\u00ab\u2009M-Power North\u2009\u00bb pour soutenir les jeunes m\u00e8res \u00e2g\u00e9es de 15 \u00e0 25&nbsp;ans dans le nord du Manitoba. Le programme propose des le\u00e7ons pratiques et exp\u00e9rimentales, couvrant un certain nombre de secteurs, notamment les m\u00e9tiers, la technologie, les ressources naturelles, les STIM et les soins de sant\u00e9. Le programme comprend \u00e9galement une \u00e9ducation bas\u00e9e sur la terre qui apporte un apprentissage d\u2019un point de vue autochtone. Les participantes au programme M-Power North participent \u00e0 des ateliers de d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences sur la r\u00e9daction de CV, le r\u00e9seautage, les techniques d\u2019entretien, l\u2019\u00e9ducation financi\u00e8re et d\u2019autres comp\u00e9tences essentielles, et entendent directement d\u2019autres femmes de leur communaut\u00e9 parler de leur propre exp\u00e9rience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cependant, lors de la mise en \u0153uvre du programme, il s\u2019est av\u00e9r\u00e9 plus difficile que pr\u00e9vu d\u2019impliquer les participants et de s\u2019adapter au contexte et aux besoins uniques du Nord du Manitoba. Pour mieux comprendre les d\u00e9fis actuels dans les communaut\u00e9s cibles du programme (p. ex. The Pas, Opaskweyak Cree Nation) et la fa\u00e7on dont M-Power North peut le mieux aborder ces questions, Career Trek a interview\u00e9 des fournisseurs de services qui ont servi des personnes similaires et s\u2019est entretenu avec un conseil d\u2019a\u00een\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces parties prenantes ont reconnu la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019un programme comme M-Power North, mais ont indiqu\u00e9 que l\u2019initiative aurait plus de succ\u00e8s si son contenu \u00e9tait int\u00e9gr\u00e9 dans des programmes pr\u00e9existants, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 qu\u2019ils avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 sensibilis\u00e9 la communaut\u00e9 et gagn\u00e9 sa confiance.&nbsp; Diverses suggestions ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 faites pour mieux adapter M-Power North aux besoins des participants, comme permettre l\u2019inscription au programme d\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re session (au lieu d\u2019exiger une inscription pr\u00e9alable), \u00e9viter les activit\u00e9s pendant les mois d\u2019hiver, et offrir des incitations financi\u00e8res \u00e0 la participation.&nbsp; En outre, la COVID-19 a rendu un plus grand nombre de participants r\u00e9ticents \u00e0 participer \u00e0 des programmes de d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences parce qu\u2019ils se sentent plus r\u00e9ticents \u00e0 socialiser avec d\u2019autres personnes ou qu\u2019ils craignent d\u2019\u00eatre expos\u00e9s \u00e0 des personnes non-vaccin\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le co\u00fbt de la vie est \u00e9lev\u00e9 dans le nord du Manitoba, en particulier pour les femmes ayant de jeunes enfants, et les parties prenantes ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration du personnel devrait \u00eatre suffisante pour attirer des candidats qualifi\u00e9s.&nbsp; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-1.svg\" alt=\"\">La COVID-19 a eu des effets \u00e0 long terme sur la volont\u00e9 des participants de s\u2019engager dans des programmes de d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences, les prestataires de services notant que certaines personnes continuent \u00e0 trouver difficile de socialiser avec d\u2019autres, tandis que d\u2019autres continuent \u00e0 craindre de faire courir un risque \u00e0 leur famille si elles sont expos\u00e9es \u00e0 des personnes non vaccin\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vector-2.svg\" alt=\"\"> L\u2019enjeu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les responsabilit\u00e9s familiales et d\u2019autres priorit\u00e9s font que les jeunes m\u00e8res ont souvent besoin d\u2019une approche diff\u00e9rente pour construire leur parcours professionnel et \u00e9ducatif afin de tirer le meilleur parti de leurs aspirations et de leurs comp\u00e9tences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis plus de 25&nbsp;ans, Career Trek est une organisation caritative qui offre des programmes d\u2019\u00e9ducation au choix de carri\u00e8re aux enfants, aux jeunes et aux adultes du Manitoba. Fort de son exp\u00e9rience avec un programme similaire \u00e0 Winnipeg, Career Trek a cr\u00e9\u00e9 M-Power North \u2013 des ateliers de d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences organis\u00e9s deux fois par semaine pour aider les participants \u00e0 acqu\u00e9rir une plus grande assurance et des comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re d\u2019employabilit\u00e9, \u00e0 se fixer des objectifs en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9ducation et de carri\u00e8re et \u00e0 b\u00e2tir une vie encore meilleure pour eux-m\u00eames et pour leurs enfants. Le programme int\u00e8gre \u00e9galement l\u2019\u00e9ducation \u00e0 la terre et les perspectives autochtones, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 que de nombreux participants du nord du Manitoba sont issus de communaut\u00e9s autochtones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lors de la mise en \u0153uvre du programme, l\u2019\u00e9quipe de Career Trek a rencontr\u00e9 plus de difficult\u00e9s que pr\u00e9vu pour recruter et impliquer les participants, et le contexte et les besoins uniques du Nord du Manitoba ont ajout\u00e9 \u00e0 la complexit\u00e9 de la situation.&nbsp; En outre, la pand\u00e9mie a modifi\u00e9 le contexte du march\u00e9 du travail. L\u2019objectif de cette phase \u00e9tait de tirer parti des connaissances d\u2019autres organisations de soutien travaillant avec des communaut\u00e9s et des individus similaires \u00e0 Career Trek.&nbsp; Cette approche a permis de reconna\u00eetre l\u2019expertise approfondie qui existait d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans la r\u00e9gion et de recueillir des avis fond\u00e9s sur des exp\u00e9riences personnelles, professionnelles et v\u00e9cues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phase 2&nbsp;: Enqu\u00eate aupr\u00e8s des participants potentiels au programme M-Power North. Si les donn\u00e9es recueillies aupr\u00e8s des prestataires de services n\u2019\u00e9taient pas suffisantes pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 certaines questions cl\u00e9s, Career Trek mettrait en \u0153uvre une deuxi\u00e8me phase au cours de laquelle les participants potentiels seraient interrog\u00e9s afin de recueillir toutes les donn\u00e9es manquantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Career Trek a compris que le meilleur moyen de recueillir des avis et des commentaires honn\u00eates \u00e9tait de travailler avec quelqu\u2019un que les communaut\u00e9s cibles connaissaient et en qui elles avaient confiance. L\u2019\u00e9quipe a donc fait appel \u00e0 un entrepreneur qui vivait dans la r\u00e9gion depuis plus de 20&nbsp;ans et qui disposait d\u2019un solide r\u00e9seau dans le secteur de l\u2019\u00e9ducation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre janvier et mars 2023, l\u2019entrepreneur s\u2019est entretenu avec neuf prestataires de services afin de recueillir leurs points de vue et leurs recommandations.&nbsp; Au cours de cette p\u00e9riode, le PDG de Career Trek a \u00e9galement eu le privil\u00e8ge de rencontrer le Conseil des Anciens du Coll\u00e8ge universitaire du Nord. Ce conseil a \u00e9galement pu commenter et compl\u00e9ter les donn\u00e9es recueillies aupr\u00e8s des prestataires de services.
