persistent entre les Autochtones et les non-Autochtones au Canada, Workforce Warriors Inc. a lanc\u00e9 le projet \u00ab\u2009Le d\u00e9veloppement du leadership pour les communaut\u00e9s autochtones\u2009\u00bb. Pour \u00e9laborer le projet, l\u2019\u00e9quipe a adopt\u00e9 les recommandations du Rapport d\u2019\u00e9tape sur l\u2019\u00e9conomie des Autochtones&nbsp;2019 concernant la formation professionnelle, le leadership autochtone et le mentorat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce projet de leadership dirig\u00e9 par des Autochtones visait \u00e0 servir les Autochtones de tous \u00e2ges. Le projet a commenc\u00e9 par une recherche visant \u00e0 comprendre les attentes des communaut\u00e9s autochtones en regard d\u2019un programme de leadership. \u00c0 l\u2019aide de ces r\u00e9sultats, l\u2019\u00e9quipe a utilis\u00e9 une approche autochtone pour l\u2019\u00e9laboration la programmation, qui comprenait un programme d\u2019apprentissage pr\u00e9coce de la musique et des arts visuels, un programme int\u00e9gr\u00e9 d\u2019apprentissage en milieu de travail dans les m\u00e9tiers de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et des \u00e9nergies renouvelables et un programme visant \u00e0 connecter les A\u00een\u00e9es et A\u00een\u00e9s de diff\u00e9rentes communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Le programme a mobilis\u00e9 16&nbsp;organisations, int\u00e9gr\u00e9 six partenaires de projet et recrut\u00e9 plus de 154&nbsp;participantes et participants. L\u2019approche autochtone comprenait une formation culturelle et linguistique ainsi que de la formation professionnelle, des conseils de la part des a\u00een\u00e9es et a\u00een\u00e9s, et le double regard qui int\u00e9grait les points de vue autochtones et non autochtones. Bien que cette approche ait n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 plus de temps et de flexibilit\u00e9 que pr\u00e9vu, elle a conduit \u00e0 un engagement et \u00e0 un succ\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group key-insights-grey has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#0000000d\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Perspectives cl\u00e9s<\/strong><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px;margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No.svg\" alt=\"\">Workforce Warriors a mobilis\u00e9 16&nbsp;organisations, int\u00e9gr\u00e9 cinq partenaires de projet et recrut\u00e9 154&nbsp;participantes et participants dans le cadre de son projet d\u2019autochtonisation du d\u00e9veloppement de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-1.svg\" alt=\"\">Dans le cadre de ce projet, l\u2019approche autochtone comprenait des programmes culturels et linguistiques, ainsi que de la formation professionnelle, une orientation dispens\u00e9e par les A\u00een\u00e9es et A\u00een\u00e9s dans tous les programmes et l\u2019application de l\u2019approche du double regard, qui int\u00e9grait les points de vue autochtones et non autochtones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-2.svg\" alt=\"\">L\u2019autochtonisation du projet \u00e9tait essentielle pour assurer le succ\u00e8s et l\u2019engagement des partenaires et des employeurs autochtones et non autochtones, mais ce processus d\u2019adaptation a requis du temps et de la souplesse.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"the-issue\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheChallenge\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240812\" style=\"width: 12px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vector-2.svg\" alt=\"\"> L\u2019enjeu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.niedb-cndea.ca\/fr\/resources\/indigenous-economic-progress-report\/\"><em>Rapport d\u2019\u00e9tape sur l\u2019\u00e9conomie des Autochtones&nbsp;2019<\/em><\/a>, qui fournit une analyse de l\u2019\u00e9conomie autochtone au Canada, a \u00e9t\u00e9 un facteur de motivation pour ce projet. Cette analyse, publi\u00e9e \u00e0 quelques ann\u00e9es d\u2019intervalle par le Conseil national de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique des Autochtones, a montr\u00e9 que les \u00e9carts \u00e9conomiques entre les Canadiennes et Canadiens autochtones et non autochtones sont toujours r\u00e9pandus. Le rapport recommandait un soutien \u00e9ducatif et le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences. Il a \u00e9galement recommand\u00e9 de mettre en valeur des exemples de leadership autochtone r\u00e9ussis, \u00ab\u2009le mentorat et le leadership devraient \u00eatre encourag\u00e9s pour permettre aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves d\u2019envisager le r\u00f4le de l\u2019\u00e9ducation dans leur r\u00e9ussite future\u2009\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bien qu\u2019il existe des programmes de leadership et de mentorat pour les Autochtones, ils n\u2019ont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas \u00e9t\u00e9 dirig\u00e9s par des Autochtones. Alors qu\u2019ils sont bien intentionn\u00e9s, ces programmes n\u2019int\u00e8grent pas n\u00e9cessairement les perspectives autochtones ou ne refl\u00e8tent pas les modes de connaissance et d\u2019\u00eatre autochtones. L\u2019objectif global du projet \u00e9tait de mettre \u00e0 l\u2019essai l\u2019id\u00e9e que des programmes autochtonis\u00e9s pouvaient \u00eatre \u00e9labor\u00e9s pour profiter \u00e0 la fois aux Autochtones et aux non Autochtones. Le projet englobait tous les groupes d\u2019\u00e2ge, en mettant l\u2019accent sur les jeunes, les femmes et les personnes bispirituelles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet a commenc\u00e9 par une recherche visant \u00e0 comprendre ce dont les communaut\u00e9s autochtones ont besoin et ce qu\u2019elles attendent d\u2019un programme de leadership. Dans la phase suivante, l\u2019\u00e9quipe a utilis\u00e9 les r\u00e9sultats de la recherche pour \u00e9laborer un mod\u00e8le de leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plusieurs \u00e9l\u00e9ments cl\u00e9s ont fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 l\u2019approche du projet, dont l\u2019\u00e9tablissement de relations solides avec les communaut\u00e9s autochtones. De plus, les A\u00een\u00e9es et A\u00een\u00e9s et les gardiennes et gardiens du savoir ont \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9s \u00e0 tous les aspects de la programmation. Le projet a int\u00e9gr\u00e9 l\u2019approche du double regard de mani\u00e8re significative dans l\u2019ensemble des programmes et des activit\u00e9s \u00e9ducatives. Cette approche utilise intentionnellement deux perspectives&nbsp;: autochtone et non autochtone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les principaux volets du programme \u00e9taient les suivants&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Un programme d\u2019apprentissage pr\u00e9coce int\u00e9grant la musique et les arts visuels.<\/em> Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la 5<sup>e\u00a0<\/sup>ann\u00e9e, les enfants ont appris des concepts \u00e9ducatifs en \u00e9tant immerg\u00e9s dans des programmes linguistiques et culturels dirig\u00e9s par des A\u00een\u00e9es et A\u00een\u00e9s et des gardiennes et gardiens\u00a0du savoir.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>L\u2019AIT pour r\u00e9ussir.<\/em> Ce programme d\u2019apprentissage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au travail a permis aux jeunes de d\u00e9couvrir des carri\u00e8res potentielles dans les m\u00e9tiers de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et des \u00e9nergies renouvelables. Il comprenait un apprentissage th\u00e9orique et exp\u00e9rientiel, ainsi qu\u2019un enseignement culturel par des A\u00een\u00e9es et A\u00een\u00e9s et des gardiennes et gardiens\u00a0du savoir.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Les A\u00een\u00e9es et A\u00een\u00e9s se rencontrent. Une trentaine de jeunes ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 une formation dans les m\u00e9tiers de l\u2019\u00e9nergie renouvelable et de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019exp\u00e9rience du projet a montr\u00e9 l\u2019importance d\u2019une approche holistique et autochtone pour la r\u00e9ussite des programmes. Pour Workforce Warriors, cela a renforc\u00e9 le pouvoir de l\u2019utilisation de l\u2019approche du double regard. Cette approche a \u00e9t\u00e9 b\u00e9n\u00e9fique non seulement pour les participantes et participants au programme, mais les organisations et les \u00e9tablissements partenaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9ress\u00e9s et r\u00e9ceptifs \u00e0 l\u2019approche. Le r\u00f4le de Workforce Warriors \u00e9tait d\u2019agir en tant que partenaire et guide aupr\u00e8s des communaut\u00e9s.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reconnaitre que les besoins diff\u00e8rent d\u2019une communaut\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019autre. Par exemple, certaines collectivit\u00e9s ont accord\u00e9 la priorit\u00e9 aux programmes destin\u00e9s aux jeunes, tandis que d\u2019autres estimaient que des programmes destin\u00e9s aux A\u00een\u00e9es et A\u00een\u00e9s \u00e9taient n\u00e9cessaires. Certaines communaut\u00e9s \u00e9taient pr\u00eates \u00e0 recevoir des programmes, tandis que d\u2019autres ne l\u2019\u00e9taient pas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Le succ\u00e8s du programme de musique pour \u00e9tablir la confiance a \u00e9t\u00e9 un r\u00e9sultat inattendu. Cela a ouvert la voie pour d\u2019autres programmes Workforce Warriors et a \u00e9t\u00e9 au c\u0153ur de ses plans d\u2019expansion, en particulier dans le Nord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9quipe a \u00e9galement identifi\u00e9 des activit\u00e9s qui auraient pu jeter des bases plus solides pour son travail. L\u2019engagement significatif, l\u2019\u00e9tablissement de relations et la contribution des communaut\u00e9s sont les facteurs les plus importants\u2009; ceux-ci permettent de s\u2019assurer que les voix autochtones contribuent \u00e0 tous les aspects de la conception et de la mise en \u0153uvre du programme. Dans le cadre de ce projet, les A\u00een\u00e9es et A\u00een\u00e9s sont devenus une partie int\u00e9grante de l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019initiative. L\u2019acquisition du langage et le d\u00e9veloppement culturel \u00e9taient int\u00e9gr\u00e9s dans toutes les activit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour assurer la durabilit\u00e9, il est \u00e9galement important de s\u2019assurer que les programmes propos\u00e9s s\u2019harmonisent avec les plans des communaut\u00e9s autochtones en appuyant les priorit\u00e9s identifi\u00e9es par les communaut\u00e9s et sur lesquelles elles travaillent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet a \u00e9galement montr\u00e9 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de travailler avec des partenaires et des employeurs non autochtones et de les soutenir afin de cr\u00e9er des espaces psychologiquement s\u00e9curitaires pour les travailleuses et travailleurs autochtones.
