			{"id":342781,"date":"2026-02-02T23:08:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-03T04:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/?p=342781"},"modified":"2026-06-19T11:10:49","modified_gmt":"2026-06-19T15:10:49","slug":"blog-edi-policies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/fr\/blog-edi-policies\/","title":{"rendered":"Rep\u00e9rez le ressac: La perception r\u00e9elle des employ\u00e9s envers les politiques de diversit\u00e9, d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 et d\u2019inclusion au travail"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Les politiques de diversit\u00e9, d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 et d\u2019inclusion (\u00c9DI) en milieu de travail font aujourd\u2019hui face \u00e0 des critiques <a href=\"https:\/\/financialpost.com\/opinion\/opinion-our-universities-need-to-ditch-dei-and-get-back-to-merit-and-excellence\">tant politiques<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/financialpost.com\/opinion\/opinion-our-universities-need-to-ditch-dei-and-get-back-to-merit-and-excellence\">que m\u00e9diatiques<\/a>&nbsp;: un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne marqu\u00e9 aux \u00c9tats-Unis, mais qui se fait aussi sentir ici, au Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans ce contexte, il est important de souligner que ces politiques d&#8217;\u00c9DI sont loin de faire l&#8217;objet d&#8217;une controverse parmi les employ\u00e9s eux-m\u00eames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le <a href=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/fr\/recherche\/sondage-sur-lemploi-et-les-competences\/\">Sondage sur l\u2019emploi et les comp\u00e9tences<\/a> a r\u00e9cemment interrog\u00e9 les travailleurs canadiens sur les politiques d\u2019\u00c9DI, d\u00e9finies comme les \u00ab efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s par certains employeurs pour recruter des personnes de diverses origines ethnoculturelles, de diff\u00e9rents genres, groupes d\u2019\u00e2ge ou orientations sexuelles, et pour favoriser l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 en milieu de travail<sup>1<\/sup> \u00bb. Le sondage r\u00e9v\u00e8le que\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>54 % des r\u00e9pondants voient d&#8217;un bon \u0153il l&#8217;importance accord\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00c9DI au travail, alors que 27 % affichent une opinion neutre et que seulement 16 % y voient une mauvaise chose;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>46&nbsp;% affirment que leur entreprise ou organisation accorde une attention satisfaisante \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00c9DI, alors que 22&nbsp;% estiment qu&#8217;elle n&#8217;en fait pas assez et 26&nbsp;% qu&#8217;elle en fait trop;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pr\u00e8s de la moiti\u00e9 (46 %) des r\u00e9pondants affirment que l&#8217;approche de leur employeur en mati\u00e8re d&#8217;\u00c9DI a eu un effet positif sur leurs propres perspectives professionnelles. Par ailleurs, 35 % n&#8217;ont ressenti aucun impact, et seulement 12 % signalent un impact n\u00e9gatif.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>En somme, la grande majorit\u00e9 des travailleurs se disent favorables ou neutres, alors qu\u2019une infime proportion d\u2019entre eux se montre critique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est toutefois en analysant les critiques de plus pr\u00e8s que la situation devient particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ressante. Si seulement 12&nbsp;% de l&#8217;ensemble des travailleurs canadiens estiment avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 frein\u00e9s par l&#8217;approche de leur employeur en mati\u00e8re d&#8217;EDI, on pourrait s&#8217;attendre \u00e0 ce que ce chiffre soit bien plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 chez certains groupes, disons&#8230; plus \u00ab&nbsp;privil\u00e9gi\u00e9s&nbsp;\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examinons les donn\u00e9es de plus pr\u00e8s. Je ne pense pas que l\u2019\u00e9cart de quatre points de pourcentage (dans les proportions signalant un impact n\u00e9gatif dans chaque cas) constitue r\u00e9ellement un ressac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toutefois, peut-\u00eatre n\u2019avons-nous pas encore assez creus\u00e9 la question. Gr\u00e2ce au soutien de nos partenaires de recherche, l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.torontomu.ca\/diversity\/\">Institut de la diversit\u00e9<\/a> et le <a href=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/fr\/\">Centre des Comp\u00e9tences futures<\/a>, la taille de l\u2019\u00e9chantillon nous permet d\u2019analyser les donn\u00e9es avec une plus grande pr\u00e9cision. Les r\u00e9sultats pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans le graphique ci-dessous portent d\u2019abord sur l\u2019ensemble de la population active, pour ensuite s\u2019attarder au genre, \u00e0 l\u2019identit\u00e9 raciale, \u00e0 l\u2019orientation sexuelle et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge.<a href=\"https:\/\/cdnsurveystuff.substack.com\/p\/spot-the-backlash?utm_source=post-email-title&amp;publication_id=1789926&amp;post_id=178428559&amp;utm_campaign=email-post-title&amp;isFreemail=true&amp;r=1qf8d2&amp;triedRedirect=true&amp;utm_medium=email#footnote-2-178428559\"><sup>2<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"558\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-2-1024x558.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-336758\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-2-1024x558.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-2-300x164.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-2-768x419.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-2-10x5.jpeg 10w, https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-2.jpeg 1247w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Voyez-vous un ressac se dessiner ? Personnellement, non.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il ne fait aucun doute que les opinions varient selon le groupe d\u2019\u00e2ge. Les travailleurs plus \u00e2g\u00e9s sont moins susceptibles de percevoir un impact positif des politiques d\u2019\u00c9DI (un constat qui s\u2019applique aux a\u00een\u00e9s en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, et non seulement aux hommes blancs plus \u00e2g\u00e9s). On observe toutefois que les opinions se d\u00e9placent principalement vers une position neutre (aucun impact). La proportion d\u2019hommes blancs h\u00e9t\u00e9rosexuels de 50&nbsp;ans et plus affirmant que les politiques d\u2019\u00c9DI ont nui \u00e0 leurs propres perspectives n\u2019est que de cinq points de pourcentage sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la moyenne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il y a certainement beaucoup \u00e0 dire sur la fa\u00e7on dont les employeurs et les employ\u00e9s s\u2019adaptent \u00e0 la diversit\u00e9 croissante de la population active au Canada. Les politiques aux meilleures intentions ne sont pas toujours bien appliqu\u00e9es. Les d\u00e9clarations de principe ne sont pas toujours suivies d\u2019effets dans les faits. Ce n\u2019est pas mon intention. Il est juste de pr\u00e9ciser que les Canadiens de tous horizons sont plus enclins \u00e0 percevoir ces mesures de mani\u00e8re positive que n\u00e9gative.
