comme la communication, l\u2019esprit critique et le travail d\u2019\u00e9quipe.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le volet \u00ab projets en entreprise \u00bb a \u00e9galement permis d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir et de mettre en pratique des comp\u00e9tences sp\u00e9cifiques au secteur. Dans le cadre de ce programme, les \u00e9tudiants ont mis en pratique leurs connaissances en sciences, technologie, ing\u00e9nierie et math\u00e9matiques (STEM), ont acquis une exp\u00e9rience professionnelle dans le secteur agroalimentaire du Manitoba et ont aid\u00e9 des PME \u00e0 atteindre leurs objectifs commerciaux.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Au total, 23&nbsp;employeurs du secteur agroalimentaire ont propos\u00e9 46&nbsp;projets d\u2019apprentissage en milieu professionnel dans le domaine des STIM. Plus de 215&nbsp;PME participant aux stages du PCAN se sont engag\u00e9es \u00e0 optimiser leurs strat\u00e9gies d\u2019adoption du num\u00e9rique.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>La conception, la prestation et les r\u00e9sultats du programme IntegratED nous permettent de mieux comprendre les meilleures pratiques en mati\u00e8re d\u2019apprentissage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au travail (AIT) et d\u2019int\u00e9gration professionnelle pour les \u00e9tudiants internationaux et les nouveaux arrivants en STIM. Ce programme offre de riches enseignements pour les futures initiatives d\u2019AIT, particuli\u00e8rement celles visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l\u2019acc\u00e8s au march\u00e9 du travail et la mobilit\u00e9 sociale des groupes en qu\u00eate d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 au Canada. Par exemple&nbsp;:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Les mod\u00e8les d\u2019apprentissage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au travail (AIT) inclusifs, particuli\u00e8rement ceux qui int\u00e8grent les principes d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, de diversit\u00e9 et d\u2019inclusion (EDI), constituent un levier efficace pour soutenir les groupes en qu\u00eate d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, notamment les \u00e9tudiants internationaux et les nouveaux arrivants. Il reste encore beaucoup \u00e0 faire pour saisir l\u2019incidence des divers mod\u00e8les d\u2019apprentissage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au travail (AIT) sur les diff\u00e9rents groupes en qu\u00eate d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les partenariats entre l\u2019industrie et le milieu postsecondaire sont essentiels pour offrir aux \u00e9tudiants des occasions d\u2019accro\u00eetre leur pr\u00e9paration au march\u00e9 du travail. Cette approche assure \u00e9galement une orientation ax\u00e9e sur l\u2019emploi, permettant d\u2019harmoniser les occasions de formation et de placement avec le milieu postsecondaire et les besoins des employeurs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Une conception ax\u00e9e sur la r\u00e9troaction it\u00e9rative permet un suivi en temps r\u00e9el, souligne les points \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer et garantit que les occasions offertes correspondent aux besoins des employeurs.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bien que les programmes destin\u00e9s aux \u00e9tudiants internationaux et aux nouveaux arrivants soient essentiels, ils gagneraient \u00e0 \u00eatre renforc\u00e9s. En 2022, le secteur agricole du Manitoba comptait environ <a href=\"https:\/\/cahrc-ccrha.ca\/sites\/default\/files\/2024-03\/ProvMB-Factsheet_2024-EN.pdf\">1\u2009300&nbsp;postes vacants<\/a>. Cette p\u00e9nurie devrait s\u2019accentuer de 13&nbsp;%, ce qui repr\u00e9sentera plus de <a href=\"https:\/\/cahrc-ccrha.ca\/sites\/default\/files\/2024-03\/ProvMB-Factsheet_2024-EN.pdf\">1\u2009900&nbsp;postes vacants d\u2019ici 2030<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 une forte demande de talents, les \u00e9tudiants canadiens et internationaux au pays se heurtent \u00e0 des obstacles dans leur parcours d\u2019\u00e9tudes et de carri\u00e8re en STIM. Les \u00e9tudiants canadiens font souvent face \u00e0 une pr\u00e9paration insuffisante au secondaire, le syst\u00e8me d\u2019\u00e9ducation ne leur offrant pas toujours des bases solides dans les disciplines des STIM, comme les math\u00e9matiques et les sciences. Bien qu\u2019ils soient nombreux \u00e0 choisir les fili\u00e8res des STIM au niveau postsecondaire, les \u00e9tudiants internationaux font face \u00e0 des barri\u00e8res syst\u00e9miques au maintien en poste apr\u00e8s l\u2019obtention du dipl\u00f4me. L\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/ojed.org\/jcihe\">acc\u00e8s difficile \u00e0 la r\u00e9sidence permanente, l\u2019int\u00e9gration culturelle et les biais discriminatoires \u00e0 l\u2019embauche freinent leur int\u00e9gration au march\u00e9 du travail canadien.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le programme IntegratED a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour combler les lacunes en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tences et relever les d\u00e9fis du march\u00e9 du travail dans le secteur canadien de la fabrication d\u2019aliments et de boissons. Les entrevues ont fait ressortir l\u2019importance des comp\u00e9tences techniques, des comp\u00e9tences transversales et des connaissances propres au secteur. Ces constatations ont permis de concevoir un programme offrant aux \u00e9tudiants internationaux et aux nouveaux dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s issus de l\u2019immigration l\u2019occasion de mettre en application leurs acquis acad\u00e9miques dans des milieux de travail r\u00e9els.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>R\u00e9troaction it\u00e9rative et conception de programmes<\/strong><br>Le programme IntegratED a utilis\u00e9 diverses m\u00e9thodes de collecte de donn\u00e9es afin d\u2019obtenir une r\u00e9troaction en temps r\u00e9el, notamment par le biais de sondages annuels, de sondages post-programme et d\u2019entrevues.
