avoir un besoin urgent d\u2019am\u00e9liorer les comp\u00e9tences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre. Conscient de cela, le Coll\u00e8ge Communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick\/Community College of New Brunswick (CCNB) a lanc\u00e9 un projet visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les comp\u00e9tences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales de sa population \u00e9tudiante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En particulier, le CCNB a \u00e9largi son programme d\u2019\u00e9tudes pour inclure la formation dans cinq domaines cl\u00e9s, notamment la motivation, la pr\u00e9sentation, le travail d\u2019\u00e9quipe, l\u2019adaptabilit\u00e9 et la responsabilit\u00e9. Le projet \u2014 un effort conjoint du corps professoral, des \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants et des employeurs du CCNB \u2014 visait \u00e0 renforcer l\u2019employabilit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9silience de ses dipl\u00f4m\u00e9es et dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s. Le projet a commenc\u00e9 par une \u00e9valuation des besoins et s\u2019est termin\u00e9 par la mise en \u0153uvre d\u2019activit\u00e9s de formation con\u00e7ues pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment pour favoriser les cinq comp\u00e9tences essentielles susmentionn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019outil d\u2019\u00e9valuation des comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re d\u2019employabilit\u00e9 (Employability Skills Assessment Tool\u2014ESAT) a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour \u00e9valuer les progr\u00e8s des \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants dans ces domaines. Bien que le projet ait \u00e9t\u00e9 confront\u00e9 \u00e0 un certain nombre d\u2019obstacles (par exemple, des retards dans la formation du corps professoral), les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ont am\u00e9lior\u00e9 leurs comp\u00e9tences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales dans les cinq domaines. De plus, les notes obtenues par les \u00e9l\u00e8ves pour chacune des cinq comp\u00e9tences essentielles ont augment\u00e9 au cours des deux phases du projet, soit pendant le semestre et pendant les stages.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Les r\u00e9sultats de cette initiative ont fourni des donn\u00e9es pr\u00e9cieuses sur la mani\u00e8re dont l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des comp\u00e9tences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales peut aussi am\u00e9liorer la pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 l\u2019emploi des personnes dipl\u00f4m\u00e9es. Elle a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 comment les \u00e9coles peuvent mieux adapter leurs programmes en fonction de l\u2019\u00e9volution des comp\u00e9tences requises. Un sondage men\u00e9 en f\u00e9vrier 2020 aupr\u00e8s de 250 employeurs locaux a soulign\u00e9 l\u2019importance croissante de l\u2019adaptabilit\u00e9, du travail d\u2019\u00e9quipe et de communications efficaces. Les comp\u00e9tences non techniques sont devenues plus importantes dans la r\u00e9gion depuis le d\u00e9but de la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19, ce qui a modifi\u00e9 la dynamique du milieu de travail et a exig\u00e9 que le personnel fasse preuve de r\u00e9silience et d\u2019adaptabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traditionnellement, le CCNB s\u2019est concentr\u00e9 sur la transmission de comp\u00e9tences techniques, en mettant moins d\u2019accent sur les comp\u00e9tences non techniques. Ce mod\u00e8le \u00e9ducatif s\u2019est av\u00e9r\u00e9 inad\u00e9quat, car les employeurs ont not\u00e9 que les personnes nouvellement dipl\u00f4m\u00e9es \u2014 bien que comp\u00e9tentes sur le plan technique \u2014 \u00e9taient souvent mal \u00e9quip\u00e9es pour g\u00e9rer les complexit\u00e9s des environnements de travail modernes. Cet \u00e9cart a entrain\u00e9 des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 retenir le personnel et \u00e0 maintenir une performance professionnelle \u00e9lev\u00e9e, ce qui souligne la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019une approche \u00e9ducative qui englobe \u00e0 la fois les comp\u00e9tences techniques et non techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En r\u00e9ponse, un projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 pour remodeler les offres \u00e9ducatives du CCNB. L\u2019objectif \u00e9tait d\u2019int\u00e9grer le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales dans le programme existant, en alignant plus \u00e9troitement les r\u00e9sultats scolaires sur les demandes du march\u00e9. Cette phase a \u00e9t\u00e9 cruciale pour adapter les activit\u00e9s de formation qui seraient \u00e9ventuellement int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans le programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019initiative s\u2019est concentr\u00e9e sur la conception et la mise en \u0153uvre d\u2019activit\u00e9s p\u00e9dagogiques pour am\u00e9liorer (en particulier) la motivation, la pr\u00e9sentation, le travail d\u2019\u00e9quipe, l\u2019adaptabilit\u00e9 et la responsabilit\u00e9. Ces activit\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans divers programmes du coll\u00e8ge, ce qui a permis \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble des \u00e9l\u00e8ves de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de meilleures opportunit\u00e9s d\u2019apprentissage. Cette approche a aussi permis de s\u2019assurer que le projet r\u00e9pondait aux besoins d\u2019un corps \u00e9tudiant diversifi\u00e9 dans diverses disciplines, au CCNB, afin de mieux pr\u00e9parer les \u00e9l\u00e8ves aux exigences du march\u00e9 du travail au Nouveau-Brunswick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019initiative visait \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 deux questions principales&nbsp;: comment les comp\u00e9tences non techniques peuvent-elles \u00eatre efficacement int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans les programmes existants et comment cette formation a-t-elle un effet sur l\u2019employabilit\u00e9 des \u00e9l\u00e8ves\u2009? Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces questions, le projet a r\u00e9uni des membres du corps professoral, de la population \u00e9tudiante et des employeurs du CCNB pour cr\u00e9er un programme structur\u00e9 visant \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper les comp\u00e9tences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales des \u00e9l\u00e8ves parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 leurs capacit\u00e9s techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet a utilis\u00e9 l\u2019outil d\u2019\u00e9valuation des comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re d\u2019employabilit\u00e9 (Employability Skills Assessment Tool\u2014ESAT) et d\u2019autres m\u00e9thodes d\u2019auto-\u00e9valuation pour mesurer le d\u00e9veloppement de ces comp\u00e9tences et leur \u00e9volution avant et apr\u00e8s la formation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"what-were-learning\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheResult\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240819\" style=\"width: 24px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Fill-1-1.svg\" alt=\"\"> Ce que nous apprenons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019initiative a impliqu\u00e9 74 \u00e9l\u00e8ves de quatre programmes d\u2019\u00e9tudes diff\u00e9rents, qui ont tous b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d\u2019une approche \u00e9ducative actualis\u00e9e ax\u00e9e sur les cinq comp\u00e9tences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales que sont la motivation, la pr\u00e9sentation, le travail d\u2019\u00e9quipe, l\u2019adaptabilit\u00e9 et la responsabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tout au long du projet, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves engag\u00e9s dans la formation aux comp\u00e9tences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales ont fait l\u2019objet d\u2019une \u00e9valuation et d\u2019un suivi m\u00e9ticuleux de leurs progr\u00e8s. De plus, bien que l\u2019outil d\u2019\u00e9valuation des comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re d\u2019employabilit\u00e9 ait fourni des donn\u00e9es pr\u00e9cieuses sur les progr\u00e8s des \u00e9l\u00e8ves, il a \u00e9galement r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 des limites, comme le fait qu\u2019il soit distinct des autres \u00e9valuations acad\u00e9miques.
