relativement abordable, les microcertifications ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es comme un moyen prometteur d\u2019am\u00e9liorer les comp\u00e9tences, de se recycler ou de formaliser l\u2019apprentissage bas\u00e9 sur les comp\u00e9tences. Toutefois, les donn\u00e9es ne sont pas concluantes quant \u00e0 l\u2019impact des microcertifications sur la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre qui les obtient ou quant \u00e0 la question de savoir si les employeurs reconnaissent largement les microcertifications comme une mesure valable de l\u2019acquisition de comp\u00e9tences.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce projet a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 l\u2019adoption des microcr\u00e9dits dans les industries \u00e0 forte intensit\u00e9 num\u00e9rique au Canada, un domaine qui devrait cro\u00eetre et \u00e9voluer dans les prochaines ann\u00e9es. Le projet a utilis\u00e9 une nouvelle forme d\u2019information sur le march\u00e9 du travail \u2013 les profils LinkedIn \u2013 pour discerner les diff\u00e9rences de comp\u00e9tences, d\u2019anciennet\u00e9 professionnelle et de certification des microcertifications sur le march\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi dans le secteur technologique au Canada.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">En plus de d\u00e9montrer la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019exploiter des sources priv\u00e9es d\u2019IMT pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 des questions propres \u00e0 l\u2019industrie, le projet a montr\u00e9 que les professionnels du num\u00e9rique utilisent des microcertifications pour d\u00e9montrer des comp\u00e9tences pertinentes \u2013 en particulier celles qui deviennent importantes en raison de l\u2019\u00e9volution des technologies. Toutefois, il reste encore beaucoup \u00e0 faire pour mieux comprendre la valeur que les employeurs accordent aux microcertifications existantes sur le march\u00e9 du travail dans le secteur de la technologie, d\u2019autant plus que le projet n\u2019a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 aucune diff\u00e9rence en termes d\u2019anciennet\u00e9 dans l\u2019emploi entre ceux qui d\u00e9tenaient et r\u00e9pertoriaient des microcertifications et ceux qui n\u2019en d\u00e9tenaient pas, dans les professions li\u00e9es \u00e0 la science des donn\u00e9es et aux logiciels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group key-insights-grey has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#0000000d\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Perspectives cl\u00e9s<\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px;margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No.svg\" alt=\"\">Les donn\u00e9es de LinkedIn indiquent qu\u2019environ 1&nbsp;expert en sciences des donn\u00e9es sur 29 (3,4&nbsp;%) et 1&nbsp;professionnel du logiciel sur 31 (3,2&nbsp;%) au Canada ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 une microcertification sur leur profil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-1.svg\" alt=\"\">Les microcertifications ont le plus souvent \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9es pour mettre en valeur des comp\u00e9tences et des outils qui n\u2019ont gagn\u00e9 en popularit\u00e9 qu\u2019au cours des dix derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-2.svg\" alt=\"\">Les professionnels canadiens du num\u00e9rique ayant plus d\u2019exp\u00e9rience (six ans ou plus dans la profession) \u00e9taient plus susceptibles de d\u00e9clarer avoir obtenu une microcertification.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"the-issue\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheChallenge\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240812\" style=\"width: 12px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vector-2.svg\" alt=\"\"> L\u2019enjeu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group flex-print is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Pour r\u00e9pondre au rythme rapide de la num\u00e9risation de l\u2019\u00e9conomie, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9volution du march\u00e9 du travail et aux nouvelles exigences des employeurs en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tences, les universit\u00e9s et \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement sup\u00e9rieur publics et d\u2019autres prestataires d\u2019enseignement et de formation \u00e0 but lucratif mettent en place de nouveaux programmes visant \u00e0 doter les \u00e9tudiants et la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre de comp\u00e9tences recherch\u00e9es. Ils promettent souvent des programmes d\u2019\u00e9tudes appliqu\u00e9s, des plateformes d\u2019apprentissage hybrides ou en ligne pratiques et des r\u00e9sultats tels que des salaires plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s et des possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019avancement professionnel. Les microcertifications ont suscit\u00e9 beaucoup d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat \u2013 elles sont de courte dur\u00e9e, portent sur une comp\u00e9tence particuli\u00e8re et sont souvent abordables par rapport aux programmes d\u2019\u00e9tudes universitaires ou coll\u00e9giales qui n\u00e9cessitent beaucoup de temps, de ressources financi\u00e8res et d\u2019efforts pour les obtenir.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les microcertifications sont devenues une priorit\u00e9 majeure pour les d\u00e9cideurs politiques, les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement post-secondaire et les employeurs, car elles sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme une solution novatrice pour am\u00e9liorer les comp\u00e9tences, se recycler ou formaliser l\u2019apprentissage bas\u00e9 sur les comp\u00e9tences. Bien que certaines provinces et institutions aient introduit des cadres de microcertification, le Canada ne dispose toujours pas d\u2019une d\u00e9finition normalis\u00e9e et d\u2019un mod\u00e8le d\u2019assurance qualit\u00e9 pour cette nouvelle cat\u00e9gorie de titres, ce qui laisse les apprenants et la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre qualifi\u00e9e du Canada dans l\u2019incertitude quant \u00e0 ce nouveau march\u00e9 de programmes et \u00e0 leur effet sur les parcours d\u2019apprentissage, le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences et les trajectoires de carri\u00e8re. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Canada est confront\u00e9 \u00e0 une p\u00e9nurie de comp\u00e9tences pour les professionnels hautement techniques du num\u00e9rique. Une forte croissance est pr\u00e9vue dans l\u2019industrie des technologies num\u00e9riques et le besoin de professionnels ayant des comp\u00e9tences dans le d\u00e9veloppement de logiciels et l\u2019intelligence artificielle au niveau mondial. Compte tenu de l\u2019\u00e9volution rapide des outils techniques et des produits de l\u2019\u00e9conomie technologique, les microcertifications ont un fort potentiel pour soutenir le d\u00e9veloppement de comp\u00e9tences et de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre \u00e0 forte intensit\u00e9 num\u00e9rique. L\u2019offre de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre \u00e0 forte intensit\u00e9 num\u00e9rique est un march\u00e9 relativement nouveau et un secteur en pleine \u00e9volution pour ce qui est de l\u2019adoption des comp\u00e9tences et des concepts. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019\u00e9tudes en langue anglaise, de litt\u00e9rature grise et d\u2019articles de journaux non \u00e9valu\u00e9s par des pairs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet fait appel aux donn\u00e9es du profil LinkedIn pour discerner les diff\u00e9rences de comp\u00e9tences, d\u2019anciennet\u00e9 professionnelle et de certification de microcertifications qui, autrement, ne seraient pas identifiables dans les sources d\u2019IMT traditionnelles fournies par le public. Les professionnels des sciences des donn\u00e9es titulaires de microcertifications ont tendance \u00e0 faire \u00e9tat de comp\u00e9tences et d\u2019outils qui sont devenus plus populaires au cours des dix derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, notamment l\u2019apprentissage automatique et Tableau, tandis que les professionnels des logiciels d\u00e9clarent avoir des comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re de conception et d\u2019exp\u00e9rience de l\u2019utilisateur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les&nbsp;<strong>titulaires de microcertifications sont plus susceptibles d\u2019\u00eatre titulaires d\u2019un dipl\u00f4me post-secondaire dans des domaines d\u2019\u00e9tudes autres que les STIM,<\/strong>&nbsp;en particulier d\u2019un master en administration des affaires, et d\u2019avoir un niveau d\u2019\u00e9tudes plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que le reste des professionnels de leurs professions respectives. Malgr\u00e9 cela, aucune diff\u00e9rence n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 constat\u00e9e en termes d\u2019anciennet\u00e9 professionnelle entre les titulaires de microcertifications et ceux qui n\u2019en poss\u00e8dent pas, dans les professions li\u00e9es aux sciences des donn\u00e9es et aux logiciels.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L\u2019utilisation appropri\u00e9e des sources priv\u00e9es d\u2019IMT<\/strong><br>Les donn\u00e9es des profils LinkedIn permettent d\u2019\u00e9tudier les tendances du march\u00e9 du travail num\u00e9rique et de compl\u00e9ter les sources traditionnelles. Cette source d\u2019IMT permet une compr\u00e9hension plus granulaire des comp\u00e9tences, de l\u2019\u00e9ducation et de l\u2019information professionnelle qui n\u2019est pas recueillie ailleurs au Canada. Toutefois, les conclusions de ce projet ne peuvent \u00eatre extrapol\u00e9es \u00e0 toutes les professions. Les donn\u00e9es de LinkedIn doivent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es avec discernement lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019agit d\u2019explorer des professions et des comp\u00e9tences qui sont moins r\u00e9pandues sur les plateformes d\u2019emploi en ligne. Les microcertifications ont le potentiel d\u2019\u00eatre polyvalentes, de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 diverses comp\u00e9tences techniques au sein des professions li\u00e9es aux sciences des donn\u00e9es et au d\u00e9veloppement de logiciels, et peuvent constituer un moyen accessible de d\u00e9velopper de nouvelles comp\u00e9tences, en attirant les professionnels actuels et ceux qui se dirigent vers les domaines des sciences des donn\u00e9es et des logiciels \u00e0 partir de professions et de domaines d\u2019\u00e9tudes adjacents.
