de la COVID-19, ainsi que les incertitudes \u00e9conomiques, ont incit\u00e9 divers membres de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre de Grand Erie \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi d\u2019une mani\u00e8re plus g\u00e9n\u00e9rale. Ils reconnaissent l\u2019interconnexion de la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi selon la perception des employeurs, de la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi selon la perception des membres de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre et du d\u00e9veloppement de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre selon la perception des experts du march\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi local. Ils examinent \u00e9galement les liens entre tous ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments et la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 des individus, des organisations et des communaut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le gouvernement et les organisations communautaires locales ont une compr\u00e9hension limit\u00e9e des obstacles rencontr\u00e9s, sp\u00e9cifiques \u00e0 Grand Erie, et des programmes et politiques requis par les entreprises locales pour soutenir la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce projet a permis de cerner les lacunes dans la mani\u00e8re dont les employeurs, les employ\u00e9s et les personnes \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019un emploi des r\u00e9gions de Grand Erie (c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire la ville de Brantford, les Six Nations de Grand River, les Mississaugas de Credit et les comt\u00e9s de Brant Haldimand et Norfolk) soutiennent la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi et en font l\u2019exp\u00e9rience. Les revenus et les avantages, les perspectives de carri\u00e8re, l\u2019intensit\u00e9 du travail, la qualit\u00e9 du temps de travail, le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences et l\u2019environnement social ont \u00e9t\u00e9 examin\u00e9s. Les enqu\u00eates et les entretiens ont permis d\u2019identifier des d\u00e9fis en mati\u00e8re de r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration et d\u2019avantages sociaux, des probl\u00e8mes de communication entre les employeurs et les employ\u00e9s, et des lacunes dans les moyens mis en \u0153uvre par le gouvernement pour soutenir la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Cette recherche fournit aux organisations de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique de Grand Erie, aux \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement, aux prestataires de services communautaires, aux employeurs et aux d\u00e9cideurs politiques des \u00e9l\u00e9ments pour \u00e9clairer la prise de d\u00e9cision concernant les pratiques, les projets, les politiques et les partenariats qui soutiendraient et renforceraient la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi au niveau local.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group key-insights-grey has-background is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\" style=\"background-color:#0000000d\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Perspective Cl\u00e9<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px;margin-right: 16px\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No.svg\" alt=\"\">Seules 54&nbsp;% des personnes interrog\u00e9es ont indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019elles gagnaient suffisamment pour subvenir aux besoins fondamentaux de leur famille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px;margin-right: 16px\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-1.svg\" alt=\"\">29&nbsp;% des salari\u00e9s \u00e0 temps plein ont indiqu\u00e9 recevoir des augmentations de salaire annuelles bas\u00e9es sur l\u2019inflation, mais environ 73&nbsp;% des entreprises ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 offrir des augmentations annuelles bas\u00e9es sur l\u2019inflation \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble de leurs salari\u00e9s ou aux salari\u00e9s \u00e0 temps plein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-flex\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-243230\" style=\"width: 40px;margin-right: 16px\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/No-2.svg\" alt=\"\">Environ 50&nbsp;% des employ\u00e9s interrog\u00e9s ont envisag\u00e9 de quitter leur emploi au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e \u00e9coul\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"the-issue\" class=\"wp-block-ob-blocks-anchor-point\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column gradient-top purple is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\" id=\"TheChallenge\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240812\" style=\"width: 12px;height: 24px;margin-right: 10px;position: relative;top: -2px\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Vector-2.svg\" alt=\"\"> <strong>L\u2019enjeu<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group flex-print is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>En 2020, le Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie a constat\u00e9 qu\u2019une grande partie de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre locale faisait fr\u00e9quemment des heures suppl\u00e9mentaires, se sentait d\u00e9pass\u00e9e par la quantit\u00e9 de travail qu\u2019elle devait accomplir et \u00e9tait globalement insatisfaite de la conciliation travail-vie personnelle. Plus d\u2019un employ\u00e9 sur deux a envisag\u00e9 de quitter son emploi au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e \u00e9coul\u00e9e en raison de l\u2019\u00e9puisement professionnel et des dysfonctionnements sur le lieu de travail. L\u2019enqu\u00eate EmployerOne&nbsp;2023 de Grand Erie a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que le maintien des effectifs \u00e9tait devenu un probl\u00e8me plus important depuis la pand\u00e9mie pour 47&nbsp;% des employeurs interrog\u00e9s. Les donn\u00e9es sur les postes vacants dans la p\u00e9ninsule de Hamilton-Niagara \u2013 qui englobe Grand Erie \u2013 indiquent que les postes vacants ont presque doubl\u00e9 au cours des cinq derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Cela freine la capacit\u00e9 des entreprises \u00e0 se d\u00e9velopper.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les employeurs, le gouvernement et les agences communautaires de Grand Erie \u00e9taient d\u00e9sireux de comprendre pourquoi les gens restent dans certains emplois et les quittent. Ils souhaitaient obtenir des donn\u00e9es leur permettant d\u2019\u00e9laborer des r\u00e9ponses politiques et pratiques appropri\u00e9es pour soutenir la croissance \u00e9conomique. La qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi est un concept utile pour d\u00e9velopper cette compr\u00e9hension.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi est un concept \u00e0 multiples facettes, dont chacun des \u00e9l\u00e9ments converge pour soutenir le d\u00e9veloppement durable de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre. Elle reconna\u00eet que la fa\u00e7on dont la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre per\u00e7oit et qualifie le travail que l\u2019on attend d\u2019elle influence ses performances et ses niveaux de productivit\u00e9. En revanche, les revenus et les avantages sociaux ainsi que les perspectives de carri\u00e8re ne sont pas aussi bien \u00e9valu\u00e9s par les personnes interrog\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les \u00e9carts en mati\u00e8re de communication entre les employeurs et les employ\u00e9s&nbsp;:&nbsp;<\/strong>Des \u00e9carts importants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9s entre les perceptions des employ\u00e9s et des employeurs concernant les augmentations de salaire, les offres de d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences et les perspectives de carri\u00e8re, ce qui sugg\u00e8re la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de renforcer les canaux de communication sur le lieu de travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00c9carts entre les r\u00e9mun\u00e9rations offertes et le salaire viable local&nbsp;:<\/strong>&nbsp;Les personnes interrog\u00e9es ont jug\u00e9 essentiel de r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des salari\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration, les salaires inf\u00e9rieurs au minimum vital \u00e9tant, pour beaucoup, la principale raison pour laquelle les salari\u00e9s envisageaient de quitter leur emploi.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les mutations de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre provoqu\u00e9es par les variations de la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi dans les diff\u00e9rents secteurs&nbsp;:&nbsp;<\/strong>En comprenant l\u2019\u00e9volution des lieux de travail choisis par la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre, les employeurs et les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement peuvent \u00eatre mieux \u00e9quip\u00e9s pour favoriser le maintien des employ\u00e9s et les transitions harmonieuses entre les professions et les secteurs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Soutien des pouvoirs publics et de la collectivit\u00e9 dont les entreprises ont besoin&nbsp;:&nbsp;<\/strong>Parmi les autres mesures de soutien, les employeurs ont soulign\u00e9 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019accro\u00eetre la disponibilit\u00e9, l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9, le caract\u00e8re abordable et la qualit\u00e9 des programmes de formation au d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales, essentielles et techniques. Dans le cadre d\u2019une strat\u00e9gie g\u00e9n\u00e9rale visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi, il faudra veiller \u00e0 ce que la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre en situation d\u2019emploi vuln\u00e9rable ait acc\u00e8s aux m\u00eames droits et avantages que les autres travailleurs, y compris l\u2019assurance-emploi ou le droit \u00e0 la d\u00e9connexion. Il sera \u00e9galement n\u00e9cessaire de pr\u00e9voir des initiatives d\u2019am\u00e9lioration et de requalification des comp\u00e9tences afin que les personnes puissent acc\u00e9der \u00e0 de meilleures opportunit\u00e9s d\u2019emploi dans d\u2019autres professions et d\u2019autres secteurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La s\u00e9rie sur&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/fr\/recherche\/la-qualite-de-lemploi\/\">la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi<\/a>&nbsp;explore les pratiques actuelles en mati\u00e8re de r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration et d\u2019avantages sociaux, de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi, d\u2019environnement de travail, de d\u00e9veloppement professionnel et d\u2019environnement social g\u00e9n\u00e9ral pour la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre, les employeurs et les d\u00e9cideurs politiques.
