pr\u00e9pos\u00e9s aux services de soutien \u00e0 la personne (PSSP) manquent souvent de possibilit\u00e9s de perfectionnement professionnel appropri\u00e9es m\u00eame s\u2019ils jouent un r\u00f4le crucial dans le syst\u00e8me de soins de sant\u00e9 de l\u2019Ontario, surtout face \u00e0 de nouveaux d\u00e9fis comme la pand\u00e9mie. Pour combler cette lacune, l\u2019\u00e9quipe de l\u2019University Health Network (UNH) a collabor\u00e9 avec des partenaires, nouveaux et existants, pour \u00e9laborer et lancer des ressources d\u2019\u00e9ducation et de d\u00e9fense des droits afin d\u2019accroitre les comp\u00e9tences, la confiance et la r\u00e9silience des pr\u00e9pos\u00e9s aux services de soutien \u00e0 la personne dans la prestation de soins s\u00e9curitaires et efficaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre 2021 et 2023, l\u2019\u00e9quipe de l\u2019UNH a collabor\u00e9 avec cinq partenaires du secteur de la sant\u00e9 pour lancer trois modules de formation et les a test\u00e9s aupr\u00e8s de 54&nbsp;pr\u00e9pos\u00e9s aux services de soutien \u00e0 la personne. Ils ont \u00e9galement collabor\u00e9 avec quatre partenaires du secteur de la sant\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9laboration et au lancement d\u2019une campagne de plaidoyer sur l\u2019\u00e9ducation des leaders d\u2019organisations. Cette approche collaborative a donn\u00e9 des r\u00e9sultats positifs\u2009; les modules ont \u00e9t\u00e9 bien accueillis, et les pr\u00e9pos\u00e9es et pr\u00e9pos\u00e9s aux services de soutien \u00e0 la personne ont indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019ils se sentaient vus, entendus et valoris\u00e9s en participant au processus. Le projet comprenait&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une plateforme \u00e9ducative avec de nouveaux modules, \u00e9labor\u00e9s et mis \u00e0 l\u2019essai, sur la pr\u00e9vention et le contr\u00f4le des infections, la COVID-19, le bien-\u00eatre et la r\u00e9silience.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La mise en place et le renforcement de partenariats pour stimuler l\u2019engagement et de nouvelles initiatives.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Un plaidoyer en faveur de changements syst\u00e9miques par l\u2019\u00e9ducation des dirigeantes et dirigeants des organisations.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019objectif de ces activit\u00e9s du projet \u00e9tait d\u2019accroitre les comp\u00e9tences, la confiance et la r\u00e9silience des pr\u00e9pos\u00e9es et pr\u00e9pos\u00e9s aux services de soutien \u00e0 la personne pour fournir des soins s\u00fbrs et efficaces.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"what-were-learning\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheResult\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240819\" style=\"width: 24px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Fill-1-1.svg\" alt=\"\"> <strong>Ce que nous apprenons<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9quipe de l\u2019UHN a con\u00e7u, \u00e9labor\u00e9 et mis \u00e0 l\u2019essai les trois modules de formation, en incluant activement cinq partenaires cl\u00e9s du secteur de la sant\u00e9, et avec aussi la participation du personnel des niveaux subalterne et sup\u00e9rieur et du conseil d\u2019administration. Les modules ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis \u00e0 l\u2019essai aupr\u00e8s de 54\u00a0pr\u00e9pos\u00e9es et pr\u00e9pos\u00e9s, qui ont fourni des commentaires dans le cadre de groupes de discussion afin de peaufiner la terminologie et de se concentrer sur le contenu. Dans l\u2019ensemble, le personnel de l\u2019UNH, les partenaires et les PSSP ont trouv\u00e9 que le contenu du module r\u00e9pondait aux besoins des pr\u00e9pos\u00e9es et pr\u00e9pos\u00e9s aux services de soutien \u00e0 la personne. Les PSSP qui ont test\u00e9 les modules se sentaient mieux outill\u00e9s pour prendre soin de leur propre bien-\u00eatre, am\u00e9liorer leurs pratiques de contr\u00f4le des infections et se sentir plus efficaces dans l\u2019utilisation des strat\u00e9gies de communication pour mieux comprendre les besoins de la client\u00e8le, tout cela gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation des outils et du contenu des modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Les publics cibles sont heureux d\u2019\u00eatre inclus dans les processus con\u00e7us \u00e0 leur intention<\/strong><br>Les partenaires du projet ont pris soin d\u2019impliquer les PSSP dans l\u2019\u00e9laboration et la mise en \u0153uvre des modules \u00e9ducatifs. Parmi les avantages indirects de leur participation dans ce projet, mentionnons le fait qu\u2019ils se sentent vus, entendus et valoris\u00e9s en participant au processus. Les pr\u00e9pos\u00e9es et pr\u00e9pos\u00e9s travaillent souvent en vase clos et n\u2019ont pas beaucoup d\u2019occasions d\u2019\u00e9changer les uns avec les autres et avec leurs coll\u00e8gues. Les discussions de groupe visant \u00e0 solliciter les commentaires directement des PSSP ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 une occasion d\u2019\u00e9changer et un sentiment de connivence entre les PSSP et ont valid\u00e9 plusieurs de leurs exp\u00e9riences personnelles sur le terrain. Quatre partenaires du secteur de la sant\u00e9 et de la formation ont \u00e9galement particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9laboration des campagnes de sensibilisation, et la Toronto Metropolitan University et le Centennial College ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la participation des \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants au processus. Compte tenu du vieillissement de la population canadienne, les PSSP continueront d\u2019\u00eatre en forte demande. Le recrutement devra augmenter, le secteur devra retenir les travailleuses et travailleurs actuellement sur le terrain et le secteur devra s\u2019assurer que les travailleuses et travailleurs ont les comp\u00e9tences dont ils ont besoin pour fournir des soins de qualit\u00e9. Le succ\u00e8s du recrutement et du maintien en poste d\u00e9pendra en grande partie des efforts visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 du travail des pr\u00e9pos\u00e9es et pr\u00e9pos\u00e9s, ce qui n\u00e9cessitera des efforts continus de d\u00e9fense des int\u00e9r\u00eats aupr\u00e8s des gouvernements provinciaux, territoriaux et f\u00e9d\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce projet est un mod\u00e8le prometteur pour le perfectionnement des pr\u00e9pos\u00e9es et pr\u00e9pos\u00e9s aux services de soutien \u00e0 la personne alors que les exigences \u00e9voluent rapidement.
