Centre des Comp\u00e9tences futures, comme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.torontomu.ca\/diversity\/research\/studybuddy\/\">Study Buddy<\/a> et d\u2019autres projets sur la maternelle \u00e0 la 12<sup>e&nbsp;<\/sup>ann\u00e9e, le Diversity Institute a cern\u00e9 d\u2019importantes lacunes dans l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des donn\u00e9es pertinentes sur les carri\u00e8res pour les jeunes et leurs parents, le corps enseignant et les conseill\u00e8res et conseillers en orientation. De nombreux jeunes, en particulier ceux issus de groupes m\u00e9ritant l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, ne savent pas quelles sont leurs options de carri\u00e8re et ne savent pas quelles sont les comp\u00e9tences \u00e0 acqu\u00e9rir pour y acc\u00e9der. Pour combler ces lacunes, le Diversity Institute a con\u00e7u et test\u00e9 la plateforme Comp\u00e9tences et Carri\u00e8res Futures (C&amp;CF) avec le Peel District School Board (PDSB). L\u2019objectif \u00e9tait de donner acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des renseignements sur les tendances du march\u00e9 du travail et les possibilit\u00e9s de carri\u00e8re aux jeunes Noirs et aux jeunes issus de la diversit\u00e9, \u00e0 leurs familles et au corps enseignant afin de compl\u00e9ter les outils existants, comme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peelschools.org\/myblueprint\">myBlueprint. <\/a>&nbsp;En fournissant des ressources adapt\u00e9es et des renseignements d\u00e9taill\u00e9s sur les carri\u00e8res et les tendances du march\u00e9 du travail, la plateforme visait \u00e0 donner aux jeunes la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019explorer des domaines \u00e9mergents, d\u2019am\u00e9liorer leur pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 la carri\u00e8re et de surmonter les d\u00e9fis, pour finalement r\u00e9ussir \u00e0 long terme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le contenu de la plateforme a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9labor\u00e9 en collaboration avec des jeunes inscrits \u00e0 des formations en comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques et en entrepreneuriat. La plateforme a \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9e du 16&nbsp;mai au 26&nbsp;juin 2024, aupr\u00e8s de deux classes du secondaire. Quarante-sept \u00e9l\u00e8ves ont consult\u00e9 le site Web et 31 ont r\u00e9pondu au sondage. Cela constitue un taux de r\u00e9ponse de 66&nbsp;%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Les r\u00e9sultats ont montr\u00e9 que de nombreux usag\u00e8res et usagers ont eu une exp\u00e9rience positive de navigation sur le site Web. La plupart ont convenu que la plateforme fournissait des donn\u00e9es pertinentes sur les carri\u00e8res. De m\u00eame, la plupart \u00e9taient persuad\u00e9s de trouver des renseignements sur le site Web. Certains usagers et usag\u00e8res ont trouv\u00e9 le langage de la plateforme trop complexe, bien que la plupart aient trouv\u00e9 le langage facile \u00e0 comprendre. Les commentaires sur les sous-pages ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s positifs. Les r\u00e9sultats serviront de base aux futures mises \u00e0 jour du site Web afin de s\u2019assurer qu\u2019il r\u00e9pond aux besoins des personnes cibl\u00e9es et, en fin de compte, aide les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 explorer les options et \u00e0 planifier leur future carri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group key-insights-grey has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#0000000d\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Perspectives cl\u00e9s<\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px;margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No.svg\" alt=\"\">Quatre-vingts pour cent des usag\u00e8res et usagers ont convenu que la plateforme fournissait des renseignements pertinents sur les carri\u00e8res. 83,8&nbsp;% \u00e9taient d\u2019accord ou tout \u00e0 fait d\u2019accord pour dire que l\u2019objectif du site Web \u00e9tait clair\u2009; et 73,4&nbsp;% ont trouv\u00e9 le langage facile \u00e0 comprendre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-1.svg\" alt=\"\">Les r\u00e9pondantes et r\u00e9pondants au sondage ont fait l\u2019\u00e9loge des jeux-questionnaires du site Web qui aident les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 explorer leurs options de carri\u00e8re, et ils ont recommand\u00e9 d\u2019int\u00e9grer davantage d\u2019activit\u00e9s interactives correspondant aux comp\u00e9tences et aux forces des \u00e9l\u00e8ves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-2.svg\" alt=\"\">Soixante-dix pour cent \u00e9taient d\u2019accord ou tout \u00e0 fait d\u2019accord pour dire que le site Web les avait aid\u00e9s \u00e0 comprendre les diff\u00e9rents cheminements de carri\u00e8re offerts, et moins de 7&nbsp;% n\u2019\u00e9taient pas d\u2019accord.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"the-issue\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheChallenge\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240812\" style=\"width: 12px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vector-2.svg\" alt=\"\"> L\u2019enjeu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group flex-print is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Un m\u00e9lange complexe de facteurs socio\u00e9conomiques, culturels, de capital social et d\u2019\u00e9ducation fa\u00e7onne les choix de carri\u00e8re des jeunes au Canada. Pour les jeunes noirs et racis\u00e9s, les obstacles syst\u00e9miques limitent souvent les options de carri\u00e8re et leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 envisager un avenir meilleur pour eux-m\u00eames. Parmi les d\u00e9fis, mentionnons le manque de capital familial, le nombre limit\u00e9 de mod\u00e8les, l\u2019insuffisance de l\u2019orientation professionnelle et le soutien minimal du syst\u00e8me \u00e9ducatif. La plateforme a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7ue pour relever les d\u00e9fis auxquels ces jeunes sont confront\u00e9s en leur offrant des ressources essentielles, comme du mentorat, des profils professionnels diversifi\u00e9s, des formations aux comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques et des outils de d\u00e9veloppement de carri\u00e8re. &nbsp;Les outils du site Web sont con\u00e7us pour aider les jeunes \u00e0 voir les diff\u00e9rentes options de carri\u00e8re qui s\u2019offrent \u00e0 eux et \u00e0 prendre des d\u00e9cisions sur les parcours menant \u00e0 ces carri\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un projet pilote a \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9 en partenariat avec le PDSB afin d\u2019\u00e9laborer et de tester la capacit\u00e9 de la plateforme \u00e0 compl\u00e9ter les programmes et les outils existants afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer le soutien \u00e0 l\u2019orientation professionnelle inclusive. Les objectifs du projet pilote \u00e9taient les suivants&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Consolidation des ressources \u2014 Ce projet a permis de cr\u00e9er un site Web informatif qui centralisait des renseignements pr\u00e9cieux sur les tendances du march\u00e9 du travail, les cheminements de carri\u00e8re et les possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9ducation. Cette plateforme a servi de ressource unique en int\u00e9grant le mat\u00e9riel existant pour guider les \u00e9tudiants et leurs r\u00e9seaux de soutien vers des choix de carri\u00e8re \u00e9clair\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conception et \u00e9valuation centr\u00e9es sur l\u2019usager \u2014 Ce projet a permis de prototyper le site Web, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u en tenant compte de l\u2019engagement des usag\u00e8res et usagers. Il a \u00e9galement test\u00e9 et \u00e9valu\u00e9 les commentaires de divers usagers et usag\u00e8res, y compris des \u00e9l\u00e8ves, des parents, des enseignantes et enseignants et des conseill\u00e8res et conseillers. Cela a permis de s\u2019assurer que la plateforme r\u00e9pondait aux besoins de son public tout en restant conviviale et efficace.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Int\u00e9gration op\u00e9rationnelle \u2014 Ce projet a d\u00e9fini les exigences fonctionnelles pour rendre la plateforme op\u00e9rationnelle et a assur\u00e9 une int\u00e9gration transparente avec d\u2019autres plateformes sur les carri\u00e8res et l\u2019\u00e9ducation, comme Pathways, MyStartr et Magnet. Cela a permis d\u2019am\u00e9liorer et d\u2019\u00e9largir les ressources offertes aux personnes qui cherchent des conseils en mati\u00e8re de planification de carri\u00e8re.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Contrairement \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peelschools.org\/myblueprint\">myBlueprint<\/a>, qui se concentre principalement sur l\u2019auto-\u00e9valuation, la plateforme Comp\u00e9tences &amp; Carri\u00e8res Futures fournit des donn\u00e9es d\u00e9taill\u00e9es sur le march\u00e9 du travail, et sur le d\u00e9veloppement professionnel et des conseils sur les parcours professionnels. La plateforme aide les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 explorer des domaines \u00e9mergents, comme l\u2019entrepreneuriat num\u00e9rique et la technologie, leur donnant ainsi la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir les comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires pour prosp\u00e9rer dans une \u00e9conomie en rapide \u00e9volution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous avons men\u00e9 un sondage aupr\u00e8s du PDSB afin d\u2019\u00e9valuer la plateforme Comp\u00e9tences &amp; Futures Carri\u00e8res sur les \u00e9l\u00e9ments suivants&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accessibilit\u00e9<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Convivialit\u00e9 de la navigation&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clart\u00e9 de l\u2019objectif&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pertinence du contenu et pertinence visuelle&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Efficacit\u00e9 (en examinant l\u2019exp\u00e9rience usag\u00e8re\/usager)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Utilit\u00e9, pertinence et utilit\u00e9 des ressources fournies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Deux classes du secondaire ont \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9es \u00e0 tester la plateforme et \u00e0 donner leur avis lors d\u2019un sondage en ligne. Le sondage a eu lieu entre le 16&nbsp;mai et le 26&nbsp;juin 2024. Quarante-sept \u00e9l\u00e8ves y ont r\u00e9pondu et 31 ont compl\u00e9t\u00e9 le sondage, soit un taux de r\u00e9ponse de 66&nbsp;%. Les commentaires des usag\u00e8res et usagers ont \u00e9t\u00e9 analys\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re descriptive et ont \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e9t\u00e9s par les commentaires d\u2019informatrices et informateurs cl\u00e9s, y compris le corps enseignant, les conseill\u00e8res et conseillers et l\u2019administration du PDSB.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"what-were-learning\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheResult\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240819\" style=\"width: 24px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Fill-1-1.svg\" alt=\"\"> Ce que nous apprenons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9valuation a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que plusieurs personnes ayant utilis\u00e9 le site Web ont eu une exp\u00e9rience positive de navigation. Plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, 32,3\u00a0% \u00e9taient tout \u00e0 fait d\u2019accord et 35,5\u00a0% \u00e9taient d\u2019accord pour dire que la navigation sur le site est Web facile\u2009; une petite proportion (3,2\u00a0%) n\u2019\u00e9tait pas d\u2019accord et 29\u00a0% sont demeur\u00e9s neutres. De m\u00eame, la plupart se sentaient en confiance pour trouver de l\u2019information sur le site Web, avec 19,4\u00a0% tout \u00e0 fait d\u2019accord et 45,2\u00a0% d\u2019accord, bien que 9,7\u00a0% n\u2019aient pas trouv\u00e9 l\u2019information facilement et 25,8\u00a0% aient \u00e9t\u00e9 neutres. Les commentaires sur les sous-pages, y compris \u00ab\u2009Commencer\u2009\u00bb, \u00ab\u2009Opportunit\u00e9s\u2009\u00bb et \u00ab\u2009Conseils\u2009\u00bb, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 extr\u00eamement positifs. Environ 90\u00a0% des personnes interrog\u00e9es ont trouv\u00e9 chacune de ces sous-pages assez ou tr\u00e8s utiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parmi les points \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer, mentionnons la simplification de la navigation sur la plateforme, la mise \u00e0 jour du contenu sur les domaines de carri\u00e8re \u00e9mergents et l\u2019expansion des fonctionnalit\u00e9s interactives, comme les jeux-questionnaires et les outils de planification de carri\u00e8re. Les pages \u00ab\u2009Pr\u00e9paration\u2009\u00bb et \u00ab\u2009Tendances\u2009\u00bb ont re\u00e7u des commentaires plus mitig\u00e9s et b\u00e9n\u00e9ficieraient d\u2019une mise \u00e0 jour des donn\u00e9es sur le march\u00e9 du travail et de conseils de carri\u00e8re plus d\u00e9taill\u00e9s. Une autre possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019am\u00e9lioration concerne la complexit\u00e9 du langage. Alors que 73,4&nbsp;% des usag\u00e8res et usagers ont trouv\u00e9 le langage de la plateforme facile \u00e0 comprendre, quelques-uns (3,3&nbsp;%) ont sugg\u00e9r\u00e9 que la simplification du langage pourrait am\u00e9liorer davantage la compr\u00e9hension, et 23,3&nbsp;% sont rest\u00e9s neutres. En ce qui concerne la pertinence visuelle, pr\u00e8s des deux tiers (63,4&nbsp;%) \u00e9taient d\u2019accord pour dire que les images convenaient au contenu, bien que 6,7&nbsp;% n\u2019\u00e9taient pas d\u2019accord et 30&nbsp;% \u00e9taient neutres. Cela peut les amener \u00e0 occuper ou \u00e0 conserver des emplois moins bien r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s, car ils ne r\u00e9pondent pas aux exigences en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9ducation et de comp\u00e9tences. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un probl\u00e8me particuli\u00e8rement aigu auquel sont confront\u00e9s les jeunes issus de groupes m\u00e9ritant l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, y compris les jeunes noirs et les jeunes racis\u00e9s, et ce probl\u00e8me est profond\u00e9ment li\u00e9 au statut socio\u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.plos.org\/plosone\/article?id=10.1371\/journal.pone.0281967\">obstacles sapent la confiance des \u00e9l\u00e8ves<\/a> et les d\u00e9couragent de poursuivre des objectifs de carri\u00e8re ambitieux, cr\u00e9ant ainsi un cycle d\u2019opportunit\u00e9s limit\u00e9es. Pour les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/stories\/2022\/01\/stem-science-women-gender-stereotypes-bias-equality\/\">femmes, en particulier dans les domaines domin\u00e9s par les hommes, comme les STIM<\/a>, ces pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s sont aggrav\u00e9s par les st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes de genre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme le montrent les r\u00e9sultats de cette \u00e9valuation pilote, la plateforme Comp\u00e9tences &amp; Carri\u00e8res Futures est un outil efficace pour aider les jeunes \u00e0 explorer des options de carri\u00e8res, \u00e0 acc\u00e9der \u00e0 du mentorat et \u00e0 envisager un avenir diff\u00e9rent pour eux-m\u00eames.
