Un ensemble de technologies \u00e9mergentes, connu sous le nom d&#8217;agriculture cellulaire, pourrait permettre une production locale et fiable de produits laitiers et de viande de remplacement, avec une faible empreinte environnementale. Cependant, la technologie \u00e0 elle seule ne peut constituer une solution pour les syst\u00e8mes alimentaires, et la cr\u00e9ation d&#8217;une strat\u00e9gie efficace et r\u00e9siliente pour les syst\u00e8mes alimentaires exige que la technologie soit vue sous le prisme englobant de la durabilit\u00e9 sociale, culturelle, \u00e9conomique et environnementale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Centre des comp\u00e9tences futures investit 234 859 $ dans ce projet de deux ans. Cette recherche porte sur le potentiel de l\u2019agriculture cellulaire, envisag\u00e9e comme moyen d&#8217;am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire, le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique et la durabilit\u00e9 au Canada. Elle s\u2019appuie sur la r\u00e9gion de Fraser Valley en Colombie-Britannique comme \u00e9tude de cas. Fond\u00e9e sur une approche communautaire marqu\u00e9e par la participation du gouvernement local, des parties prenantes et des membres de la communaut\u00e9, la recherche explore les possibilit\u00e9s et les d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s au d\u00e9veloppement d&#8217;une industrie locale de l\u2019agriculture cellulaire. Ses r\u00e9sultats permettront d&#8217;\u00e9tablir un plan et une feuille de route pour le d\u00e9veloppement d&#8217;une telle industrie dans la Fraser Valley, et les conclusions permettront d&#8217;obtenir des d\u00e9tails sur le lancement d&#8217;un projet pilote local.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center has-pale-grey-background-color has-background is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Evaluation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce projet sera \u00e9valu\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019outils et de m\u00e9thodes qui concordent avec ses objectifs, son contexte et son stade de d\u00e9veloppement. L\u2019\u00e9valuation mettra l\u2019accent sur la production de donn\u00e9es probantes pertinentes et au bon moment, afin de faire progresser l\u2019intervention. <a
