services d\u2019emploi au Canada \u00e9volue, une approche plus efficace et simplifi\u00e9e de l\u2019adoption et de l\u2019utilisation des technologies pourrait soutenir les jeunes en recherche d\u2019emploi et les fournisseurs de services d\u2019emploi. Les fournisseurs de services sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 un large \u00e9ventail d\u2019outils num\u00e9riques qui pourraient les aider dans leur travail, mais ils peuvent se sentir h\u00e9sitants ou non \u00e9quip\u00e9s en regard de leur utilisation. Les personnes en recherche d\u2019emploi entrent dans un monde o\u00f9 les carri\u00e8res non lin\u00e9aires sont de plus en plus courantes et o\u00f9 les jeunes ne sont peut-\u00eatre pas conscients de toutes les options offertes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019Ontario Tourism Education Corporation (OTEC), en collaboration avec MaRS Discovery District et First Work, a mis sur pied Project Integrate afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me des services d\u2019emploi pour les jeunes au Canada. L\u2019initiative a adopt\u00e9 une approche \u00e9cosyst\u00e9mique pour comprendre l\u2019utilisation de la technologie chez les fournisseurs de services d\u2019emploi et a explor\u00e9 l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019un parcours unique d\u2019emploi et de formation ax\u00e9 sur la technologie pour les jeunes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un sondage men\u00e9 dans le cadre du projet a montr\u00e9 que plus de 350&nbsp;outils num\u00e9riques \u00e9taient utilis\u00e9s par les fournisseurs, un nombre qui a probablement augment\u00e9 depuis. Les obstacles et les catalyseurs \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation de la technologie ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en \u00e9vidence aux niveaux individuel, organisationnel et syst\u00e9mique. Un essai sur le terrain de deux outils num\u00e9riques \u2014 une \u00e9valuation psychom\u00e9trique et une plateforme d\u2019avancement de carri\u00e8re \u2014 a permis d\u2019accroitre les connaissances et la motivation de la majorit\u00e9 des 850&nbsp;personnes en recherche d\u2019emploi qui les ont essay\u00e9s. En collaboration avec des fournisseurs d\u2019emploi de partout au pays, on a identifi\u00e9 un cheminement de carri\u00e8re en cinq phases distinctes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Les r\u00e9sultats du projet sugg\u00e8rent que l\u2019utilisation de la technologie pour soutenir l\u2019emploi des jeunes pourrait \u00eatre am\u00e9lior\u00e9e si les obstacles \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation \u00e9taient \u00e9limin\u00e9s et si les fournisseurs de services comprenaient les avantages et \u00e9taient mieux \u00e9quip\u00e9s pour naviguer dans les outils. Des initiatives et des programmes de financement f\u00e9d\u00e9raux ont cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 relever les d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s aux comp\u00e9tences partout au pays. Cependant, le syst\u00e8me demeure en grande partie disparate en ce qui concerne les besoins et les capacit\u00e9s technologiques des jeunes. Diverses \u00e9tudes ont mis en \u00e9vidence la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019une approche plus unifi\u00e9e et plus globale des services d\u2019emploi. Un autre d\u00e9fi est que la prestation des services d\u2019emploi se fait \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle locale, dans un r\u00e9seau complexe et stratifi\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les parcours professionnels non lin\u00e9aires sont de plus en plus courants. Les jeunes en recherche d\u2019emploi ne sont peut-\u00eatre pas au courant des nouvelles possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019emploi ou ne sont pas en mesure de reconnaitre que leur propre exp\u00e9rience est transf\u00e9rable. C\u2019est particuli\u00e8rement vrai pour les jeunes qui s\u2019int\u00e9ressent aux carri\u00e8res dans le tourisme et l\u2019h\u00f4tellerie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019utilisation efficace des outils num\u00e9riques et une solide compr\u00e9hension des obstacles individuels, organisationnels et syst\u00e9miques pourraient permettre une approche plus syst\u00e9matique et int\u00e9gr\u00e9e. En collaboration avec des fournisseurs de services d\u2019emploi de partout au Canada, le projet a examin\u00e9&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Le paysage actuel des outils num\u00e9riques utilis\u00e9s dans les services d\u2019emploi.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les obstacles et les catalyseurs \u00e0 l\u2019adoption de la technologie par les fournisseurs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La valeur per\u00e7ue de deux technologies sp\u00e9cifiques par les personnes en recherche d\u2019emploi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Une des technologies \u00e9tudi\u00e9es par le projet \u00e9tait ALiGN, une \u00e9valuation psychom\u00e9trique permettant d\u2019explorer les traits de personnalit\u00e9 et les int\u00e9r\u00eats. L\u2019autre \u00e9tait planext, une plateforme d\u2019avancement de carri\u00e8re qui identifiait les opportunit\u00e9s d\u2019emploi et les cheminements de carri\u00e8re potentiels, les comp\u00e9tences et l\u2019exp\u00e9rience n\u00e9cessaires pour saisir ces opportunit\u00e9s, et des liens vers des formations pertinentes. Le sondage a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les fournisseurs de services d\u2019emploi utilisent plus de 350&nbsp;outils d\u2019emploi diff\u00e9rents. En fait, les responsables du projet ont not\u00e9 que le nombre d\u2019outils a probablement augment\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on spectaculaire pendant et apr\u00e8s la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lors de la premi\u00e8re phase d\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation sur le terrain, 300&nbsp;demandeurs d\u2019emploi ont test\u00e9 soit ALiGN, l\u2019\u00e9valuation psychom\u00e9trique, soit planext, la plateforme d\u2019avancement de carri\u00e8re. Dans la deuxi\u00e8me phase, 850&nbsp;personnes en recherche d\u2019emploi ont utilis\u00e9 les deux outils. De plus, 85&nbsp;% se sentaient plus motiv\u00e9es dans leur parcours professionnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les obstacles et les catalyseurs \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation de la technologie<\/strong><br>Pour les usag\u00e8res et usagers individuels, les principaux obstacles \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation \u00e9taient le manque de clart\u00e9 de la valeur de l\u2019outil et un plus grand fardeau administratif. Les principaux catalyseurs \u00e9taient la technologie pertinente et les syst\u00e8mes conviviaux.
