Les jeunes Noirs ont besoin de programmes et de services d\u2019emplois adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 leur culture, qui affirment leur identit\u00e9 intersectionnelle et s\u2019attaquent aux obstacles uniques auxquels ils sont confront\u00e9s lorsqu\u2019ils naviguent sur les march\u00e9s du travail, notamment le racisme anti-noir.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce projet a impliqu\u00e9 des jeunes Noirs et des organisations communautaires&nbsp;B3 pour d\u00e9velopper la bo\u00eete \u00e0 outils Strength and Structure, destin\u00e9e \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les comp\u00e9tences et les capacit\u00e9s de prestation de services pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des jeunes Noirs \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019un emploi. Les jeunes Noirs ont besoin de programmes et de services d\u2019emplois adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 leur culture, qui affirment leur identit\u00e9 intersectionnelle et s\u2019attaquent aux obstacles particuliers qu\u2019ils rencontrent lorsqu\u2019ils naviguent sur les march\u00e9s du travail, notamment le fl\u00e9au du racisme anti-noir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les organisations dirig\u00e9es par des Noirs, au service des Noirs et centr\u00e9es sur les Noirs (B3) jouent un r\u00f4le central dans la mise en relation des jeunes Noirs avec les ressources en mati\u00e8re d\u2019emploi culturellement pertinentes dont ils ont besoin. Les groupes de discussion ont explor\u00e9 les exp\u00e9riences v\u00e9cues et les perspectives, les aspirations professionnelles, les programmes et soutiens n\u00e9cessaires et les principaux obstacles \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 partir de cette collecte de donn\u00e9es, le projet a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 la bo\u00eete \u00e0 outils \u00ab\u2009Strength and Structure\u2009\u00bb, destin\u00e9e \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les comp\u00e9tences et les capacit\u00e9s de prestation de services pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des jeunes Noirs \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019un emploi. La bo\u00eete \u00e0 outils a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 valid\u00e9e par les participants aux groupes de discussion, puis test\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s de trois organisations&nbsp;B3&nbsp;: Rise in STEM, DYLOTT et Life of Hope Foundation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"what-were-learning\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheResult\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240819\" style=\"width: 24px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Fill-1-1.svg\" alt=\"\"> Ce que nous apprenons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les jeunes Noirs et les organisations&nbsp;B3 ont soulign\u00e9 que le racisme syst\u00e9mique constituait un obstacle majeur \u00e0 leur r\u00e9ussite et qu\u2019il \u00e9tait n\u00e9cessaire de le nommer explicitement et de pr\u00e9parer les jeunes Noirs \u00e0 y faire face dans le cadre de l\u2019\u00e9ducation, de la formation et de l\u2019emploi.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019analyse documentaire a notamment permis de constater que les jeunes Noirs continuent de souffrir de disparit\u00e9s dans leurs perspectives d\u2019emploi par rapport \u00e0 d\u2019autres groupes d\u00e9mographiques de jeunes, et que ces r\u00e9sultats sont influenc\u00e9s par des exp\u00e9riences de racisme et de discrimination syst\u00e9miques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans les groupes de discussion avec les jeunes Noirs, les participants ont parl\u00e9 de la persistance du racisme anti-noir sur le lieu de travail, d\u00e9guis\u00e9 en professionnalisme et en pr\u00e9sentation, comme la pression que subissent certains demandeurs d\u2019emploi noirs pour changer de nom ou de coiffure lorsqu\u2019ils postulent \u00e0 un emploi\u2009; l\u2019accent mis par de nombreuses organisations d\u2019aide aux Noirs sur des domaines tels que le commerce de d\u00e9tail, qui offrent des emplois pr\u00e9caires, et les pr\u00e9occupations g\u00e9n\u00e9rales concernant l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 dans le processus d\u2019embauche.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans les groupes de discussion avec les organisations&nbsp;B3, les th\u00e8mes r\u00e9currents concernaient une s\u00e9rie de probl\u00e8mes affectant le secteur, tels que&nbsp;: les contraintes de capacit\u00e9 qui affectent la fiabilit\u00e9 des services communautaires\u2009; le manque d\u2019harmonisation entre les perspectives d\u2019\u00e9valuation des programmes des financeurs et des prestataires de services, les premiers pr\u00e9f\u00e9rant les donn\u00e9es quantitatives (les seconds soulignant la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de m\u00e9thodes d\u2019\u00e9valuation qualitatives holistiques)\u2009; la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019int\u00e9grer la conception participative des programmes\u2009; des ressources plus importantes pour traiter les probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 mentale chez les jeunes\u2009; et le d\u00e9sir d\u2019une plus grande connectivit\u00e9 sociale au sein des programmes et des secteurs, entre autres questions.
