l\u2019appui du Signal49 Recherche, le Conseil des fabricants de bois (CFB) a lanc\u00e9 le projet de mise en correspondance des comp\u00e9tences et des d\u00e9bouch\u00e9s dans le secteur de travail du bois dans le but de combler le foss\u00e9 entre les aspirations des demandeurs d\u2019emploi en qu\u00eate de transition vers une carri\u00e8re viable et int\u00e9ressante et les d\u00e9fis de recrutement dans le secteur de travail du bois. Au moyen d\u2019OpportuAvenir, l\u2019outil de transition de carri\u00e8re du Signal49, le projet a mis en \u00e9vidence les possibilit\u00e9s de transition de carri\u00e8re depuis d\u2019autres secteurs vers le secteur de travail du bois, faisant gros plan sur les r\u00f4les offrant des perspectives d\u2019emploi prometteuses et un potentiel d\u2019avancement. Le CFB pr\u00e9voit de continuer d\u2019utiliser les renseignements relatifs \u00e0 la mise en correspondance des comp\u00e9tences pour cibler d\u2019autres professions et attirer un plus grand nombre de candidats vers le secteur de travail du bois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019initiative du CFB visait \u00e0 promouvoir la diversit\u00e9 des possibilit\u00e9s de carri\u00e8re dans le secteur de la fabrication de produits d\u2019articles, en soulignant la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019un large \u00e9ventail de comp\u00e9tences. Les efforts de cr\u00e9ation et de mise \u00e0 jour des supports de sensibilisation aux carri\u00e8res ont re\u00e7u l\u2019appui des employeurs du secteur, des \u00e9ducateurs et des associations sectorielles qui ont mis \u00e0 contribution leur savoir-faire, donn\u00e9 acc\u00e8s \u00e0 leurs installations et ouvert leurs r\u00e9seaux relationnels. Ces parties prenantes ont facilit\u00e9 les visites d\u2019usines, les exp\u00e9riences professionnelles et les pr\u00e9sentations lors de salons de recrutement, donnant ainsi une impulsion aux efforts de recrutement du secteur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">De plus, les agences de placement, les centres de carri\u00e8re et les groupes communautaires ont jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le essentiel en diss\u00e9minant les informations sur les carri\u00e8res et en organisant des s\u00e9ances de renseignement pour pr\u00e9senter aux demandeurs d\u2019emploi les carri\u00e8res dans la fabrication d\u2019articles en bois et les programmes de formation connexes. Cette initiative vise \u00e0 faciliter la transition des personnes qui occupent des postes mal r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s et \u00e0 risque \u00e9lev\u00e9, n\u00e9cessitant un minimum de recyclage ou de perfectionnement des comp\u00e9tences, vers des postes plus stables dans le secteur de travail du bois. En recensant les professions dans d\u2019autres secteurs ayant des comp\u00e9tences transf\u00e9rables, le projet a cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 attirer une main-d\u2019\u0153uvre diversifi\u00e9e dans le secteur de travail du bois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet a utilis\u00e9 la plateforme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opportunext.ca\/fr\/\">OpportuAvenir<\/a> du Signal49 Recherche, pour promouvoir la transition de carri\u00e8re pour les Canadiens et Canadiennes en rep\u00e9rant les d\u00e9bouch\u00e9s qui correspondent \u00e0 leurs comp\u00e9tences, \u00e0 leur formation et \u00e0 leur exp\u00e9rience, mettre l\u2019opinion en \u00e9veil sur le secteur de travail du bois et attirer des particuliers, notamment ceux issus des groupes sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s qui disposent de comp\u00e9tences transf\u00e9rables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019aide d\u2019OpportuAvenir, Signal49 a pu mettre en correspondance 135\u00a0emplois dans sept cat\u00e9gories avec des professions dans le secteur de travail du bois. Le CFB a choisi de viser trois cat\u00e9gories d\u2019emplois\u00a0: les \u00e9b\u00e9nistes, les architectes d\u2019int\u00e9rieur et les d\u00e9corateurs, ainsi que les classeurs de bois d\u00e9bit\u00e9 et autres v\u00e9rificateurs et classeurs dans la transformation du bois. OpportuAvenir a \u00e9galement servi \u00e0 cerner les professions pr\u00e9sentant des comp\u00e9tences et une formation similaires vers lesquelles le CFB pourrait se tourner pour \u00e9largir le rayon de ses efforts de recrutement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet a utilis\u00e9 les r\u00e9sultats de la mise en correspondance des comp\u00e9tences pour r\u00e9diger et distribuer les documents de recrutement et faire des pr\u00e9sentations dans les \u00e9coles et les salons de l\u2019emploi en vue de promouvoir le secteur et de cibler les communaut\u00e9s en qu\u00eate d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 en particulier. Les documents ont servi aussi \u00e0 \u00e9clairer les entreprises de petite taille et moyenne taille du secteur de travail du bois quant \u00e0 leurs efforts de recrutement, augmentant ainsi la capacit\u00e9 globale de recrutement du secteur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet visait notamment les personnes sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans le secteur de la fabrication de produits en bois, comme les nouveaux Canadiens (y compris les immigrants et les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s), les femmes (qui sont souvent dissuad\u00e9es par la pr\u00e9dominance du sexe masculin dans le secteur ou ne sont pas conscientes des diverses occasions offertes) et les communaut\u00e9s autochtones (qui ne sont peut-\u00eatre pas conscientes des occasions hors des r\u00e9serves ou croient que des dipl\u00f4mes sont n\u00e9cessaires pour travailler dans le secteur).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"what-were-learning\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheResult\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240819\" style=\"width: 24px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Fill-1-1.svg\" alt=\"\"> Ce que nous apprenons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les donn\u00e9es probantes servent \u00e0 \u00e9clairer les strat\u00e9gies de recrutement efficaces<\/strong><br>Des strat\u00e9gies de recrutement efficaces sont essentielles \u00e0 la durabilit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la croissance du secteur. En r\u00e9ussissant \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer les personnes disposant de comp\u00e9tences transf\u00e9rables dans d\u2019autres secteurs, le CFB a pu mettre en \u00e9vidence l\u2019importance d\u2019utiliser des outils fond\u00e9s sur la recherche et d\u2019approches cibl\u00e9es en mati\u00e8re de recrutement. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des plateformes comme OpportuAvenir, le CFB a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 l\u2019importance d\u2019adopter des m\u00e9thodes innovantes pour attirer les talents dans le secteur de travail du bois. Les d\u00e9cideurs du CFB sont tr\u00e8s satisfaits de la plateforme OpportuAvenir et de son utilit\u00e9 pour d\u00e9terminer les carri\u00e8res potentiellement adaptables au secteur. Ils estiment que les r\u00e9sultats se r\u00e9percutent directement sur leurs efforts de marketing et de recrutement cibl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La sensibilisation est un pilier<\/strong><br>Le projet a mis en \u00e9vidence le pouvoir d\u2019une meilleure sensibilisation pour changer les perceptions et susciter l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat pour des carri\u00e8res dans le secteur du travail du bois. En \u00e9largissant la port\u00e9e de ses efforts de sensibilisation et en mettant l\u2019accent sur la durabilit\u00e9 du secteur et la diversit\u00e9 des parcours professionnels, le CFB a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 attirer des demandeurs d\u2019emploi potentiels et \u00e0 agrandir le vivier de talents. Cette sensibilisation devrait profiter au secteur, car malgr\u00e9 un ralentissement temporaire de la croissance de l\u2019emploi vers la fin de l\u2019ann\u00e9e&nbsp;2023 \u2013&nbsp;qu\u2019il est possible d\u2019attribuer \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction de l\u2019activit\u00e9 de construction et de r\u00e9novation en raison des fluctuations des taux d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat&nbsp;\u2013 de nombreuses entreprises ont maintenu leurs effectifs. Environ 32&nbsp;% des partenaires du secteur ont cit\u00e9 des p\u00e9nuries \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle des travailleurs peu qualifi\u00e9s et 50&nbsp;% \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle des travailleurs qualifi\u00e9s. 45&nbsp;% des personnes interrog\u00e9es dans le cadre d\u2019un sondage au sein du secteur ont fait part de leurs pr\u00e9occupations concernant les taux de rotation \u00e9lev\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La conception de ce projet vise \u00e0 relever les d\u00e9fis importants en mati\u00e8re de ressources humaines auxquels fait face le secteur canadien de travail du bois. Il s\u2019agit \u00e9galement de revitaliser le secteur en promouvant les d\u00e9bouch\u00e9s, en particulier parmi les groupes sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet a soutenu une approche coordonn\u00e9e en mati\u00e8re de ressources humaines et de promotion, favorisant la collaboration dans l\u2019ensemble du secteur, y compris avec les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement. Un recruteur national a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le crucial dans la promotion du secteur et le succ\u00e8s du projet en rep\u00e9rant des personnes issues d\u2019autres secteurs disposant de comp\u00e9tences transf\u00e9rables. De plus, les efforts visant la mobilisation de divers publics, notamment les immigrants, les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s et les peuples autochtones, au moyen de partenariats avec les agences de placement et
