comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques avanc\u00e9es est en croissance. Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette demande, le Georgian College souhaitait se moderniser. Guid\u00e9 par une strat\u00e9gie de transformation num\u00e9rique, ce projet a consist\u00e9 \u00e0 int\u00e9grer des technologies de r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00e9tendue (RE) \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle du campus pour am\u00e9liorer l\u2019enseignement et l\u2019apprentissage, la collaboration \u00e0 distance et les outils de travail quotidiens. Il a \u00e9galement examin\u00e9 le potentiel de la RE \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des exp\u00e9riences \u00e9ducatives inclusives pour ses \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants issus de la diversit\u00e9 \u00e0 sept campus du centre de l\u2019Ontario, en particulier pour les communaut\u00e9s sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les programmes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en \u0153uvre dans le cadre de trois projets pilotes \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle du coll\u00e8ge, dans un d\u00e9partement et dans un cours. Le projet a utilis\u00e9 une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019applications de r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle (RV), de r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00e9tendue et de r\u00e9alit\u00e9 mixte. Au total, plus de 300&nbsp;casques de RV ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s dans le cadre du programme. Un \u00ab\u2009campus virtuel du R\u00e9seau de recherche sur l\u2019apprentissage immersif \u00bb\u2009\u00bb, qui a accueilli des cours, des \u00e9v\u00e8nements et d\u2019autres exp\u00e9riences, a mobilis\u00e9 1\u2009000&nbsp;\u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants et membres du corps professoral et a servi \u00e0 l\u2019enseignement de 16&nbsp;cours. \u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle d\u2019un d\u00e9partement, les programmes de RV dans un cours d\u2019anatomie humaine ont augment\u00e9 la motivation et le plaisir d\u2019apprendre de la population \u00e9tudiante, par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019enseignement 2D standard, chez un total de 21&nbsp;\u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les exp\u00e9riences et les r\u00e9sultats de ce projet offrent des le\u00e7ons \u00e0 d\u2019autres \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement qui cherchent \u00e0 int\u00e9grer des technologies similaires. Les responsables de la coordination ont identifi\u00e9 des pratiques cl\u00e9s que d\u2019autres institutions pourraient consid\u00e9rer si elles mettaient \u00e9galement en \u0153uvre ce type de technologies. Dans les milieux \u00e9ducatifs, les technologies de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00e9tendue (RE) peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es comme outils d\u2019apprentissage immersifs et interactifs. Elles sont utiles dans l\u2019enseignement de contenus li\u00e9s aux arrangements spatiaux&nbsp;3D (par exemple en ing\u00e9nierie, fabrication et anatomie) et pour la formation proc\u00e9durale (y compris la formation \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, l\u2019assemblage m\u00e9canique, les r\u00e9parations). Ces technologies peuvent \u00e9galement simuler des sc\u00e9narios trop co\u00fbteux, peu pratiques ou dangereux pour \u00eatre reproduits dans la vie r\u00e9elle. Des \u00e9tudes ont montr\u00e9 l\u2019impact potentiel de la RE sur les r\u00e9sultats d\u2019apprentissage, comme l\u2019efficacit\u00e9, la motivation et l\u2019engagement. Dans les milieux \u00e9ducatifs, il y a un danger de voir la RE utilis\u00e9e simplement parce qu\u2019elle est r\u00e9cente, sans \u00e9gard pour son efficacit\u00e9 ou la mani\u00e8re optimale de l\u2019implanter et de l\u2019int\u00e9grer dans ces milieux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Georgian College s\u2019est dot\u00e9 d\u2019une strat\u00e9gie de transformation num\u00e9rique visant \u00e0 moderniser ses programmes d\u2019enseignement. Le coll\u00e8ge, situ\u00e9 dans le centre de l\u2019Ontario, compte sept campus et une population \u00e9tudiante de plus de 13\u2009500&nbsp;personnes \u00e0 temps plein. Sa strat\u00e9gie privil\u00e9gie l\u2019inclusion afin que tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient de la RE, en particulier ceux issus des communaut\u00e9s rurales et des groupes sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s, comme les peuples autochtones, les personnes nouvellement arriv\u00e9es, 2SLGBTQIA+, jeunes et handicap\u00e9es. Le coll\u00e8ge visait \u00e0 moderniser ses campus et ses programmes \u00e9ducatifs. Il a mis en \u0153uvre des technologies de RE \u00e0 trois niveaux&nbsp;: \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle du coll\u00e8ge, dans un d\u00e9partement et dans un cours. Chaque projet comprenait une \u00e9tude pilote visant \u00e0 examiner les effets de la technologie utilis\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le premier projet pilote a permis \u00e0 tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves du coll\u00e8ge et \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble du corps enseignant d\u2019avoir acc\u00e8s \u00e0 plusieurs appareils et applications en RE. Une des applications \u00e9tait un \u00ab\u2009campus virtuel du R\u00e9seau de recherche sur l\u2019apprentissage immersif\u2009\u00bb, qui comportait des espaces pour enseigner, tenir des r\u00e9unions, tenir des conf\u00e9rences et socialiser. Un autre \u00e9tait Bodyswaps, un outil qui permettait aux apprenantes et apprenants de mettre en pratique des comp\u00e9tences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le deuxi\u00e8me projet pilote s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 au d\u00e9partement de la sant\u00e9, du mieux-\u00eatre et des sciences, pour les \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiantes suivant un cours d\u2019anatomie humaine dans les programmes de soins infirmiers, param\u00e9dicaux ou biotech sant\u00e9. Un groupe d\u2019\u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisi au hasard pour utiliser la RV, avec 3D Organon et BodyMap. Un groupe de comparaison a re\u00e7u une anatomie 2D standard sur un PC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le troisi\u00e8me projet pilote s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 dans un cours obligatoire en communications avec la participation de plus de 800&nbsp;\u00e9l\u00e8ves. Il s\u2019agissait d\u2019un logiciel d\u2019apprentissage adaptatif qui personnalisait l\u2019exp\u00e9rience d\u2019apprentissage de chaque personne en fonction de ses performances et de sa compr\u00e9hension du contenu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les principales questions de recherche \u00e9taient les suivantes&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>L\u2019exposition et la participation \u00e0 la RE am\u00e9liorent-elles l\u2019attitude et le confort du personnel et du corps professoral \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de la RE au fil du temps\u2009?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La RE peut-elle \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e pour accroitre l\u2019empathie et r\u00e9duire les obstacles pour les groupes sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans la communaut\u00e9 coll\u00e9giale\u2009?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comment la RV peut-elle \u00eatre mise en \u0153uvre dans les domaines de la sant\u00e9, du bien-\u00eatre et des sciences pour am\u00e9liorer l\u2019apprentissage et les comp\u00e9tences des \u00e9l\u00e8ves\u2009?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comment un logiciel d\u2019apprentissage adaptatif (par exemple, Cerego) peut-il am\u00e9liorer les performances des \u00e9l\u00e8ves dans un cours obligatoire\u2009?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Chaque projet pilote disposait de ses propres outils d\u2019\u00e9valuation, notamment des sondages \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle du coll\u00e8ge, des sondages avant et apr\u00e8s l\u2019exp\u00e9rience et les r\u00e9sultats des \u00e9l\u00e8ves aux tests.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"what-were-learning\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheResult\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240819\" style=\"width: 24px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Fill-1-1.svg\" alt=\"\"> Ce que nous apprenons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet de strat\u00e9gie de transformation num\u00e9rique du Georgian College a d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 plus de 300&nbsp;casques de r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle et diverses applications de RE dans l\u2019ensemble du coll\u00e8ge. La technologie de RV a \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9e dans quatre domaines de programme sp\u00e9cifiques. Un \u00ab\u2009campus virtuel du R\u00e9seau de recherche sur l\u2019apprentissage immersif\u2009\u00bb a attir\u00e9 plus de 1\u2009000&nbsp;participantes et participants, a servi \u00e0 neuf cours et \u00e0 de nombreux \u00e9v\u00e8nements, et a accueilli des centaines de visiteurs externes \u00e0 deux conf\u00e9rences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au niveau du coll\u00e8ge, un sondage a indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019environ 35&nbsp;% des professeures et professeurs et des \u00e9l\u00e8ves avaient utilis\u00e9 la RV au cours de la derni\u00e8re ann\u00e9e, bien que le sondage ait eu un faible taux de r\u00e9ponse de 100&nbsp;personnes. Une majorit\u00e9 de professeurs ont convenu que la RV ou la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u00e9tendue am\u00e9liorerait l\u2019apprentissage des \u00e9l\u00e8ves. Parmi les \u00e9l\u00e8ves, environ la moiti\u00e9 des r\u00e9pondantes et r\u00e9pondants estiment que la RV est importante en classe et dans le milieu de travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet pilote du cours d\u2019anatomie humaine du programme menant \u00e0 un dipl\u00f4me en sant\u00e9, bien-\u00eatre et sciences comptait 21&nbsp;\u00e9l\u00e8ves. La RV a consid\u00e9rablement augment\u00e9 la motivation et le plaisir d\u2019apprendre dans le groupe utilisant la RV par rapport au groupe de comparaison. Il n\u2019y a pas eu de rapport sur les r\u00e9sultats obtenus avec le logiciel d\u2019apprentissage adaptatif dans le cours obligatoire sur les communications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9quipe du projet a identifi\u00e9 cinq pratiques recommand\u00e9es pour les initiatives qui cherchent \u00e0 introduire la RE dans des contextes \u00e9ducatifs&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Se concentrer sur l\u2019inclusion et l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9 \u2014 <\/strong>Aligner les initiatives de RE sur les objectifs institutionnels en mati\u00e8re d\u2019EDI. Pour am\u00e9liorer l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9, assurez-vous que les exp\u00e9riences de RE r\u00e9pondent aux besoins d\u2019usag\u00e8res et usagers diversifi\u00e9s.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Privil\u00e9gier la collaboration et la formation entre les services \u2014 <\/strong>Cr\u00e9er une \u00e9quipe interdisciplinaire d\u00e9di\u00e9e pour r\u00e9ussir la mise en \u0153uvre de la RE. Une formation et un d\u00e9veloppement professionnel constants pour le corps professoral et le personnel sont \u00e9galement essentiels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>D\u00e9velopper un processus d\u2019int\u00e9gration global \u2014 <\/strong>Fournir une orientation d\u00e9taill\u00e9e sur le mat\u00e9riel et les logiciels de RE. Le rapport sur le projet fournit des conseils d\u00e9taill\u00e9s sur la s\u00e9lection du mat\u00e9riel et des logiciels, les questions \u00e9thiques, les recommandations techniques et la mobilisation des connaissances, \u00e0 l\u2019intention d\u2019autres \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement qui envisagent d\u2019utiliser la RE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet a nettement montr\u00e9 comment on peut s\u2019aligner sur les objectifs institutionnels en mati\u00e8re d\u2019EDI en travaillant en collaboration avec le directeur de l\u2019EDI et en utilisant des outils comme l\u2019outil Analyse comparative entre les sexes plus pour \u00e9valuer les nouvelles technologies de RE.
