Le projet visait \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l\u2019exp\u00e9rience d\u2019apprentissage en ligne dans des domaines appliqu\u00e9s tels que les technologies de l\u2019information, l\u2019agriculture, les soins de sant\u00e9, la fabrication et l\u2019entreposage. Le succ\u00e8s de ces secteurs est essentiel au succ\u00e8s de l\u2019\u00e9conomie canadienne et d\u00e9pend traditionnellement de la formation pratique. L\u2019initiative ciblait les groupes m\u00e9ritant l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, notamment les femmes, les Autochtones, les personnes nouvellement arriv\u00e9es et les personnes handicap\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet visait \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper un environnement d\u2019apprentissage en ligne favorable capable de reproduire les avantages de l\u2019\u00e9ducation en personne. Il s\u2019agissait de cr\u00e9er du contenu num\u00e9rique interactif et des plateformes pour faciliter des interactions solides entre les \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants et l\u2019apprentissage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au travail. En 2022, 292&nbsp;\u00e9l\u00e8ves faisant partie de sept programmes y ont particip\u00e9. La Saskatchewan Polytechnic a not\u00e9 que les mod\u00e8les d\u2019\u00e9ducation en ligne existants \u00e9taient insuffisants, car ils ne disposaient pas de l\u2019engagement, de l\u2019interactivit\u00e9 et du soutien n\u00e9cessaires pour reproduire efficacement l\u2019exp\u00e9rience d\u2019apprentissage en personne. Cette prise de conscience a d\u00e9clench\u00e9 une r\u00e9\u00e9valuation de l\u2019\u00e9ducation en ligne afin de mieux r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des apprenantes et apprenants modernes et de s\u2019adapter aux perturbations de l\u2019\u00e9conomie mondiale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019institution a observ\u00e9 que certains groupes d\u00e9mographiques, notamment les femmes, les personnes nouvellement arriv\u00e9es au Canada, les personnes handicap\u00e9es et les Autochtones sont touch\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re disproportionn\u00e9e par ces lacunes en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9ducation. Ces groupes connaissent souvent des niveaux plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s de marginalisation sur le march\u00e9 du travail, exacerb\u00e9s par des niveaux d\u2019\u00e9ducation et de formation plus faibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les tentatives pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes d\u2019int\u00e9gration de l\u2019apprentissage en ligne aux secteurs de l\u2019enseignement professionnel et technique ont souvent \u00e9chou\u00e9 en raison d\u2019un manque d\u2019interaction en temps r\u00e9el et d\u2019exp\u00e9rience pratique, qui sont cruciales pour des secteurs tels que les technologies de l\u2019information, l\u2019agriculture et l\u2019approvisionnement de la chaine alimentaire, les soins de sant\u00e9, la fabrication et l\u2019entreposage, des secteurs qui jouent un r\u00f4le important dans l\u2019\u00e9conomie et qui ont un besoin urgent de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre qualifi\u00e9e. Ce projet en plusieurs phases a commenc\u00e9 avec l\u2019\u00e9laboration initiale de cours en ligne, con\u00e7us pour \u00eatre attrayants et adapt\u00e9s aux besoins de la client\u00e8le \u00e9tudiante. Les commentaires des participantes et participants ont ensuite guid\u00e9 les tests it\u00e9ratifs et le perfectionnement de ces cours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parmi les initiatives cl\u00e9s, mentionnons l\u2019\u00e9laboration d\u2019un outil num\u00e9ris\u00e9 qui reconna\u00eet les apprentissages ant\u00e9rieurs et la mise en place de soutiens virtuels pour les \u00e9l\u00e8ves, visant \u00e0 enrichir l\u2019exp\u00e9rience d\u2019apprentissage en ligne. Cependant, le projet a eu du mal \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 l\u2019extraordinaire demande avec les ressources dont il disposait.
