de co-cr\u00e9er et de piloter un programme r\u00e9gional d&#8217;incubation et d&#8217;acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration ax\u00e9 sur l&#8217;\u00e9quit\u00e9 pour les entreprises sociales et \u00e0 impact social. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins uniques et vari\u00e9s des entrepreneurs sociaux, des acteurs de changement et des leaders communautaires racis\u00e9s ou nouveaux arrivants, plus particuli\u00e8rement ceux qui s\u2019investissent dans des initiatives de transformation des syst\u00e8mes. Le programme visait les dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s des programmes d&#8217;id\u00e9ation de RADIUS, notamment le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfu.ca\/radius\/programs\/refugee-livelihood-lab.html\">Refugee Livelihood Lab<\/a> et le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfu.ca\/radius\/programs\/health-equity-action-lab.html\">Health Equity Lab<\/a>, ainsi que d&#8217;autres membres de la communaut\u00e9 r\u00e9pondant au profil des participants. Le projet visait \u00e0 explorer des questions cl\u00e9s li\u00e9es \u00e0 la formation de cohortes d&#8217;apprentissage : devaient-elles \u00eatre regroup\u00e9es par stade d&#8217;avancement de l&#8217;entreprise ou par exp\u00e9riences partag\u00e9es? Il s&#8217;agissait \u00e9galement de cerner les besoins particuliers des participants r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s et nouveaux arrivants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><br>Au terme du projet, RADIUS avait pour objectif de mobiliser plus de 100 membres de la communaut\u00e9 pour orienter la conception du programme, d&#8217;animer des ateliers de co-cr\u00e9ation avec diverses parties prenantes et de mettre \u00e0 l&#8217;essai plus de 10 nouvelles m\u00e9thodes de soutien centr\u00e9es sur l&#8217;\u00e9quit\u00e9. Le projet visait \u00e0 offrir au moins 50 heures additionnelles de coaching individuel \u00e0 15 fondateurs et \u00e9quipes racis\u00e9s, afin de cr\u00e9er des espaces de coaching inclusifs et propices \u00e0 la r\u00e9flexion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><br>Le projet a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que le programme initial n\u00e9cessitait des ajustements majeurs pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins uniques des innovateurs nouveaux arrivants, des personnes ing\u00e9nieuses et comp\u00e9tentes, mais souvent mal desservies par les approches conventionnelles. Les t\u00e9moignages des participants ont mis en \u00e9vidence l&#8217;importance de d\u00e9finir des groupes en fonction de valeurs et de principes communs plut\u00f4t qu&#8217;en fonction du stade de d\u00e9veloppement de l&#8217;entreprise. La confiance et la dimension relationnelle ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9es comme des piliers de la r\u00e9ussite d&#8217;un programme d&#8217;acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration, particuli\u00e8rement pour les fondateurs qui doivent souvent naviguer et justifier leurs valeurs et leur \u00e9thique culturelles au sein des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes entrepreneuriaux traditionnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><br>Afin de capitaliser sur les r\u00e9sultats du premier cycle de financement, l&#8217;\u00e9quipe a concentr\u00e9 ses efforts sur la production d&#8217;un documentaire illustrant l&#8217;int\u00e9gration de l&#8217;\u00e9quit\u00e9 dans les principes de conception entrepreneuriale, ainsi que sur la cr\u00e9ation d&#8217;un service de conciergerie en innovation sociale pour les entrepreneurs racis\u00e9s. Le format de la formation \u00e9tait hybride, combinant des sessions en pr\u00e9sentiel dans la r\u00e9gion m\u00e9tropolitaine de Vancouver et des modules en ligne, afin de r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des participants et de respecter les directives en vigueur en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group key-insights-grey has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#0000000d\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Perspectives cl\u00e9s<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px;margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No.svg\" alt=\"\">Plus d&#8217;une centaine de membres de la communaut\u00e9 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9s \u00e0 participer \u00e0 la conception du programme de l&#8217;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur et \u00e0 son projet pilote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-1.svg\" alt=\"\">Communiquer les valeurs du programme contribue \u00e0 instaurer un climat de confiance et \u00e0 d\u00e9finir clairement les attentes avec les participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-2.svg\" alt=\"\">Les participants ont consid\u00e9r\u00e9 le service de conciergerie entrepreneuriale, offert individuellement en personne ou par t\u00e9l\u00e9phone, comme l&#8217;un des aspects les plus b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques du programme.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"the-issue\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheChallenge\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240812\" style=\"width: 12px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vector-2.svg\" alt=\"\"> L\u2019enjeu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group flex-print is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Les acteurs de changement racis\u00e9s et les nouveaux arrivants du Grand Vancouver font face \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis uniques au sein de l&#8217;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me entrepreneurial; ils requi\u00e8rent un soutien personnalis\u00e9 qui refl\u00e8te leur v\u00e9cu et leur parcours. C&#8217;\u00e9tait d&#8217;autant plus crucial dans le Grand Vancouver, une r\u00e9gion qui se distingue par la diversit\u00e9 de sa population, incluant une proportion importante d&#8217;immigrants et de personnes racis\u00e9es. Les m\u00e9canismes de soutien actuels ne r\u00e9pondaient pas ad\u00e9quatement aux besoins de ces communaut\u00e9s, d\u2019o\u00f9 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de concevoir un programme centr\u00e9 sur l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 et adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 leur r\u00e9alit\u00e9 sp\u00e9cifique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Historiquement, les programmes de soutien \u00e0 l&#8217;entrepreneuriat ont adopt\u00e9 une approche universelle qui ne tient pas toujours compte du v\u00e9cu distinct des entrepreneurs racis\u00e9s et nouveaux arrivants. Ces programmes manquaient souvent de personnalisation et de sensibilit\u00e9 culturelle, des \u00e9l\u00e9ments pourtant cruciaux pour lever les obstacles syst\u00e9miques auxquels ces groupes sont confront\u00e9s. Ce programme visait \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux besoins uniques des fondateurs, leaders et \u00e9quipes racis\u00e9s nouvellement arriv\u00e9s dans le Grand Vancouver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La phase initiale du projet s&#8217;est articul\u00e9e autour de plusieurs questions de recherche fondamentales, visant \u00e0 renforcer l&#8217;int\u00e9gration et le soutien des nouveaux arrivants racis\u00e9s et des artisans du changement dans le Grand Vancouver. Les principales questions de recherche explor\u00e9es \u00e9taient les suivantes :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Comment les cohortes d&#8217;apprentissage devraient-elles \u00eatre structur\u00e9es : en fonction du stade d&#8217;avancement et des besoins, ou selon un v\u00e9cu partag\u00e9 ?<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Quels sont les avantages et les contraintes de ces formations de cohortes ?<\/em><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Par ailleurs, le projet cherchait \u00e0 comprendre les besoins uniques des participants r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s et nouveaux arrivants, et \u00e0 \u00e9valuer si ces besoins pouvaient \u00eatre combl\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re optimale au sein de cohortes mixtes ou de cohortes sur mesure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les objectifs de la phase initiale consistaient \u00e0 traduire les perspectives de la communaut\u00e9 en concepts de programmes, \u00e0 piloter de nouveaux ateliers et mod\u00e8les de cohortes, et \u00e0 d\u00e9gager des enseignements sur les pratiques exemplaires et les points \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer. Cette d\u00e9cision s&#8217;appuie sur une \u00e9valuation interne et des consultations men\u00e9es aupr\u00e8s de la communaut\u00e9. Le projet a pilot\u00e9 diverses structures de cohortes et diverses modalit\u00e9s de soutien afin d&#8217;identifier les approches les plus probantes pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins sp\u00e9cifiques de ce segment d\u00e9mographique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La m\u00e9thodologie adopt\u00e9e consistait en une conception co-cr\u00e9ative, impliquant les parties prenantes dans l&#8217;\u00e9laboration du programme. Cette d\u00e9marche incluait des ateliers de co-conception et la mise en place de boucles de r\u00e9troaction constante avec les participants. S\u2019\u00e9tendant d\u2019octobre 2022 \u00e0 septembre 2023, le projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 jalonn\u00e9 d\u2019activit\u00e9s cl\u00e9s, notamment la conception de nouveaux ateliers et mod\u00e8les d\u2019accompagnement issus des r\u00e9troactions et des enseignements d\u00e9gag\u00e9s lors des phases initiales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lors de sa phase initiale, l&#8217;initiative comptait parmi les sept projets du R\u00e9seau d&#8217;incubation (2023). Ce programme du Centre des Comp\u00e9tences futures (CCF) vise \u00e0 instaurer un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me favorable \u00e0 la collaboration pancanadienne entre innovateurs de l&#8217;int\u00e9gration des nouveaux arrivants, tout en ciblant et en r\u00e9solvant les enjeux de mise en \u0153uvre des projets financ\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2024, le second volet du projet a port\u00e9 sur l&#8217;\u00e9valuation des retomb\u00e9es des cohortes 2023-2024 et sur la production d&#8217;un court-m\u00e9trage documentaire illustrant l&#8217;int\u00e9gration de l&#8217;\u00e9quit\u00e9 au sein des programmes d&#8217;acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration. Lors du second volet du projet, le service de conciergerie en innovation sociale a accompagn\u00e9 58 participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les ateliers de co-cr\u00e9ation et les cycles de r\u00e9troaction communautaire s&#8217;appuient avant tout sur un lien de confiance, dont le d\u00e9veloppement exige du temps.<\/strong> Ces s\u00e9ances doivent respecter les priorit\u00e9s personnelles des membres de la communaut\u00e9 et ne peuvent s&#8217;\u00e9panouir sous la contrainte ou la pression. Il est imp\u00e9ratif de valoriser le temps et les contributions des participants, que ce soit par une compensation financi\u00e8re ou d&#8217;autres formes de reconnaissance,afin de soutenir leur mobilisation et leur investissement durable dans la d\u00e9marche. Ainsi, l&#8217;un des enseignements phares de ce projet r\u00e9side dans l&#8217;importance de la confiance et de la relationnalit\u00e9 pour offrir des programmes qui r\u00e9sonnent v\u00e9ritablement avec les r\u00e9alit\u00e9s des communaut\u00e9s racis\u00e9es. Le dispositif de r\u00e9troaction a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les participants valorisaient le fait d&#8217;\u00eatre entendus et mobilis\u00e9s selon une approche respectueuse de leur v\u00e9cu et de leurs parcours respectifs. Ce constat est devenu particuli\u00e8rement frappant lorsqu\u2019un participant a affirm\u00e9 : \u00ab Je n\u2019ai pas besoin qu\u2019on me fasse la le\u00e7on. J&#8217;ai besoin d&#8217;\u00eatre entendu \u00bb, ce qui met en relief la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de concevoir des programmes agiles et \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9coute, plut\u00f4t que des mod\u00e8les prescriptifs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La transparence entourant les valeurs du programme permet d&#8217;\u00e9tablir des attentes claires.<\/strong> L\u2019\u00e9quipe de projet a observ\u00e9 que son parti pris de diffuser ouvertement les valeurs et les principes du programme, bien qu\u2019initialement per\u00e7u comme audacieux, a finalement re\u00e7u un accueil favorable. Cette transparence communicationnelle a favoris\u00e9 l&#8217;\u00e9tablissement d&#8217;attentes claires tout en consolidant le lien de confiance avec les participants. Cette d\u00e9marche a \u00e9galement favoris\u00e9 une approche plus inclusive et participative, permettant au savoir exp\u00e9rientiel des participants de fa\u00e7onner le programme de mani\u00e8re constructive. Le projet a toutefois d\u00fb composer avec la difficult\u00e9 d&#8217;harmoniser les discours de la communaut\u00e9 et ceux des bailleurs de fonds, ces deux univers divergeant parfois consid\u00e9rablement. Cette tension a mis en relief le d\u00e9fi constant que repr\u00e9sente la conciliation des exigences des bailleurs de fonds avec le maintien d&#8217;un ancrage fid\u00e8le aux valeurs communautaires. Des questionnements ont \u00e9merg\u00e9 quant \u00e0 l&#8217;allocation des ressources et \u00e0 la transparence publique, soulignant l&#8217;imp\u00e9ratif d&#8217;une communication accrue et d&#8217;un meilleur alignement entre les intentions du projet et les attentes de la communaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cr\u00e9er un espace pour une conception intentionnelle et l\u2019implication des parties prenantes exige plus de temps et de ressources que ce que les mod\u00e8les de financement de projets ne permettent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement.<\/strong> Les programmes partent souvent du principe que les relations et les visions du monde sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 en phase, mais c&#8217;est rarement le cas. Le tissage de ces liens exige un engagement intentionnel qui s&#8217;inscrit bien au-del\u00e0 des \u00e9ch\u00e9anciers standard impos\u00e9s par la majorit\u00e9 des subventions. Par ailleurs, la r\u00e9ussite des programmes ax\u00e9s sur l&#8217;\u00e9quit\u00e9 repose sur une capacit\u00e9 humaine suffisante ; il est donc crucial de budg\u00e9tiser plus d&#8217;un poste \u00e0 temps plein pour garantir la p\u00e9rennit\u00e9 et l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 du d\u00e9ploiement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Un accompagnement individualis\u00e9 permet de limiter l&#8217;attrition et de renforcer l&#8217;engagement des participants tout au long du programme.<\/strong> Par exemple, effectuer un suivi aupr\u00e8s d&#8217;un participant absent et discuter des obstacles ayant pu causer son absence permet souvent de pr\u00e9venir d&#8217;autres d\u00e9sistements. Cette tendance s\u2019est confirm\u00e9e durant la deuxi\u00e8me phase du projet : les participants ont soulign\u00e9 la justesse du documentaire sur l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 ainsi que la pertinence du service de conciergerie, dont l\u2019accompagnement personnalis\u00e9 s\u2019est av\u00e9r\u00e9 aussi accessible qu\u2019essentiel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Le format documentaire s\u2019av\u00e8re \u00eatre un levier puissant pour sensibiliser le public aux services de soutien destin\u00e9s aux nouveaux arrivants et ancr\u00e9s dans l&#8217;\u00e9quit\u00e9.<\/strong> Le documentaire a v\u00e9ritablement inspir\u00e9 les membres de la communaut\u00e9, tout en illustrant les principes fondamentaux d&#8217;une approche centr\u00e9e sur l&#8217;humain. L\u2019\u00e9quipe de projet souhaitait que le documentaire encourage les prestataires de services \u00e0 int\u00e9grer des pratiques d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 rigoureuses, afin de favoriser, \u00e0 terme, la r\u00e9silience \u00e9conomique des nouveaux arrivants. Les instances d\u00e9cisionnelles gagneraient \u00e0 concevoir des cadres financiers plus flexibles, offrant aux organisations la latitude n\u00e9cessaire pour d\u00e9ployer des programmes v\u00e9ritablement ancr\u00e9s dans les principes d&#8217;\u00e9quit\u00e9 et d&#8217;inclusion. Concr\u00e8tement, cela implique d&#8217;utiliser et de mettre au point des m\u00e9thodologies plus personnalis\u00e9es et mieux adapt\u00e9es au contexte culturel lors de la conception et de la mise en \u0153uvre des programmes. Par ailleurs, l\u2019accent mis sur les liens relationnels et la culture de la confiance met en lumi\u00e8re le besoin de politiques privil\u00e9giant le tissage de relations durables plut\u00f4t que la simple atteinte de r\u00e9sultats transactionnels \u00e0 court terme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans la pratique, l&#8217;approche adopt\u00e9e par le projet, qui consiste \u00e0 constituer des groupes d&#8217;apprentissage en fonction d&#8217;exp\u00e9riences communes plut\u00f4t que du simple stade de d\u00e9veloppement de l&#8217;entreprise ou de crit\u00e8res d\u00e9mographiques sp\u00e9cifiques, offre un mod\u00e8le pr\u00e9cieux pour d&#8217;autres organisations.
