Coll\u00e8ge Humber visant la Ma\u00eetrise des comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques par les travailleurs (Digital Fluency for the Workforce) a combl\u00e9 un retard majeur sur le march\u00e9 du travail canadien, retard encore aggrav\u00e9 par la rapidit\u00e9 des transformations technologiques. Son objectif : renforcer la ma\u00eetrise des comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques au sein de groupes d\u00e9mographiques sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s, notamment les jeunes, les nouveaux arrivants, les personnes racis\u00e9es et celles ayant des lacunes dans les comp\u00e9tences essentielles. Ce projet a ainsi consist\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9tablir une s\u00e9rie de microcertifications gratuites et cumulables dans le domaine num\u00e9rique afin de donner les moyens \u00e0 ces groupes d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 l\u2019emploi et d\u2019\u00e9voluer sur le march\u00e9 du travail, et d\u2019offrir aux employeurs la possibilit\u00e9 de recruter et de maintenir en poste, de mani\u00e8re rapide et rentable, des travailleurs dot\u00e9s de comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La prestation \u00e9tait propos\u00e9e sous deux formes : enti\u00e8rement en ligne ou en mode hybride. Cette approche a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le crucial dans la capacit\u00e9 du programme de s\u2019adapter aux pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences d\u2019apprentissage et contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9 et l\u2019implication des participants. L\u2019initiative a servi 315 apprenants, soit plus que sa cible initiale, et d\u00e9livr\u00e9 566 microcertifications, preuve que ce mod\u00e8le peut \u00eatre d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle \u00e0 l\u2019appui du perfectionnement de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me d\u2019\u00e9valuation et de reconnaissance des acquis (\u00c9RA) s\u2019est r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement efficace en offrant une passerelle vers le perfectionnement des comp\u00e9tences. Les apprenants ont d\u00e9but\u00e9 au niveau de formation le plus adapt\u00e9, de sorte que les plus avanc\u00e9s gagnent du temps tout en permettant aux personnes ayant besoin d\u2019un accompagnement suppl\u00e9mentaire d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir des comp\u00e9tences plus \u00e9l\u00e9mentaires. Cette approche tenant compte des comp\u00e9tences pr\u00e9alables a acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 le processus d\u2019apprentissage de nombreuses personnes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">La r\u00e9troaction des participants a soulign\u00e9 la valeur des microcertifications cumulables et insist\u00e9 sur l\u2019importance d\u2019offrir en sus des soutiens complets aux demandeurs d\u2019emploi. Par ailleurs, les constatations du projet ont mis en \u00e9vidence l\u2019importance que les membres de l\u2019\u00e9quipe de formation et du personnel du programme fassent preuve de bienveillance, d\u2019ouverture et d\u2019expertise pour assurer la r\u00e9ussite des apprenants et le succ\u00e8s du programme. Dans l\u2019ensemble, ce projet a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 des microcertifications et du syst\u00e8me \u00c9RA dans l\u2019optique de combler les lacunes num\u00e9riques et fourni des enseignements sur la mani\u00e8re d\u2019adapter des mod\u00e8les p\u00e9dagogiques similaires dans d\u2019autres secteurs \u00e0 l\u2019appui d\u2019un perfectionnement rapide des comp\u00e9tences. En outre, ce projet a soulign\u00e9 l\u2019importance d\u2019offrir des modalit\u00e9s d\u2019apprentissage souples et d\u2019int\u00e9grer des services de soutien pour favoriser la transition vers l\u2019emploi des participants. Cette situation a exacerb\u00e9 les difficult\u00e9s que rencontraient les employeurs pour embaucher des travailleurs ayant les comp\u00e9tences requises, en particulier dans le domaine des technologies num\u00e9riques. Dans le m\u00eame temps, les personnes ne ma\u00eetrisant pas les comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques de base \u2013 et, de ce fait, grandement d\u00e9favoris\u00e9es \u2013 peinaient \u00e0 trouver un emploi dans une \u00e9conomie de plus en plus ax\u00e9e sur le num\u00e9rique. Un probl\u00e8me qui touchait particuli\u00e8rement les jeunes, les nouveaux arrivants, les personnes ayant des lacunes dans les comp\u00e9tences essentielles et les communaut\u00e9s racis\u00e9es, soit des groupes devant souvent composer avec d\u2019autres obstacles entravant leur acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019emploi et aux occasions de formation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avant le lancement de ce projet visant la ma\u00eetrise des comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques par les travailleurs, les syst\u00e8mes d\u2019\u00e9ducation et de formation disponibles ne r\u00e9pondaient pas pleinement au besoin urgent de renforcement des comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques. Souvent, les programmes traditionnels s\u2019\u00e9talaient sur une longue p\u00e9riode et \u00e9taient inabordables, en particulier pour les personnes issues de groupes ayant droit \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9. Ces derni\u00e8res visaient \u00e0 d\u00e9finir la ma\u00eetrise des comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques, \u00e0 comprendre comment l\u2019acqu\u00e9rir et l\u2019\u00e9valuer, et \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer la faisabilit\u00e9 de mise en place de programmes de formation intersectoriels. Ces interrogations ont servi \u00e0 orienter l\u2019approche strat\u00e9gique et m\u00e9thodologique du projet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les principales parties prenantes \u00e9taient le Coll\u00e8ge Humber et Emploi Ontario, ainsi que divers partenaires sectoriels et organismes communautaires. Ce projet avait pour double objectif : 1) de cr\u00e9er et de mettre \u00e0 l\u2019essai des microcertifications cumulables visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la ma\u00eetrise des comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques chez les groupes sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s afin de favoriser les transitions professionnelles et 2) d\u2019aider les employeurs \u00e0 attirer et \u00e0 maintenir en poste des travailleurs dot\u00e9s de comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce projet reposait sur une strat\u00e9gie de microcertification tenant compte des acquis. Les coordonnateurs ont mis \u00e0 l\u2019essai cette approche aux stades de l\u2019\u00e9laboration du programme d\u2019\u00e9tudes, de la participation des apprenants et de la r\u00e9troaction des employeurs. Deux mod\u00e8les d\u2019enseignement ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s : l\u2019un enti\u00e8rement en ligne et l\u2019autre en mode hybride, alliant apprentissage en ligne synchrone et asynchrone. Cette approche avait pour but de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la diversit\u00e9 des besoins en mati\u00e8re de style d\u2019apprentissage, d\u2019accro\u00eetre la participation et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9. La r\u00e9troaction des participants et des employeurs recueillie tout au long du projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 essentielle pour affiner le contenu de la formation et les modes de prestation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"what-were-learning\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheResult\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240819\" style=\"width: 24px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Fill-1-1.svg\" alt=\"\"> Ce que nous apprenons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette initiative se caract\u00e9risait notamment par la mise en \u0153uvre d\u2019un syst\u00e8me d\u2019\u00e9valuation et de reconnaissance des acquis (\u00c9RA) : ce dernier tenant compte des comp\u00e9tences existantes, il a permis d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le processus d\u2019apprentissage de 98 participants. Ainsi, 80 ont pu commencer au niveau 2 et 18 ont acc\u00e9d\u00e9 directement au niveau 3. Outre l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration du processus d\u2019apprentissage, cette approche a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le crucial dans la r\u00e9ussite g\u00e9n\u00e9rale du projet, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 que 74 % des participants \u00e9taient des apprenants de premi\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. Cela souligne la valeur que rev\u00eat cette formation pour les personnes suivant des \u00e9tudes apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e9cole secondaire pour la premi\u00e8re fois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette initiative a attir\u00e9 un groupe diversifi\u00e9 de participants, m\u00eame si les coordonnateurs s\u2019attendaient \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019un plus grand nombre de jeunes. Les participants (majoritairement des femmes) se situaient pour la plupart dans la tranche des 40 \u00e0 59 ans, reflet de l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat de ce programme aux yeux des personnes d\u2019\u00e2ge m\u00fbr souhaitant r\u00e9int\u00e9grer la population active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De l\u2019avis des coordonnateurs du projet, les participants (notamment les membres de la premi\u00e8re cohorte d\u2019apprenants) ont eu besoin d\u2019un accompagnement individuel au-del\u00e0 du soutien p\u00e9dagogique fourni par les formateurs animant les sessions synchrones\/asynchrones, ce qui souligne l\u2019importance de renforcer les syst\u00e8mes de soutien mis \u00e0 la disposition de ces apprenants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 ces obstacles, la r\u00e9troaction concernant le syst\u00e8me \u00c9RA s\u2019est r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9e extr\u00eamement positive, insistant sur l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 du processus de reconnaissance des acquis et sur l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration connexe du parcours p\u00e9dagogique de nombreux participants. La collaboration avec les services d\u2019emploi a \u00e9t\u00e9 jug\u00e9e b\u00e9n\u00e9fique, dans la mesure o\u00f9 elle a permis aux participants d\u2019obtenir un soutien essentiel qui a facilit\u00e9 leur transition vers l\u2019emploi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En conclusion, le projet visant la ma\u00eetrise des comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques par les travailleurs a d\u00e9pass\u00e9 ses objectifs de participation, signe du pr\u00e9cieux int\u00e9r\u00eat des formations et des certifications. Toutefois, il a \u00e9galement mis en \u00e9vidence la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019offrir un accompagnement renforc\u00e9 aux participants. Elle contribue ainsi \u00e0 combler le foss\u00e9 num\u00e9rique. Au niveau soci\u00e9tal, elle est propice \u00e0 l\u2019inclusion de bon nombre des groupes cibl\u00e9s par ce projet, tout en stimulant l\u2019innovation, la productivit\u00e9 et la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e9anmoins, l\u2019approche p\u00e9dagogique pr\u00e9dominante visant la ma\u00eetrise des comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques pr\u00e9sente divers obstacles qui emp\u00eachent de combler le foss\u00e9 num\u00e9rique auquel se heurtent les groupes ayant droit \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, notamment la dur\u00e9e prolong\u00e9e des cours, le mode de prestation en personne et les co\u00fbts prohibitifs. C\u2019est pourquoi il est important de retenir que les microcertifications cumulables sont efficaces. Faire preuve d\u2019une telle souplesse s\u2019av\u00e8re de plus en plus judicieux dans un monde o\u00f9 pr\u00e9dominent les environnements de travail hybrides et \u00e0 distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce projet a par ailleurs soulign\u00e9 l\u2019importance d\u2019\u00e9tendre l\u2019accompagnement au-del\u00e0 des cadres d\u2019apprentissage traditionnels. L\u2019int\u00e9gration de services d\u2019emploi et la prestation de soutiens complets ont grandement aid\u00e9 les participants \u00e0 acqu\u00e9rir de nouvelles comp\u00e9tences, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 les appliquer efficacement dans le but d\u2019obtenir et de conserver un emploi.
