Il existe un besoin imm\u00e9diat de fournir un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la formation technologique aux \u00e9tudiants du nord du Manitoba et de l\u2019est de la Saskatchewan afin de leur permettre de rester connect\u00e9s \u00e0 leur famille et \u00e0 leur communaut\u00e9 et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer les taux de r\u00e9tention et de r\u00e9ussite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet InTeRN offre une formation en technologies de l\u2019information et des communications (TIC) aux femmes et aux jeunes autochtones, leur permettant ainsi d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir les comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires pour occuper des emplois de techniciens de premi\u00e8re ligne dans les industries de TIC du Manitoba qui servent le Nord. L\u2019approche culturellement appropri\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 essentielle pour maintenir l\u2019engagement des \u00e9tudiants malgr\u00e9 les nombreux obstacles auxquels ils sont confront\u00e9s pour poursuivre des \u00e9tudes \u00e0 temps plein tout en maintenant leurs obligations familiales et communautaires.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Centre des Comp\u00e9tences futures investit 1,09&nbsp;million de dollars pour \u00e9largir et modifier ce projet, apr\u00e8s un pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent investissement de 996\u2009300&nbsp;$. Il offre des conditions d\u2019\u00e9tudes flexibles pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de la famille et de la communaut\u00e9, et un apprentissage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au travail avec des partenaires industriels. Les soutiens polyvalents comprennent le mentorat, le soutien psychologique, les conf\u00e9rences et le transport pour aider \u00e0 surmonter les obstacles qui emp\u00eachent les personnes du Nord de pr\u00e9liminaires<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le programme InTeRN a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 son succ\u00e8s dans la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une communaut\u00e9 d\u2019apprentissage o\u00f9 les \u00e9tudiants
