milieux de travail canadiens, la transformation num\u00e9rique s\u2019est consid\u00e9rablement acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e apr\u00e8s les confinements pannationaux li\u00e9s \u00e0 la COVID-19 qui ont augment\u00e9 la demande de travail \u00e0 distance. La transformation num\u00e9rique a frapp\u00e9 et frappera plus durement certains travailleurs et travailleuses que d\u2019autres. Les femmes, en particulier les immigrantes racis\u00e9es, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 et continueront probablement d\u2019\u00eatre touch\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re disproportionn\u00e9e par ces changements structurels (<em>Enqu\u00eate sur la population active, 2020<\/em>\u2009; Ng et Gagnon, 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bien que ces d\u00e9fis soient largement connus, l\u2019\u00e9quipe du projet a cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 faire la lumi\u00e8re sur la mani\u00e8re dont les responsables de politiques peuvent promouvoir des politiques pour les surmonter. Pour ce faire, nous avons analys\u00e9 des projets r\u00e9ussis dans le cadre desquels des immigrants racis\u00e9s ont r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 se recycler et \u00e0 se perfectionner pour tirer parti de la transformation num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Les auteurs ont constat\u00e9 que les plus grands d\u00e9fis pour les personnes interrog\u00e9es pendant la crise du coronavirus \u00e9taient 1) le co\u00fbt \u00e9lev\u00e9 de l\u2019automatisation des \u00e9quipements et de l\u2019achat d\u2019autres outils num\u00e9riques et 2) l\u2019absence des \u00e9l\u00e9ments suivants&nbsp;: des employ\u00e9s dot\u00e9s de comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques, des chaines d\u2019approvisionnement num\u00e9riques, des collaborations en r\u00e9seau, des syst\u00e8mes de paiement int\u00e9gr\u00e9s sur les sites Web des entreprises et des capacit\u00e9s de marketing num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group key-insights-grey has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#0000000d\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Perspectives cl\u00e9s<\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px;margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No.svg\" alt=\"\">Les femmes sont surrepr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans les professions qui n\u00e9cessitent des comp\u00e9tences non techniques, comme l\u2019empathie, la compassion et la politesse. Bien que ces comp\u00e9tences soient moins susceptibles d\u2019\u00eatre affect\u00e9es par l\u2019automatisation dans un avenir proche, elles sont constamment sous-\u00e9valu\u00e9es par rapport aux comp\u00e9tences techniques, et il est peu probable que les femmes occupant des emplois n\u00e9cessitant des comp\u00e9tences non techniques soient bien r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-1.svg\" alt=\"\">Les m\u0153urs sociales concernant l\u2019Internet et les technologies de l\u2019information et des communications et la valeur des femmes jouent un r\u00f4le \u00e9norme dans la mesure dans laquelle les femmes poursuivent volontairement et facilement une \u00e9ducation bas\u00e9e sur les STIM.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-2.svg\" alt=\"\">Les nouvelles arrivantes appartenant \u00e0 une minorit\u00e9 visible ont les salaires les plus bas et les perspectives d\u2019emploi les plus faibles. Leur salaire annuel m\u00e9dian est de 26\u2009624&nbsp;$, comparativement \u00e0 30\u2009074&nbsp;$ pour les femmes nouvellement arriv\u00e9es n\u2019appartenant pas \u00e0 une minorit\u00e9 visible, \u00e0 35\u2009574&nbsp;$ pour les hommes appartenant \u00e0 une minorit\u00e9 visible et \u00e0 42\u2009591&nbsp;$ pour les nouveaux arrivants n\u2019appartenant pas \u00e0 une minorit\u00e9 visible (selon les donn\u00e9es de 2019) (CBC, 2019).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"the-issue\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheChallenge\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240812\" style=\"width: 12px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vector-2.svg\" alt=\"\"> L\u2019enjeu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group flex-print is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>La transformation num\u00e9rique du travail offre aux femmes la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019exercer des professions traditionnellement domin\u00e9es par les hommes, tout en normalisant les modalit\u00e9s de travail flexibles (p. ex., travailler virtuellement plut\u00f4t que sur place) gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la distribution mondiale d\u2019appareils num\u00e9riques mobiles, comme les ordinateurs et les t\u00e9l\u00e9phones mobiles.Le travail flexible offre la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9quilibrer le travail et la vie priv\u00e9e, mais il dissout \u00e9galement les fronti\u00e8res entre le travail et la vie priv\u00e9e. En outre, cela peut produire de nouvelles formes d\u2019emploi contractuel qui n\u2019offrent pas un acc\u00e8s aux prestations sociales, \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 d\u2019emploi et aux protections du milieu de travail, et renforcer la \u00ab\u2009discrimination structurelle \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard des femmes\u2009\u00bb (voir Aneja et Mishra, 2017\u2009; Ryder, 2016).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le processus d\u2019optimisation de cette tension est difficile. La num\u00e9risation permet de jongler davantage, selon les femmes, mais, comme de nombreuses femmes l\u2019ont constat\u00e9 pendant les nombreux confinements li\u00e9s \u00e0 la COVID, elle allonge \u00e9galement le temps que les femmes consacrent au travail et aux activit\u00e9s domestiques. top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Fill-1.svg\" alt=\"\"> Ce que nous examinons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet visait \u00e0 mieux comprendre les approches de formation et de perfectionnement qui se sont av\u00e9r\u00e9es efficaces pour pr\u00e9parer la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre \u00e0 la mobilit\u00e9 entre les secteurs et les professions face aux perturbations et aux opportunit\u00e9s num\u00e9riques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, l\u2019\u00e9quipe s\u2019est charg\u00e9e de&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A) D\u00e9terminer comment et o\u00f9 les immigrantes racis\u00e9es du Canada ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les plus touch\u00e9es par la transformation num\u00e9rique des milieux de travail, en particulier les transformations acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9es par les confinements li\u00e9s \u00e0 la COVID-19 et les ralentissements \u00e9conomiques qui ont suivi\u2009;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>b) Synth\u00e9tiser les connaissances du Canada et d\u2019autres \u00e9conomies avanc\u00e9es (\u00c9tats-Unis, Europe et Australie) sur les approches de recyclage r\u00e9ussies qui permettent aux travailleuses immigrantes racis\u00e9es de tirer parti des transformations num\u00e9riques de l\u2019\u00e9conomie et du milieu de travail.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"what-were-learning\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheResult\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240819\" style=\"width: 24px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Fill-1-1.svg\" alt=\"\"> Ce que nous apprenons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>L\u2019entrepreneuriat repr\u00e9sente une opportunit\u00e9 d\u2019emploi attrayante pour les femmes par rapport aux emplois r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s<\/strong><br>Cependant, il existe toujours un pi\u00e8ge pour les femmes dans l\u2019entrepreneuriat en raison des \u00e9carts entre les genres dans la formation entrepreneuriale, d\u2019un acc\u00e8s moindre \u00e0 la formation professionnelle bas\u00e9e sur les STIM, du fait qu\u2019il y a moins de r\u00e9seaux sociaux pour les femmes fondatrices d\u2019entreprises et des obstacles financiers importants qui emp\u00eachent les femmes de saisir les opportunit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les programmes ax\u00e9s sur les comp\u00e9tences pratiques, le r\u00e9seautage et le counseling personnalis\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re d\u2019emploi aident les participantes \u00e0 naviguer sur le march\u00e9 du travail et \u00e0 se b\u00e2tir des carri\u00e8res durables<\/strong><br>Des programmes comme l\u2019Initiative pour les nouvelles arrivantes appartenant \u00e0 une minorit\u00e9 visible au travail en Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse et des initiatives similaires en Ontario visent \u00e0 combler ces lacunes en offrant une formation de pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 l\u2019emploi, l\u2019acquisition d\u2019une litt\u00e9ratie num\u00e9rique et un soutien \u00e0 l\u2019entrepreneuriat aux femmes immigrantes et racis\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorsque les participantes commencent le programme, elles sont r\u00e9parties au hasard dans un des deux groupes. Un groupe re\u00e7oit une formation en classe de six semaines sur la confiance en soi, l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des genres en milieu de travail, la gestion du changement, l\u2019\u00e9laboration d\u2019un portefeuille de comp\u00e9tences, les strat\u00e9gies de recherche d\u2019emploi et les simulations d\u2019entrevues, ainsi qu\u2019une formation en litt\u00e9ratie num\u00e9rique. En outre, l\u2019apprentissage tout au long de la vie b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019un soutien limit\u00e9, ce qui est crucial pour les adultes qui cherchent \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer leur employabilit\u00e9 au fil du temps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les programmes actuels ont tendance \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier l\u2019entr\u00e9e rapide sur le march\u00e9 du travail plut\u00f4t que le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une carri\u00e8re durable et l\u2019adaptabilit\u00e9 aux demandes changeantes du march\u00e9, comme les comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques.
