\u00e0 des barri\u00e8res syst\u00e9miques limitant leur participation au march\u00e9 du travail, particuli\u00e8rement dans les domaines \u00e0 forte croissance et \u00e0 hauts salaires des STIM (sciences, technologies, ing\u00e9nierie et math\u00e9matiques), tels que l&#8217;intelligence artificielle, l&#8217;\u00e9nergie renouvelable et la biotechnologie. Pour rem\u00e9dier \u00e0 ces in\u00e9galit\u00e9s, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eliteprogram.ca\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.eliteprogram.ca\/\">le programme d&#8217;apprentissage exp\u00e9rientiel en innovation, technologie et entrepreneuriat (ELITE)<\/a>, dirig\u00e9 par l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 de l&#8217;Alberta, a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 en 2021 afin de doter les jeunes Noirs (\u00e2g\u00e9s de 15 \u00e0 22 ans) de comp\u00e9tences techniques, entrepreneuriales et en mati\u00e8re de bien-\u00eatre, par le biais de stages r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s et d&#8217;un accompagnement global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><br>Au cours de la <strong>phase 1 (2021-2023)<\/strong>, le programme ELITE a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 son efficacit\u00e9 dans la cr\u00e9ation de parcours vers les carri\u00e8res en STIM gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son mod\u00e8le \u00e0 trois piliers : l&#8217;apprentissage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au travail r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9, la formation en entrepreneuriat et l&#8217;encadrement en mati\u00e8re de bien-\u00eatre. Des strat\u00e9gies de recrutement cibl\u00e9 et l&#8217;engagement communautaire ont permis d&#8217;accro\u00eetre l&#8217;inclusivit\u00e9, tandis que les \u00e9valuations internes ont guid\u00e9 le perfectionnement du programme. Sur quatre ans, 174 stagiaires ont particip\u00e9 au programme, qui s&#8217;est notamment \u00e9tendu \u00e0 l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 Carleton d&#8217;Ottawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><br>En s&#8217;appuyant sur ces r\u00e9sultats, la <strong>phase 2 (2024)<\/strong> a consist\u00e9 en une \u00e9valuation externe r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par la firme Malatest afin d&#8217;analyser les retomb\u00e9es et de documenter les meilleures pratiques. Les r\u00e9sultats ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que 77 % des participants se sentaient mieux pr\u00e9par\u00e9s pour le march\u00e9 du travail, les stages r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s \u00e9tant cit\u00e9s comme la composante la plus pr\u00e9cieuse. Le mod\u00e8le de prestation dirig\u00e9 par des personnes noires a renforc\u00e9 le mentorat et la confiance des participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><br>Dans l&#8217;ensemble, le programme ELITE repr\u00e9sente un mod\u00e8le \u00e9volutif d&#8217;apprentissage exp\u00e9rientiel inclusif qui rem\u00e9die \u00e0 la fois aux lacunes en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tences techniques et aux in\u00e9galit\u00e9s syst\u00e9miques. Les enseignements tir\u00e9s de ce projet soulignent la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de poursuivre les investissements dans les partenariats communautaires, la sensibilisation proactive et la conception de programmes adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 la culture afin de faire progresser l&#8217;\u00e9quit\u00e9, la diversit\u00e9 et l&#8217;inclusion dans l&#8217;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me des comp\u00e9tences en constante \u00e9volution au Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group key-insights-grey has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#0000000d\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Perspectives cl\u00e9s<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px;margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No.svg\" alt=\"\">Le programme ELITE est dispens\u00e9 par des professionnels noirs qui agissent \u00e0 titre de d\u00e9fenseurs, de mentors et de mod\u00e8les, favorisant ainsi des discussions plus s\u00e9curitaires autour de la sant\u00e9 mentale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-1.svg\" alt=\"\">95 % des r\u00e9pondants au programme ELITE ont maintenu leur int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les carri\u00e8res en STIM apr\u00e8s leur participation au programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px; margin-right: 16px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-2.svg\" alt=\"\">Les participants ont cit\u00e9 la gestion du stress et les comp\u00e9tences de soutien \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 mentale comme les apprentissages les plus durables de la s\u00e9rie &#8220;Mieux-\u00eatre et coaching&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"the-issue\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheChallenge\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240812\" style=\"width: 12px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vector-2.svg\" alt=\"\"> L\u2019enjeu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group flex-print is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Les jeunes Noirs continuent de faire face \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis uniques lors de leur transition vers le march\u00e9 du travail. Les Canadiens noirs sont sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s parmi les innovateurs et les professionnels des secteurs technologiques \u00e9mergents \u00e0 hauts salaires (ex. : IA, fabrication de pointe, technologies quantiques, m\u00e9decine r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rative, syst\u00e8mes d&#8217;\u00e9nergie renouvelable) et sont moins susceptibles d&#8217;\u00eatre des innovateurs entrepreneurs. Cette sous-repr\u00e9sentation est le r\u00e9sultat de barri\u00e8res telles que le racisme anti-Noir auquel les jeunes Noirs sont confront\u00e9s tout au long de leur vie, d&#8217;un acc\u00e8s limit\u00e9 aux industries de haute technologie et de structures de soutien inad\u00e9quates pour favoriser la mobilit\u00e9 socio-\u00e9conomique ascendante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Les obstacles \u00e0 la participation des personnes noires aux professions de haute technologie et \u00e0 l&#8217;entrepreneuriat sont <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mckinsey.com\/featured-insights\/diversity-and-inclusion\/the-black-experience-at-work-in-charts\">associ\u00e9s \u00e0 une probabilit\u00e9 accrue de s&#8217;orienter vers des opportunit\u00e9s dans des secteurs moins lucratifs.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Certaines institutions d&#8217;enseignement ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9laborer des programmes en sciences, technologies, ing\u00e9nierie et math\u00e9matiques (STIM) adapt\u00e9s aux jeunes Noirs; toutefois, la plupart de ces initiatives prennent la forme de programmes parascolaires destin\u00e9s aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves du primaire et du premier cycle du secondaire.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large img-gradient purple\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/university-of-alberta-elite-image-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Two young individuals high fiving while they work on a laptop.\" class=\"wp-image-166644\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"what-were-investigating\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"EnterIMM\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240812\" style=\"width: 24px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Fill-1.svg\" alt=\"\"> Ce que nous examinons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le programme d&#8217;apprentissage exp\u00e9rientiel en innovation, technologie et entrepreneuriat (ELITE) vise \u00e0 soutenir les jeunes Noirs en renfor\u00e7ant les comp\u00e9tences pratiques, les connaissances et la r\u00e9silience n\u00e9cessaires pour tracer des parcours vers des carri\u00e8res en STIM (sciences, technologies, ing\u00e9nierie et math\u00e9matiques). L\u2019objectif \u00e0 long terme d&#8217;ELITE est d&#8217;accro\u00eetre le nombre de jeunes Noirs qui poursuivent des \u00e9tudes en STIM \u00e0 l&#8217;universit\u00e9, menant ainsi \u00e0 des emplois bien r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s apr\u00e8s l&#8217;obtention de leur dipl\u00f4me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Offert durant l&#8217;\u00e9t\u00e9 aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves du secondaire (assistants) et aux \u00e9tudiants de premier cycle universitaire (associ\u00e9s), le programme comprend :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Des stages r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s de 8 \u00e0 16 semaines qui facilitent l&#8217;apprentissage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au travail.<br>\u2022 La s\u00e9rie de conception en entrepreneuriat (Entrepreneurship Design Series), qui comprend une formation en entrepreneuriat, en financement, en leadership, en travail d&#8217;\u00e9quipe et en comp\u00e9tences de communication.<br>\u2022 La s\u00e9rie sur le mieux-\u00eatre et l&#8217;encadrement (Wellness and Coaching Series), qui vise \u00e0 favoriser la croissance personnelle en renfor\u00e7ant les comp\u00e9tences li\u00e9es au mieux-\u00eatre, la r\u00e9silience et l&#8217;espoir, tout en am\u00e9liorant les connaissances et les comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 mentale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Phase 1 : 2021 \u00e0 2023<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Centre des Comp\u00e9tences futures a investi pour la premi\u00e8re fois dans le programme ELITE en 2021 afin de tester et d&#8217;\u00e9valuer si le mod\u00e8le r\u00e9ussissait \u00e0 faciliter les parcours de progression acad\u00e9mique et \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les obstacles \u00e0 l&#8217;entr\u00e9e sur le march\u00e9 du travail gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une formation pratique d\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res \u00e9tapes. La m\u00e9thodologie a impliqu\u00e9 une \u00e9quipe pluridisciplinaire d&#8217;experts qui a propos\u00e9 des stages int\u00e9gr\u00e9s au travail et une formation technique, en utilisant des \u00e9quipements de pointe et en encourageant des partenariats industriels solides afin de garantir l&#8217;acquisition de comp\u00e9tences compl\u00e8tes. Au cours de cette premi\u00e8re phase, l&#8217;\u00e9quipe du programme ELITE a recueilli des donn\u00e9es aupr\u00e8s des participants, avant et apr\u00e8s le programme, concernant la s\u00e9rie de conception en entrepreneuriat et la s\u00e9rie sur le mieux-\u00eatre et l&#8217;encadrement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Phase 2 : 2024<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u2019appuyant sur le succ\u00e8s des premi\u00e8res cohortes, le Centre des Comp\u00e9tences futures a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un investissement suppl\u00e9mentaire en 2024 et a financ\u00e9 une \u00e9valuation du programme ELITE, en collaboration avec la firme Malatest. Malatest a men\u00e9 une \u00e9valuation r\u00e9troactive des r\u00e9sultats pour les participants d&#8217;ELITE sur une p\u00e9riode de quatre ans (2021-2024). Les participants \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9valuation comprenaient des anciens du programme ELITE, des collaborateurs ainsi que des membres du personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet de la phase 2 comportait trois objectifs principaux :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Mieux comprendre l&#8217;impact du programme ELITE sur l&#8217;employabilit\u00e9 des jeunes Noirs apr\u00e8s la fin du programme.<br>\u2022 D\u00e9velopper une description compl\u00e8te des composantes de soutien global du programme ELITE afin qu&#8217;elles servent de mod\u00e8le pour de futurs programmes.<br>\u2022 Fournir des donn\u00e9es et des analyses sur l&#8217;impact des activit\u00e9s de soutien global cibl\u00e9es, notamment la formation en entrepreneuriat et l&#8217;accompagnement au bien-\u00eatre, sur les perspectives d&#8217;emploi des jeunes Noirs, ainsi que des solutions aux d\u00e9fis sp\u00e9cifiques auxquels ils sont confront\u00e9s dans la poursuite de carri\u00e8res en STIM.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"what-were-learning\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheResult\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240819\" style=\"width: 24px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative; top: -2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Fill-1-1.svg\" alt=\"\"> Ce que nous apprenons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre 2021 et 2024, le programme ELITE a accueilli 163 participants, soit 79 \u00e9l\u00e8ves du secondaire et 93 \u00e9tudiants de premier cycle universitaire. Bien que le programme se d\u00e9roule en Alberta, il s&#8217;est \u00e9largi pour inclure des \u00e9tudiants de l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 Carleton \u00e0 Ottawa en 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><em>Apprentissages &#8211; phase 1 :<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>La sensibilisation cibl\u00e9e a permis de relever les d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s au recrutement.<\/strong> Les difficult\u00e9s de recrutement des \u00e9l\u00e8ves du secondaire, particuli\u00e8rement au sein de la communaut\u00e9 noire francophone, ont mis en \u00e9vidence la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de mettre en place des strat\u00e9gies de recrutement plus proactives. Afin d&#8217;accro\u00eetre le nombre d&#8217;inscriptions, le programme ELITE a organis\u00e9 des s\u00e9ances d&#8217;information cibl\u00e9es dans les \u00e9coles et a cr\u00e9\u00e9 des postes de recrutement sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s au sein de la structure du projet. Le succ\u00e8s de l\u2019initiative de recrutement a soulign\u00e9 l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 d\u2019une sensibilisation personnalis\u00e9e et d\u2019un engagement communautaire direct pour surmonter les obstacles au recrutement et favoriser l\u2019inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Les composantes de soutien global du programme ELITE offrent des avantages et des opportunit\u00e9s uniques aux \u00e9tudiants, allant bien au-del\u00e0 de l&#8217;acquisition de connaissances et de comp\u00e9tences techniques.<\/strong> La s\u00e9rie sur le mieux-\u00eatre et l&#8217;accompagnement a aid\u00e9 les participants \u00e0 approfondir leurs connaissances et leurs comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 mentale, afin de renforcer leur r\u00e9silience et leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 g\u00e9rer les d\u00e9fis et \u00e0 s&#8217;\u00e9panouir dans les milieux universitaire et professionnel. Dans l&#8217;\u00e9valuation externe men\u00e9e pour la phase 1, les donn\u00e9es ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les participants s&#8217;accordaient largement \u00e0 dire que la s\u00e9rie sur le mieux-\u00eatre et l&#8217;accompagnement les avait aid\u00e9s \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des comp\u00e9tences en sant\u00e9 mentale et des strat\u00e9gies d&#8217;adaptation, en plus d&#8217;am\u00e9liorer leur connaissance de l&#8217;acc\u00e8s aux services de soutien. Bien que le programme aborde les comp\u00e9tences techniques par le biais de la formation int\u00e9gr\u00e9e au travail et de la conception entrepreneuriale, il s&#8217;attaque \u00e9galement aux d\u00e9fis particuliers li\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#8217;affirmation de soi face au racisme et au maintien du mieux-\u00eatre de mani\u00e8re holistique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Une \u00e9valuation interne r\u00e9guli\u00e8re peut renforcer les r\u00e9sultats.<\/strong> Le projet comprenait des \u00e9valuations internes annuelles et des boucles de r\u00e9troaction afin d&#8217;am\u00e9liorer la conception du programme et d&#8217;en accro\u00eetre l&#8217;inclusivit\u00e9 ainsi que l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la collecte de commentaires aupr\u00e8s des stagiaires et de leurs parents au d\u00e9but et \u00e0 la fin de la prestation du programme, les ajustements n\u00e9cessaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 apport\u00e9s, ce qui a men\u00e9 \u00e0 de meilleurs r\u00e9sultats. Par exemple, \u00e0 la suite des commentaires recueillis lors de l&#8217;\u00e9valuation de la deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e indiquant que certains stagiaires masculins auraient souhait\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sence de mod\u00e8les masculins noirs dans la s\u00e9rie sur le mieux-\u00eatre et l&#8217;accompagnement, le programme a int\u00e9gr\u00e9 une repr\u00e9sentation masculine noire dans cette composante. Cette approche it\u00e9rative a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 l&#8217;importance d&#8217;int\u00e9grer les perspectives des parties prenantes pour peaufiner et r\u00e9viser le contenu ainsi que la mise en \u0153uvre du programme afin d&#8217;en assurer la pleine efficacit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Passer \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9chelle sup\u00e9rieure pour maximiser l&#8217;impact.<\/strong> \u00c0 la suite du succ\u00e8s d&#8217;ELITE en Alberta, le programme a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en \u0153uvre \u00e0 l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 Carleton \u00e0 Ottawa. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son expansion \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur de l\u2019Alberta, le programme ELITE a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 son potentiel de croissance et de d\u00e9ploiement dans d\u2019autres villes et institutions canadiennes. De plus, le programme ELITE a orient\u00e9 l&#8217;\u00e9laboration d&#8217;autres initiatives \u00e0 l&#8217;Universit\u00e9 de l&#8217;Alberta, notamment le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ualberta.ca\/en\/social-sciences-humanities\/projects-initiatives\/black-youth-for-social-innovation-program.html\">programme Black Youth for Social Innovation<\/a> et le programme Black Youth Pathways to Law. Ces derniers visent \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des espaces et des occasions d&#8217;apprentissage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au travail pour les jeunes Noirs souhaitant poursuivre une carri\u00e8re en sciences sociales, en sciences humaines ou en droit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><em>Apprentissages &#8211; phase 2 :<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Les stages r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s pour les jeunes Noirs contribuent \u00e0 des retomb\u00e9es \u00e9conomiques et sociales positives.<\/strong> Les participants s&#8217;accordaient g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e0 dire que l&#8217;approche holistique, int\u00e9grant des stages r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9s, la s\u00e9rie sur la conception entrepreneuriale et la s\u00e9rie sur le mieux-\u00eatre et l&#8217;accompagnement, a renforc\u00e9 leur pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 l&#8217;emploi et leur \u00e9panouissement personnel. Les programmes de mentorat sont pr\u00e9cieux, mais ils ne suffisent pas \u00e0 eux seuls \u00e0 assurer la mobilit\u00e9 sociale ascendante des jeunes Noirs au d\u00e9but de leur parcours universitaire. Les conclusions de Malatest sur l&#8217;exp\u00e9rience de stage ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les participants ont cit\u00e9 le stage comme \u00e9tant la composante la plus utile du programme. Les participants ont confirm\u00e9 que l&#8217;apprentissage exp\u00e9rientiel et pratique acquis durant le stage remplit son r\u00f4le, soit celui de pr\u00e9parer les \u00e9tudiants \u00e0 int\u00e9grer le march\u00e9 du travail. En fait, 77 % des participants ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que le stage les avait aid\u00e9s \u00e0 se sentir mieux pr\u00e9par\u00e9s \u00e0 int\u00e9grer le march\u00e9 du travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>En tant qu&#8217;initiative dirig\u00e9e par des personnes noires, le programme ELITE offre une formation appropri\u00e9e et \u00e9clair\u00e9e \u00e0 son personnel ainsi qu&#8217;\u00e0 ses stagiaires.<\/strong> Les programmes sont plus efficaces lorsqu&#8217;ils sont mis en \u0153uvre par un personnel qui refl\u00e8te l&#8217;identit\u00e9 du groupe cible vis\u00e9. Dans le cas du programme ELITE, le personnel et les instructeurs noirs agissent \u00e0 la fois comme des mod\u00e8les, des d\u00e9fenseurs et des mentors. En tant qu&#8217;initiative dirig\u00e9e par des personnes noires, la sensibilisation du personnel aux enjeux actuels et ses liens \u00e9troits avec la communaut\u00e9 noire ont permis d&#8217;ajuster le programme de mani\u00e8re appropri\u00e9e. D&#8217;ici 2041, on s&#8217;attend \u00e0 ce que la population noire du Canada d\u00e9passe les <a href=\"https:\/\/www150.statcan.gc.ca\/n1\/en\/daily-quotidien\/221026\/dq221026b-eng.pdf?st=-hWnKUjV\">trois millions<\/a>. Les personnes noires au Canada continuent de faire face \u00e0 un racisme syst\u00e9mique anti-Noir g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9 dans nos syst\u00e8mes d&#8217;\u00e9ducation et sur le march\u00e9 du travail. Il est imp\u00e9ratif d&#8217;en faire plus pour nommer et combattre ce racisme au sein de l&#8217;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me des comp\u00e9tences, tout en intensifiant les efforts pour rendre les institutions d&#8217;enseignement et les milieux de travail plus inclusifs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les perspectives offertes par le programme ELITE ont des implications pour la politique et la pratique qui d\u00e9passent le cadre du projet. Ces r\u00e9sultats constituent un appel \u00e0 l&#8217;action pour les d\u00e9cideurs politiques, les financeurs et les autres d\u00e9cideurs concern\u00e9s par les disparit\u00e9s et l&#8217;inclusion au sein de la main-d&#8217;\u0153uvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un constat cl\u00e9 est la r\u00e9ussite du projet \u00e0 mobiliser des organisations communautaires ax\u00e9es sur les Noirs et dirig\u00e9es par des Noirs, ainsi que des professionnels noirs, soulignant ainsi l&#8217;importance des partenariats communautaires dans la prestation de programmes efficaces pour les jeunes sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s. Pour l&#8217;avenir, l&#8217;\u00e9quipe d&#8217;ELITE est ravie de poursuivre son partenariat avec le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ualberta.ca\/en\/engineering\/community-giving\/discovere-camps\/index.html\">programme DiscoverE<\/a> afin d&#8217;offrir aux jeunes Noirs du primaire des occasions d&#8217;explorer l&#8217;univers des STIM (sciences, technologies, ing\u00e9nierie et math\u00e9matiques). Cette intervention pr\u00e9coce est la cl\u00e9 pour b\u00e2tir un bassin de talents (pipeline) durable et complet en STIM pour les jeunes Noirs. L&#8217;\u00e9quipe du projet s&#8217;engage \u00e9galement \u00e0 poursuivre ses investissements dans la recherche. Les conclusions des \u00e9tudes de recherche quantitatives et qualitatives men\u00e9es sur le programme et son impact au sein des communaut\u00e9s noires et de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral auront des retomb\u00e9es majeures. Elles serviront non seulement \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer le programme ELITE, mais aussi \u00e0 orienter d&#8217;autres initiatives similaires, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 la mobilisation des connaissances sur
